The ordering counter and dining room.

The food is delicious and the price is right! They have a drive-through service or you can dine in. We decided to dine in. The restaurant was clean and spacious. It was a busy Saturday evening, but service was quick and friendly. They have a nice hot sauce bar. This is a great place.

Carne asada with cheese, sour cream and guacamole.

This was ordered as a carne asada burrito with cheese, sour cream and guacamole. All paid extra for and nowhere in site. I'm half way through the burrito. I've been coming here for years and this has become more and more common. Unfortunately, this is it. Done. Too many other wonderful restaurants in town I'd rather spend my money on

I ordered the 5 rolled tacos with the sour cream and guacamole on the side. It was very good. My girlfriend ordered the potato tacos . She loves them.

The absolute best place to get mexican food. This place is 24 hrs, so I always come here!

Just your standard good old Mexican drive-through food but the burritos are very big and priced between nine to $12 depending on what you get. They always give you enough napkins and salsa and the service is quick and friendly. The burritos are massive.

If I could, I'd rate it at 3.5 because I will go back. In my SDSU days (and to be honest, throughout my life while I lived in SD), I'd eat a burrito at least once a week. After moving to North County, we had to find our new favorite taco shops. We've lived up here just over 10 years and this is the first shop that is most closely reminiscent of a taco shop from SD. It's a very weird comparison, maybe for out of towners, but my San Diegan partner and I agreed on this. 1) it's open late. Why are so many taco shops closing at 9 pm up here?? Haha. So thank you Deiberto's for staying open 24/7! 2) their green and red salsas. No fancy habanero salsa here, which I typically choose, but their salsa Verde reminds me that I used to love getting green salsas for anything I ordered. Their salsa Verde is good! 3) speed. As we rolled up to the window to pay, our food was ready. Not even Taco Bell is this fast.

Wood or stem in my taco? Hard as rock.. I thought it was a sweater string tip at first

Love this place, come here atleast once a week after late night shifts. Especially shoutout to the older guy they have late at night. Not certain why the ladies they have on are always super grouchy. But I would like to know there was a piece of wood or plant stem in my taco...

Look at that! That's a huge tostada de ceviche

Huge tostada de ceviche!!!! Huge! No peppers so I can handle it lol. Fresh, filling, yummy. I asked for Mayo to add to the tostada. Kids meal is big too. Husband got caldo de res and it was huge filling and wholesome. Don't miss this place, stop in and fill up. Clean dine in, plenty of space. Outdoor seating. Watch sunset. Workers are super nice and cook is talented.

While visiting California we stop by to get a bite to eat. This is what we ordered 1 California burrito, 1 carne asada burrito, carne asada fries and 12 rolled tacos. The cali burrito and asada burrito were nice and big great taste. Carne asada fries were a nice mixture. Rolled tacos were nicely topped off with guacamole and cheese. The salsas had a fresh taste and spice. No problem with the food. The missing star was for the young lady taking our order, no customer service (no hello, no thank you or asking the simple question is there anything else). Just the expression on her face says it all. Didn't catch her name but Please smile a little.

Food 3/5 Portions 5/5 Atmosphere 4/5 Cleanliness 5/5 Customer service 5/5 Speed 5/5 Price $ Outdoor seating? Yes Wheelchair access? Yes Restrooms? Yes M/F Vegetarian options? Yes Massive portions. Absolutely worth the price. Salsas are delicious. The flavor of the food is a typical fast food place but the salsa really dresses them up. Lots of space inside and they had a drive thru.

Paid 19.85 for carne asada fries. The fries are greasy old and stale. Huge waste of money.

They have the best molcajete and fajitas around, at the best prices. We are here just to see if Cocina Del Mar is better. Long story short: it's not. However, their ceviche is AMAZING. Best ceviche I have had in north county San Diego outside of Dija Mara (which has the best ceviche in the known universe). It is extremely fresh and not overpowered by acidity, fishy smells or rubbery shrimp. The ceviche here is legit. Great. AND ONLY $10 (for cameron). If you order anything here, get the ceviche first. I'm anxious to try their aguachile now. We also ordered the fajitas ("suprema" with chicken, steak and shrimp). Fajitas did not come out sizzling at all. I have never seen this before. Also, there were only two shrimp. The steak/carne was bland and dry. Not great. Wife ordered the Sopes (3) and mother ordered the Enchiladas Cameron. The sopes were okay, but a bit bland. Wife had to salt everything on the plate. The enchiladas had a sauce my mom said was too sweet. She wasn't a fan. For all three dishes to be a miss is completely strange considering the sheer number of 5-star reviews. I want to believe. We must have come on an off-day, but the place was busy. Quite a few larger parties were here, so this place is popular with the natives. We also grabbed a Model and a Corona. Only $5 for the beers! Total for everything came to $117.64 (with tip). I would absolutely come back for the ceviche and to give them another shot by trying a different dish. I snapped pics of the menu so you can see the latest prices. Check it out.

It's a true family-style operation--one owner personally takes your order while the other is in the kitchen cooking everything fresh, and you can taste that attention to detail in every bite. It's the kind of place where you know you're getting authentic, homemade quality, not something rushed or generic. As a Cali Native now living in…read morethe great state of Texas, sometimes it's refreshing to step outside the land of Tex‑Mex and get the real deal again. Colima's hits that spot every single time. When you walk in, the person behind the counter greets you immediately -- and not the dry "hi, what can I get you?" type of greeting. You get a full "¡Buenos días, mija!" with that warm, almost‑grito energy that makes you feel like you just walked into your tío's spot instead of a restaurant. Super friendly, super natural, and very SoCal. I ordered the rolled tacos plate and wow... esa porción estaba gigante. I couldn't finish it. What I loved most was the meat; this is what meat is supposed to taste like. The beef was seasoned the way we grew up eating it: a little salty, a little savory, with that slow‑cooked tenderness that lets you know it didn't come from some pre‑bagged, mystery‑meat situation. You get hints of garlic, a little cumin, and that warm, almost toasty flavor that comes from meat that's actually been browned, not steamed. It tasted like someone's abuela was in the back saying, "No, no, déjalo dorar un poquito más. And the corn tortillas? Perfect. Thin enough to get that crisp roll, thick enough not to shatter. None of that flour‑tortilla‑trying‑to‑be‑crispy nonsense. These were crunchy, flavorful, and loaded. The toppings were just as good. The guacamole tasted fresh. You could taste the real avocado which was creamy, a little chunky, with lime that actually tasted like lime and not concentrate. The red salsa had a legit kick to it. It had hints of roasted chiles, was smoky and had a slightly bitter edge that tells you they actually roasted them instead of just tossing raw peppers into a blender. It wasn't tourist spicy; it was SoCal Mexican‑restaurant spicy, which is a whole different category. My partner ordered a breakfast burrito and honestly? That thing could've fed three people. It was massive, stuffed to the brim with cheese, egg, potatoes, and fresh bacon and exactly what a SoCal breakfast burrito should be: simple, hearty, and no shortcuts. Between the portions, the flavor, and the service that feels like home, this spot stays on my list every time I'm in Oceanside. If you're craving real Mexican food and not Tex‑Mex, pull up. You'll leave full and happy. #supportlocal
