Highly recommended testing center…read more Today, I had my warm up session followed up by driving test. The whole experience was very smooth and informative too. The instructor gave me exact pointers where I need to work more. In the past, I had a pathetic experience in one of the other driving licensing center. Therefore, I was having very low expectations but the whole session definitely surprised me in a good way.

The zoom link for classes rarely worked properly, always routing my son to register again. The time…read morespent to try to access the class was incredible frustrating each day. They are very strict on the start time (which I appreciate), but that means links need to work properly. Also, my son was sick, very sick, and we had to pay $89 cancellation fee for his driving lesson. Again, I know there are policies, but when a child is sick there is no grace or compassion. This is all business. I do not recommend this company for the above two reasons. I amount of time I had to take off work to email with issues about accessing the court, or micromanage the course itself is ridiculous. For $800+ accessing zoom should be simple, recording attendance should be easy and if a child is sick, there should be one reschedule that is allowed. I genuinely don't leave bad reviews unless I truly feel as though the service was not acceptable and in this case, I feel this deeply. My drivers ed experience was amazing as a kid. It was empowering and exciting. My kid has had nothing but frustration since enrolling. 0 stars.

I have gotten my driver's license a few years ago in CA and have been driving in WA with my CA…read morelicense until it expired. I forgot to change my CA license to WA license, thus I need to retake a driving test in WA. I took a 30min warm-up lesson and passed the driving test today! I have previously done warm-up + test at a different driving school and failed, so I think I can provide some comparisons between the two experiences. Though I might be biased due to the different results, but I will try to be as impartial as possible. Jason, the owner and instructor at Street Law Driving School, was completely honest and up-front with me. During the warm-up, there was a stop sign where I did not come to a full stop and Jason told me in a test that would have disqualified me so that I can pay attention to that in the test. Also Jason helped me to improve in the back-maneuvering and parallel parking, the two sections that I got points of in my previous test. He gave simple but clear instructions on the steps I needed to take to perform those two tasks and asked me to repeat a few times until I have them nailed down all by myself. At the driving school where I took my previous test, the instructor simply went over the steps as if quoting out of an instruction manual without providing any feedbacks on what I did wrong, then took off points during the test. After the test, Jason went over the points that I missed in detail to make sure I actually have them remembered for my own safety. All of the points Jason took off make sense in the hindsight and are clearly explained. Whereas, in my previous test, the examiner just flat-out refused to provide any explanation for the points taken off and told me I'm a hazard to the road. I highly recommend Street Law Driving School to anyone, especially people who are in similar situation as I do. Jason holds the same standard as any examiner is expected to do, but at the same time, he also shows great compassion and wants to ensure the success of his students for their own safety, whereas, I find many other big-name driving schools mostly care about how to sell you more classes. Just for that alone, Jason and Street Law Driving School deserve all my recommendations.

I recommend this school to anyone seeking to get their drivers license. Communicates well, he's an authorized testing center, great prices and works with your schedule! I just finished the FEWD part-time course at GA Seattle and had a great experience! I love…read moreeverything about the community. Everyone is very helpful and open to sharing their experiences. The atmosphere is energetic and "neatly appointed", to boot (the Brooklyn, NY wallpaper in the bathroom stalls is always fun). I am a graphic designer who wanted to get Front End Development skills. I checked out other Seattle locations as well as online courses and GA just made sense for me. This FEWD course focused specifically on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. As a designer who was skeptical about learning code, I only wanted to focus on these three languages as a way to introduce myself to the world of code. I also have tried online courses only to be distracted while taking them. I figured being accountable to show up for a class two times a week for 10 weeks was the perfect way to go for me. My instructors (you get two!) were VERY knowledgable AND passionate about what they do. You could ask them anything and they knew the answer. They were very generous with their time and answering questions outside of class as well as during. I can't recommend Steve Minor and Noah Collins enough. One caveat - as a designer whose brain is less wired for code than it is for design, this class moves FAST. Be prepared to put in a lot of time outside of class. It was clear to me that General Assembly is heavily invested in their community and making sure their students get the most out of their experience. Also, they provide a TON of info sessions, workshops, bootcamps - they have a lot to choose from if you are looking to get involved in the tech community and the Seattle community in general. Check it out!
