What incredible service! I was experiencing a potentially long power outage. PG&E was replacing several power poles on my property. It was when my generator didn't kick on, I knew I was in trouble. Degryss Electric was here in less than half an hour. Brandon found the Problem and repaired it immediately. Can't thank you folks enough. I highly recommend Brandon and this company! read more

With all the PG&E outages in the last couple of months I decided it was time to get a whole house generator. I work out of my house, so not having internet, electricity, computers, network, and VOIP phones is not a good thing. We went with Degryse Electric for the project. They installed a Generac 22kw whole house natural gas generator. We initially dealt with Aaron Degryse and he came out to the house when promised, surveyed our needs and made the recommendation to go with the natural gas 22kw system. Cost was reasonable and the installation was fast. All of Aaron's employees came when they said they would, were friendly and helpful as I asked questions and generally treated me like I was the most important customer they had ever had. Bottom line, if you are in the market for a backup generator for the house, Degryse Electric is the place to go. Family owned, fair pricing, quick response times, showed up when they said they would, and made the process painless. We have already had our generator save us several times in the last few months from the inevitable outages from PG&E. read more

I reached out to Generac after getting an estimate for a 18Kw Generator Installation that was way over priced. Generac referred me to Aaron and his company Degryse Electric. Aaron came out to the house when I got home from work and scoped it out and found a much better location for the Generac Generator Installation at about 1/2 of the price of the first estimate. We had a couple scheduling issues, my fault. This week they came out a day early due to the weather and prepared the area for the installation. They installed the Generator in 1 full day which was ahead of schedule and it looks amazing. They were able to run the installation through the garage and did a wonderful job very clean, organized. Joe and his crew were so helpful, friendly and did everything with very limited down time which was one of my biggest concerns. Truly professionals. Degryse Electric is a first class company with excellent customer service. I even got a call from Aaron to make sure everything was done to my satisfaction. Now that is Customer Service. read more

I interviewed five backup generator installers in the SF Bay Area for a new Generac 20KW natural gas generator. For electrical or plumbing work in the past, I used Marin's largest company, Ongaro. This time Ongaro was a disappointment. I had to meet with three people before they could quote me. When it finally arrived, there were three different quotes I had to add up for the total. The result was 25% higher than any of the other four. I met with Aaron, the owner of Degryse Electric. I was immediately impressed with the time he took to explain EVERY aspect of an installation, from getting a permit to running a gas line and electrical. Aaron returned to my site three times to help plot the best-case spot to build the generator. The workers (Matt, Brandon, and Jose) showed up on a Wednesday and claimed they would have it running by Friday afternoon. I was skeptical. Because of a. change in the permit rules, the generator had to be 10 feet from the house, which meant we had to move the installation to a new location in the backyard of my house. This meant all the cost calculations were off because the gas line had a much longer run. Even though that should raise the total price, they kept the original quote. I was extremely impressed with the knowledge the foreman, Chad Myers had and how much he taught me about the how the generators work and how to keep them running well. And sure enough, on Friday afternoon, Chad did a test, disconnecting the PGE power to my house. Within few minutes my Generac started running and a few seconds later the transfer swithc turned my power back on. I was very pleased. There is no question that I would hire Degryse in a heartbeat and highly recommend them. Mitch W read more

Was so incredibly happy with the service provided from Chad and Jose. They were extremely communicative, efficient, and reliable. We have worked with contractors in the past that took way longer than expected and never let us know what was going on, so we were so incredibly appreciative that Chad and Jose made this such a positive experience for us. We highly recommend their services in the fullest capacity! read more

We needed someone to help us with our newly completed 65,000 office space. We have kitchens, coffee bars, conference rooms with special power requirements. Our contractor had not been able to complete everything and we needed someone to come in and take a look and quote it out. Aaron came down to the office and after a few strokes of the pen he had mapped out the entire project! One of his top people responded early the next day with a detailed and very competetive quote. Since then the work has been completed to above our satisfaction, and we look forward to working with Degryse Electric again soon! read more

We decided to have a Home Emergency Power Generator installed. We initially tried a local company, but they only provided a list of reasons why they couldn't complete the installation. We received a call from Degryse Electric and they agreed to provide us with an estimate for installation. After concurring on a price, the installation began. We had a couple of large bushes where the electrical connections had to go. Chad and Brandon were the installers and did a spectacular job. They worked in very confined spaces, had to remove a section of our new lawn, dig a trench to install the electrical conduit and replace the lawn over the trench before installing the generator. This was a detractor for the original company, but Chad and Brandon did an outstanding job and you can't even tell that the lawn was even disturbed. The folks that work at Degryse Electric are very professional and knowledgeable, including Cherie in the office, that kept us informed throughout the installation process. read more

Backup Generator for entire home - what with the PG&E Public Safety Power Outages we were faced with going gas or solar. We chose gas backup as Half Moon Bay isn't exactly the sunny part of California. And actually I didn't think there was a place to install a generator that satisfied code requirements. Then Degryse Electric arrived in the name of Jeff Westin to survey the property and found the absolute perfect niche of a corner, tucked out of street view and fitting exactly to code requirements. Jeff and his team proceeded to prove his expertise in layout, installation, hookup, inspection and hands-on training. The process went so smoothly with Office coordination under the direction of Cherie Chavez that I barely had to lift a finger. As a final touch since we live in a community of near-by neighbors, we learned of a Zombie Box cover designed to absorb a good percent of the generator noise. Needless to say we're very pleased with this generator and the support provided by Degryse Electric. read more

Degryse Electric did an excellent job both in work quality and in fast execution. They were able to pull in our whole-house generator installation schedule so that we have it before the inevitable PG&E power shutdowns this fall. Everyone that I dealt with was friendly and knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. Just over a week after contacting them, the generator was installed and functional. Definately a "Go-To" company. read more
