She clearly communicated her expertise and when our questions drifted to the actual execution of the work, she would always say "that is for the contractor to decide". While some may think this response abrupt or uncaring, Linda is clear in what she does (design) and does not do (installation). We did end up tweaking some design elements to lower installation cost but overall followed her plan. Even when we asked for different plants after her main design was completed, she helped us out at no additional cost. It was a good learning experience for us and we are happy with the final result. Thanks Linda for your great service!

Linda's design process from beginning to end is extremely effective! It involved friendly communication and relationship-building to ensure we provided her with our plant interests and overall desired garden outcome that helped her with designing our front yard. Linda's expertise in plant knowledge and garden design resulted in a drafted plan that was very detailed and informative. In addition, Linda's contractor referrals helped to seamlessly complete the project process. About six years ago, we had our front yard transitioned from lawn to drought-tolerant plants, but it hadn't been thriving. With Linda's help, we were able to keep the healthier plants and incorporate their place in the yard into Linda's plan. We appreciated that as well as her suggestion to transplant many of the existing plants that didn't really fit the front yard's plan to the backyard area where they can still be enjoyed. Linda's gardening love and enthusiasm is infectious! With our newly completed front yard and improved backyard, I'm looking forward to increasing my own gardening skills and enjoying the therapeutic benefits it can provide.

Another team will be by later on to stain the fence for longer life. I opened a request for quotes here on Yelp and not only was Erick the first to respond but he was also the first to come take a look at the project to give me a quote. I received quotes from several companies and Erick came in with an exceptionally good value for the level and amount of work that needed to be done. The scope of work involved the following: - Removal and disassembly of the existing wall - Digging down below for a new base - Adding a concrete base complete with piers and rebar for reinforcement - Dig back the hill behind the wall and remove excess dirt - Install a new French drain and repair any other drainage issues - Raise gravel up to the height of the wall to allow for better drainage - install a new vapor and weed barrier behind the wall - Add an additional row of blocks to raise the height of the wall - Repair of gate and fence post that was damaged by the old wall failing I've attached pictures for just how much work was done with before and after. First and foremost, Erick is very obviously a perfectionist and his attention to detail was a wonderful breath of fresh air. Both Erick and his team have an exceptional work ethic. In a period of 4 days (3 of which were rain days) he completed all of the work and went above and beyond to make sure everything looked and worked correctly. If you have a project that involves a retaining wall, a fence, landscaping or building of an outdoor structure, I would highly recommend Erick to you. He works fast, is on time, on budget and the quality of work far exceeds expectations. Thank you Erick and team!

I found Erick through a coworker who couldn't stop gushing about his work. I need a new fence, and…read moreErick's estimate came in better than my usual guy. I decided to hold off now, but hired Erick to wash and stain my fence. They were quite meticulous with their work. Despite trying their best to cover everything, stain did get where it wasn't wanted, but I can't fault them too much. But Erick made it a point to call out his mistakes and cleaned up what he could. I liked the job he did and actually had him come back a few days later to replace a couple of broken bricks in my outdoor fireplace. I'd hire him again for any job I needed outside, and may eventually get him to replace the fence.

After…read moreweeks of searching, I found Cyn at YesPlease.Garden, and hiring her was one of the best decisions we made. From the start, the entire process was organized, efficient, and professional. Cyn took the time to understand not just what we wanted, but the feeling we wanted our outdoor living space to have. Her weekly updates kept us informed, and she was incredibly patient, explaining design choices, offering alternatives, and helping us make confident decisions. The 3D renderings were a game changer. They helped us visualize the finished project before construction began, and the final design perfectly balanced beauty and function. Every inch of our yard was thoughtfully planned, from traffic flow to native plants that will thrive, creating the peaceful, Zen-inspired space we had envisioned. Cyn's guidance during contractor selection was invaluable. She gave us the tools to evaluate bids with confidence. We ultimately hired Landscape Experts, and watching the designer and contractor work together made it clear how much value that partnership brings. I originally thought I could manage the contractor oversight myself, but I quickly realized the questions that come up during construction required a designer's expertise. Hiring Cyn for installation oversight was worth every penny. Our backyard turned out exactly as we envisioned, and we absolutely love our new outdoor living space. If you're planning a landscape renovation, I can't recommend Cyn highly enough. Her creativity, professionalism, communication, and attention to detail made all the difference. You'll be glad you hired her.

From our first meeting, she listened carefully to our ideas, understood the feeling we wanted for both the front and back yard, and turned those early thoughts into a thoughtful, beautiful design that fit our budget and aesthetic. She kept the project moving forward, checked in often, and worked closely with the installer to make sure every element was done right. Her ability to manage the many moving parts of the project gave us confidence from start to finish. She also has a remarkable eye for detail, from plant and boulder selection to the overall flow and balance of the space. Just as importantly, she truly listened to our feedback and incorporated it in ways that made the final result feel personal and exactly right for us. Even after installation, Cyn continued to follow through, returning to check on the plants and helping us replace those that had not made it through the season. Do not use this company unless you want nothing but problems. We ordered a gate and my contractor…read morehad a construction schedule put together that was passed on to Morgan's. There was a pre-construction meeting and dates again were discussed a week before start of construction. The gates were going to be installed in 3 - 4 weeks. Dean told us he wasn't sure he could do the 3 weeks but could do 4. The gates ended up going in almost 11 weeks later 7 weeks behind schedule. The worst part was the communication, on every occasion we had to reach out to Dean and say so we are good for Monday the date Dean provided, to be told oh no we are delayed two weeks and given a new date and told it was the iron company's fault. Then again two weeks later no contact so we reach out, good for tomorrow... no delayed two more weeks because of the powder coating. Then two weeks after that same excuse, the powder coater. Not once did Dean initiate the conversations. We had to stop dealing with Dean because he would not return calls so the owner Bob said to contact him directly and he would take care of things. After almost canceling the gates, they were installed almost two months late. We had a bunch of problems with the install from an opener being installed not level and we had to point it out. Then the same opener wouldn't function correctly and the gate never shut the same every time. They finally replaced the motor and it shut correctly. One month later the hinge pin on one of the gates broke so they had to come out again and replace the hinges. Now the gate is not level and still really doesn't shut correctly. The owner Bob came out for a second time 3 weeks ago because when they installed the new hinges the gate is not level, I also showed him a board that I looked down at and was split. I expressed my frustration with the communication through the whole process again with him and he said I'll have Dean come out and check the level and replace the board. After looking at the gate there are multiple boards split from not pre-drilling the holes .... guess what no call... no show for over 3 weeks. Sad way to do business, gate still not level, doesn't shut flush and multiple split boards.
