Everyone in the office is a joy to be around from the front desk to the back. You can tell everyone is happy to be there and likes what they do. Prior to visiting Dr. Rogge I had some really bad and painful experiences at the dentist, which caused me to skip going for several years, now I would go nowhere else. Cannot believe with this implant I had zero pain...zero, was amazed. Also had a small cavity and filling, that needed no anesthetic, that was a first for me, and zero pain. These people were too, too nice over the phone and bordered on the edge of irritating with all their questions and a spiel about the office, and then again with a follow up call that was unnecessary. I walked into the office and smelled cookies! WTF!? What dentist has cookies in the waiting room???!!! Along with coffee, sugar, creamer, teas and a bowl of fruit. My intuition told me to walk out and I have kicked myself for not listening! After the intake, I was taken on a tour of the office. That's right folks, a tour. Each chair has a monitor on which to watch a movie while being worked on. Seriously...how can one concentrate on a movie with drilling, prodding and poking going on?! I sure can't. And over here we have a state of the art digital imaging machine...and? But the pièce de résistance was the paraffin wax bath for your hands, souvenir coffee mug, lip balm and pen! Run, run away as fast as you can. My fears were confirmed after I was sold this antibiotic (Arestin) which they inject into your gum pockets. At $40 a pop and no insurance I was fuming mad and $320 in the hole. Not only that, but Arestin is only minimally effective and the hygenists get incentive pay for selling it! I was able to recoup half of that from the practice after much bitching, but I will never go back and will certainly do thorough research on a drug or procedure beforehand. And the dentist? I saw him a total of 5 minutes on the first visit. He checked the xrays and looked at my teeth and told me what needed to be done and that was it. Didn't even have the balls to talk to me about the Arestin!

During my first visit, the staff was constantly engaging the Dentist in conversation while he worked on my teeth. I don't like feeling that I am not the focus of the medical care and the results are evidence why this is not a professional way to conduct business. I left the office without getting the Dentist's attention on my last visit, convinced that I would still not be happy with any new work. I also reject the attitude that making a client wait more than 20 minutes after an appt time is acceptable. Now I will have to see another Dentist to repair the shoddy work on the crown.

I've never had any dental anything done (I had an exam that left me in severe pain 4 years ago and a couple wisdom teeth consultations within the last 4 years but nothing else) and I have medical PTSD which made the thought of getting it fixed terrifying. I originally was going to have my tooth repaired at the Loveland office by Dr. Gomez on March 21st but there was an issue and I had to reschedule; the soonest I could get in was April 4th at the Fort Collins office. I was really nervous about it because my spouse had a good experience in Loveland and the change in venue made my anxiety bad but I wanted to see Dr. Gomez and it was see him two weeks later in Fort Collins or wait several weeks to get in with the Loveland office. Since it's a broken tooth I decided to get in faster. Communication with the Fort Collins office from the start was much worse than I experienced with the Loveland office. There were longer delays in getting answers and questions had to be asked repeatedly, with different answers being given each time. I was told that they would have no problems prescribing me a benzo to help with my severe, crippling anxiety to help me sleep the night before and get through the procedure. Their website says they do sedation including oral sedation. April 3rd came and they hadn't called it in. I was anxious and couldn't sleep because I had this procedure looming that felt like I was going to die if I got it done because my anxiety was so out of control. They finally called around 10am on April 4th. I'm a day sleeper, they were told from the start that I 100% must have the latest possible appointment because even then I'll be getting up at least 2 hours earlier than normal to make it in time. I hadn't really been able to sleep yet. I thought maybe they were calling to tell me they finally called in the medication for my anxiety. No. They were calling because it was snowing lightly and there was barely a dusting of snow so they wanted to move appointments earlier so they could close early (this snow storm amounted in trace amounts of snow that melted by the afternoon, by the way). To say I was shocked and appalled is putting it lightly. I refused to move my appointment and hung up the phone. A short time later, I called back and asked to speak to the manager. Talked about the situation with the medication and being pressured to move my appointment to an earlier time when they know my situation. The manager honestly seemed like she couldn't have cared less about me as a person, patient, and potential income source if she had tried. I called and talked to her multiple times trying to get the medication situation sorted out so I could handle going in and eventually I found out that the doctor on duty the previous day, Dr. Kim, "never" writes any scripts for anyone unless she's personally seen the patient in question so that's why I was not given the medication I was promised. I ended up having a huge panic attack and canceled my appointment. I feel like my needs as someone with anxiety, PTSD, and an alternative sleep schedule were not valued at all and that if they're going to let a random doctor just decide not to provide enough anxiety medication to help a patient through the night before and day of a terrifying procedure then they shouldn't say they offer oral sedation. I have contacted their parent company, Smile Generation, with my complaint but it's been 3 weeks now with no response from them. I don't know if/when they will respond but there's honestly nothing that would ever make me go to the Fort Collins office for any reason after my experience there.

Since then, I have been scheduled for periodontal cleanings every three months at an additional cost of $53 per visit and was told I would need them for life. In late 2024, one hygienist told me I no longer showed any signs of periodontal disease and that I could return to regular cleanings every six months. However, at my next appointment, a different hygienist insisted that no such update had been given. At my most recent visit, I was again told I needed lifelong periodontal cleanings and would continue to be charged the extra fee. The office appeared very disorganized: after my teeth were polished, I waited more than 30 minutes with no communication. Because they were so far behind, the dentist eventually completed the cleaning, confirmed that my teeth and gums looked healthy, and, when asked, stated that what he performed was a regular cleaning, not a periodontal cleaning. When I questioned the additional $53 charge, he referred me to the front desk. The staff member at the front desk insisted I had received a periodontal cleaning. After speaking with the dentist, she returned saying he had "misspoken," but waived the fee for that day due to the confusion. She further stated that I would be charged $53 for all future visits. Given the inconsistent clinical information, lack of communication, and unclear billing practices, I will not be returning to this office.

Since they've gone corporate everything has changed for the worse. My favorite hygienists have left after a long tenure. You never know who you're going to get at your next appointment. I still really like Dr. Ferrara., but my family has been passed all around without notice and without good experiences. Today my husband was in for his 6 month appointment and waited over 20 mins after his cleaning to see a doctor, but the hygienist said the doctor was busy so he had to leave without being seen. When he came home afterwards he had makeup transfer on the shoulder of his dress shirt. I'm considering changing dentists after all these years and so many recommendations I've given. It's no longer the same and very disappointing.

Since then I have received a harassing phone call and a letter threatening my credit if I didn't immediately make a payment. It is quite obvious their office staff is incompetent: not billing insurance in a timely manner, sending a large bill from a services rendered during the past three years, expecting immediate payment and even after the patient called to arrange payment they are still incapable of making appropriate annotations. We've since moved to another dentist's office.
