I've driven past a few times and today I'm delighted that I stopped to try them out. It's breakfast o'clock and there is table service so take a seat and someone is right with you. They get it right with taking a coffee order right away, do I look like I need one? Well I did need one and lucky for everybody it was made promptly and delivered with a smile. Today I chose the Big Breaky Burger. I find it hard not to give these a try everywhere. I noted on the menu some additional ingredients that you won't typically see. This burger was clearly of a higher class. When it arrived (which was surprisingly quick, I guess they are quiet today, but awesome) the presentation was pretty eye catching. I blurted our something stupid and incomprehensible to the waitress. What I meant to say was "that looks awesome" and "thank you". Let's cut to the juice. The coffee is great, smooth with no bitterness! The bacon is delicious, maybe a light smokey flavour and crisped to perfection. The burger is made on a fluffy brioche bun as it should be. The avocado was generous and had a slight lemon flavour like they cared for it delicately begins the scenes. I love this place after one visit! I'll be back, and I'll bring other people. Anyway, seeing it, and doubting that I would be down here again any time soo, I decided to pop in for a coffee. Well, coffee was pretty cool, but I also have to mention that Darth Vader was also standing in the middle of the room. Mind you, since I don't have a car I had to walk up to the window, but they cater for that as well, with an outdoor area where you can sit down. The chef then came out and told me that both beverages were correct and i was in the wrong even though the coffee barrister told me the an error had a occurred the rude chef told me then to leave the shop and then sarcastically pulled out coins and thru them outside for me to collect, i asked him mate I'm not a dog could you please pick up the coins and place them in my hand so he did. Also to add the chef told me that i was belittling him and told me to leave the shop. All i wanted was a basic $4.50 refund. So Guys Please check your drinks from this place and never, never ask for a refund there as the chef will try to humiliate you in front of all the other customers. The thing was that when I came here we didn't have all that much time so I just grabbed a take-away tea and ran to catch the train, but looking around I really wanted to spend some more time here. Oh, and the staff were awesome, which is probably why I want to come back.
