A short google search later, we found Daisy Field Farms and spoke to the owner who was kind enough to find us a slot that matched our schedule. We even got 20mins late while getting there because our GPS totally screwed us over, but they were kind enough to wait and immediately got us horses when we got there. I got Stella who was a beautiful big horse, strong and obedient. We trotted with our horses in a single file over a small hill/mountain. I don't know what to call it, only trust me when I say this IT WAS BEAUTIFUL. The farm looks like it's come out of the pages of an adorable old school english farm illustration. There are wagons here and there, Dumbo the dog is super friendly, there are goats you can feed, and rabbits too. During the one hour ride, you're taken up and down and around a mountain, through forests and fields and by small lakes. It was a gorgeous day when we went and everything looked 10times prettier. The couple who run this place are super nice and the horses look very well taken care of. Summer vacations are on and their three adorable little grandsons were helping around the farm too. I was positively jealous and swear I never wanted to leave. I'll be back again for sure, this place just made me so so happy!

Luckily the rain time shifted and we arrived 20 minutes before our appointment for 3pm to sign waivers. We took pics with the horses that were there and we had time to pet them. I pet mouse the entire time and when we were assigned horses, my husband said i wanted mouse. I recommend not picking your own horse & just having a horse be assigned to you. The workers know the horses best. Mouse is on the slower side but I still enjoyed my time on him. They know which horse hasn't been out yet, has more energy for the ride, etc. All the horses did a great job and they're friendly. At the end of the ride, mouse turned around to look at me while I was still on him. He's so funny... I guess he wanted to see who kept talking him. On the ride we saw turkeys and deer. The equine care is bar none. Everyone is responsive and respectful. You could not ask for happier or healthier animal care. The barn and grounds are immaculate. The owner and staff are amazing. If your looking for lessons. Again amazing staff. Amazing owner. If you can't walk they will make sure you can ride. The best lesson horses I've been around. They will all teach you more than you can possibly learn anywhere else. Trail Rides are also great never a complaint there. Just her and her parents. Her birthday was in August. Her Mom called the stables 15 times with no return call. I called and left a msg and sent an email. No response... Then they finally picked up the phone. What a fiasco!!! Rachel answered she stated they were all out of Groupon reservations. How could that be, I had the certificate. They just would not honor it. I quess only cash reservations were allowed at this time. When I told her we tried to contact them over 15× she called me a liar! She was extremely rude yelled at me and told me my issues were with Groupon where my money was!!! The most unprofessional individual I have delt with in a business. Run do not walk away. There are plenty more options of where to do business in the Beautiful Pocono Region.
