I've driven past a few times and today I'm delighted that I stopped to try them out. It's breakfast o'clock and there is table service so take a seat and someone is right with you. They get it right with taking a coffee order right away, do I look like I need one? Well I did need one and lucky for everybody it was made promptly and delivered with a smile. Today I chose the Big Breaky Burger. I find it hard not to give these a try everywhere. I noted on the menu some additional ingredients that you won't typically see. This burger was clearly of a higher class. When it arrived (which was surprisingly quick, I guess they are quiet today, but awesome) the presentation was pretty eye catching. I blurted our something stupid and incomprehensible to the waitress. What I meant to say was "that looks awesome" and "thank you". Let's cut to the juice. The coffee is great, smooth with no bitterness! The bacon is delicious, maybe a light smokey flavour and crisped to perfection. The burger is made on a fluffy brioche bun as it should be. The avocado was generous and had a slight lemon flavour like they cared for it delicately begins the scenes. I love this place after one visit! I'll be back, and I'll bring other people. No discernable flavour, some cheese in there but that still didn't give it any flavour. It was pretty unpleasant to eat. I suffered through it though because I was starving and I know you can't rely on getting delicious food on any flight. Graeme's wrap was better and next time I would stick to something a bit more standard if I was eating here again. So even though the food was bad, they still won my heart over by being open. If flights are going to be departing at 3.30am, Melbourne Airport should really make sure there's some food options for them at that time of night.
