He was fun and witty but also made sure we were well educated on post operative care and the overall procedure. Come the day of procedure, the staff came and gave me updates throughout my wife's procedure letting me know she was ok and responding well to the sedation. They even gave her a water bottle with no straw! (Thank god cause we only own a hydroflask and straws are a no no) and a free 16 oz smoothie. I mean could this place get any better? It does! She later had dry socket on the weekend when the office is closed and Dr. Gresehover responded right away and saw her immediately to apply medication to help with pain.

I was experiencing intense dental pain the likes I'd never experienced before so my spouse called on October 9th to try to get me in because we figured it was my wisdom teeth and we were told that they would be flexible about the sedation they'd require (I am EXTREMELY phobic of IVs and just the thought of being awake while one is inserted makes my heart race). The scheduling person said "next Thursday," which we assumed meant the 17th. Called on the 16th to make sure the x-rays we sent in went through and to ask a couple questions. The appointment was actually for "Thursday the 23rd." If you look at your calendar, October 2019 didn't have a Thursday the 23rd. After a lot of confusion, we were able to figure out it was for Wednesday the 23rd. And they changed the time on me too, making it over two hours earlier than I was originally told. I've only been to one dentist before this and it was a complete nightmare so I was very anxious, bordering on panic, but the dental assistant who we talked to for quite a long time really made me feel better. She was incredibly reassuring and laid all of my fears to rest. Even their little informational video you have to watch didn't scare me off because she just made me feel so much better. I was ready to schedule. Then Dr. Reynolds walked in and emotionally kicked me in the stomach. They don't do "breathe downs" in office, wouldn't answer when I asked why, wouldn't explain why I "need" an IV beyond the "position" of my teeth. He said they could do a "breathe down" at the hospital but he made it very clear he wouldn't be happy to do it. I was told that they could give me Valium to calm me down for the IV insertion and when I said Valium hasn't helped me AT ALL in the past, he just shut down the option without even asking if anything else has a history of helping. He just really made me feel like he thought I was a bothersome child and that he was trying to dictate how to handle my health and my body. Edit to Add: Dr. Reynolds asked to put a tourniquet on me to look at the veins in my forearms (this was before I realized he was talking about doing this with me fully aware) because I have a medical condition that makes having needles in my joints/hands extremely problematic. He put the band right across the middle of my elbow joints, even after I explained that having my joints messed with causes me excruciating pain. People who know about such things have told me that's definitely not where you're ever supposed to tie off to get veins to pop because joints cannot compress properly. It was extremely painful while he was doing it but I gritted my teeth to get through it because the rest of the awfulness hadn't happened yet. I experienced numbness and pain in my arms and hands for the next 36 hours due to this. [end of edit] I did not finish the consultation and left in tears. My dad also had a negative experience with Dr. Reynolds in July but I was hopeful that his experience was a fluke. Apparently, it was not because the things he said about Dr. Reynolds' attitude was exactly how I was treated as well. I've never had any dental anything done (I had an exam that left me in severe pain 4 years ago and a couple wisdom teeth consultations within the last 4 years but nothing else) and I have medical PTSD which made the thought of getting it fixed terrifying. I originally was going to have my tooth repaired at the Loveland office by Dr. Gomez on March 21st but there was an issue and I had to reschedule; the soonest I could get in was April 4th at the Fort Collins office. I was really nervous about it because my spouse had a good experience in Loveland and the change in venue made my anxiety bad but I wanted to see Dr. Gomez and it was see him two weeks later in Fort Collins or wait several weeks to get in with the Loveland office. Since it's a broken tooth I decided to get in faster. Communication with the Fort Collins office from the start was much worse than I experienced with the Loveland office. There were longer delays in getting answers and questions had to be asked repeatedly, with different answers being given each time. I was told that they would have no problems prescribing me a benzo to help with my severe, crippling anxiety to help me sleep the night before and get through the procedure. Their website says they do sedation including oral sedation. April 3rd came and they hadn't called it in. I was anxious and couldn't sleep because I had this procedure looming that felt like I was going to die if I got it done because my anxiety was so out of control. They finally called around 10am on April 4th. I'm a day sleeper, they were told from the start that I 100% must have the latest possible appointment because even then I'll be getting up at least 2 hours earlier than normal to make it in time. I hadn't really been able to sleep yet. I thought maybe they were calling to tell me they finally called in the medication for my anxiety. No. They were calling because it was snowing lightly and there was barely a dusting of snow so they wanted to move appointments earlier so they could close early (this snow storm amounted in trace amounts of snow that melted by the afternoon, by the way). To say I was shocked and appalled is putting it lightly. I refused to move my appointment and hung up the phone. A short time later, I called back and asked to speak to the manager. Talked about the situation with the medication and being pressured to move my appointment to an earlier time when they know my situation. The manager honestly seemed like she couldn't have cared less about me as a person, patient, and potential income source if she had tried. I called and talked to her multiple times trying to get the medication situation sorted out so I could handle going in and eventually I found out that the doctor on duty the previous day, Dr. Kim, "never" writes any scripts for anyone unless she's personally seen the patient in question so that's why I was not given the medication I was promised. I ended up having a huge panic attack and canceled my appointment. I feel like my needs as someone with anxiety, PTSD, and an alternative sleep schedule were not valued at all and that if they're going to let a random doctor just decide not to provide enough anxiety medication to help a patient through the night before and day of a terrifying procedure then they shouldn't say they offer oral sedation. I have contacted their parent company, Smile Generation, with my complaint but it's been 3 weeks now with no response from them. I don't know if/when they will respond but there's honestly nothing that would ever make me go to the Fort Collins office for any reason after my experience there.

I was able to schedule quickly, even without it being an emergency, and am already on the rode to recovery. They provided helpful advice and answered all questions from myself and my caretaker after surgery. Surgeon Mike was even so kind enough to stop in the office Friday evening to just double check how the healing was going before the long weekend to reduce any concern and worry we had. He comes in and checks me out after I get X-rays and proceeds to tell me that I have moderate Periodontal disease, gingivitis, and 4 cavities,and some pretty significant bone loss in my jaw. And he told me that when he was testing what condition my gums were in. And I quote " you bled like the proverbial stuffed pig" end quote! So then he tells me that he can't clean my teeth because they are SO BAD that I need to have the antiseptic cleaning. (Keep in mind my month isn't bothering me in anyway) so then he keeps telling me about the antiseptic cleaning, it's a 2 hour visit that they will numb my mouth because the tarter build up is so significant that it would hurt me to bad to not have numbing. He said I need one appointment for each side of my month. I said wow, can you show all this tarter ? Because my teeth feel smooth and nothing in my mouth is bothering me, I take really good care of my teeth! I'm 35 and have only had 1 cavity my whole life! So he pulled up the X-rays and starting scanning them and says "well I can't seem to find it on your X-rays but it is a significant amount and I will show you on your X-rays when you come in for the Antiseptic cleaning" And he only was able to point out 2 cavities out of the 4 he said I had. Which I hadn't even noticed in my mouth. That's how tiny they are. So I went out to pay for nothing cause that's what they did. Besides take X-rays. And the lady at the front desk was like "that's $430.00" I was like WHY? They didn't even do anything?!? She said "they didn't?" I said NO! Then she went back and talked to Dr Ruff and he told her that I didn't get the cleaning and that I need to make more appointments for the 2 cleanings. I paid them a ridiculous $302.00 to look in my mouth and take X-rays. I did not make any follow up appointments because he would have just took all my money and told me I need more and more stuff done. Scammer! Follow up... I went to my regular dentist and had X-rays and got my teeth cleaned and he NEVER said anything about all that bad crap Dr Ruff was saying I had. After a procedure, he will call you after his work day is done just to check on how you're feeling. I should say - all his dental techs and the front office are wonderful to talk to as well - they make the whole process easy and pleasant, even if you half of your face is fully immobilized with novocaine.
