Handfuls of flowers were stuffed into the mason jars that we provided. The stems were not cut to make the flowers even, the leaves were left in the bottom of the jars making the water cloudy, there was no care in making an actual centerpiece. Furthermore, we ordered 12 centerpieces. We were given 11 and told there were not enough flowers to make 12. After taking the centerpieces apart and arranging them ourselves we were able to make 12 centerpieces, 1 arrangement to place on the bar, and one arrangement for our table at home. If any effort or care was taken in making an arrangement the florist could have done the same. In the end everything worked out and we got a lot of compliments on the centerpieces we made. My advice to anyone using McMasters Florist is to think twice or just buy the flowers and do it yourself.

Honestly, ShopRite flowers look more professional and cared for than this mess. I ended up having to completely redo the bouquet myself at home and go buy extra filler because they clearly couldn't be bothered to do the bare minimum for such an important occasion. When I walked into the church, the first thing I said was how sparce the arrangment looked. She had the arrangement quite a bit higher than the urn, but did not fill in with flowers. She used white roses, which had a green tint. According to her that was because of the species of the rose. Four days later, three of the roses rotted at their base and fell of the stems. The blue delphinium had some blooms, but alot of stringy areas with buds, but no blooms. The arrangement did not look at all like the picture.

It was appropriate to expect the gift bag would not be black which represents death and Halloween to most people. There are no "bear" dimensions on the site to check. Last time we ordered a stuffed animal it was 3x the size. Saying "You should have checked on the website" is not a reasonable response. A more thoughtful answer could have been, "Sorry you were disappointed. We will put measurements up on our website for others in the future." That would have been a classy answer. If I had not followed up and checked on the delivery, out gift would have stayed at the wrong hospital overnight. The driver should have double-checked when misdirected. Without my check-in call, those flowers would still have never arrived. A no-brainer to follow through when given a specific address and room number. We looked at the photos of other flower companies and also of order we've been happy with before. For 50 dollars less, more flowers and a pretty vase were always the norm. We have the right to be disappointed and state so. With so many positive reviews for this venue, it's beyond shocking this store owner would actually PHONE my son. He did not pay for this order.
