Very disappointing experience…read more From the start, the person in charge came across as extremely intense, which in hindsight should have been a red flag. When we arrived, we were surprised by how small the facility actually is. It was clean, but the enclosures were very small--much smaller than we expected. We were hesitant but decided to proceed, thinking our girl would be okay. Unfortunately, we were wrong. When we picked her up, she was visibly distressed--shaking with anxiety or fear--and had several abrasions. It's unclear whether they came from the metal enclosure or another dog, but either way, they were concerning. She continued shaking for two days, to the point that we had to take her to the vet for medication just to help her calm down. She also came home extremely hungry, as if she hadn't eaten in quite some time. Whether she refused to eat or wasn't fed properly, we should have been notified immediately. Overall, this was a deeply upsetting experience for our dog and for us. We will not be returning.

She was quick to respond, very detailed and helpful over the phone. We did not have time to do a meet and greet, but I felt confident all would be fine. She came to my house and made two separate trips: one with my larger dog (40lbs) and his kennel, and had to make a second trip because my small dog (12lbs) would not go with her initially and refused to let her catch her. But the second time, with the help of a neighbor, Anne was able to get Pumpkin in her kennel and take her to her house. Anne let me know all what was going on the whole time, but that she was going to get Pumpkin to her house no matter what. Once the pups were reunited all was well and Anne sent photos and texts to let me know how the play date was going. Anne has a pug who likes to play as much as my two- so needless to say, they were all pretty tired the next day. I will definitely be using her services again and plan to take my pups for doggie daycare while I am at work so they can play all day.

Amidst all the crazy planning though, I put pet transportation off until right before the weekend, and consequently really struggled with finding someone who could work with us so last minute! It took some work for Ann, but she arranged for Kim to meet us at the venue and take our pup home right after the ceremony. Kim not only safely got our dog back home late in the evening, but did it with minimal direction (I was going crazy and did not give her details!), treated our wedding guests very kindly during the handoff, and even managed to calm our dog (who was alarmed at our large crowd of guests!). To top it off, we came home to a bottle of champagne and a sweet letter from Kim and Salty Paws! What a surprise! It's a shame we don't live in Pensacola, but If we ever travel there on vacation, we will certainly contact them again! Save yourself the headache, heartache, and MONEY!!…read more If I could give 0 stars I would!Summer 2023, we are in the middle of another big move from Maryland to Hawaii due to active duty orders. About a week before my family flew out to head to Hawaii, we were made aware of a heat embargo and nowhere within a 12-15 hour drive were flying pets due to the heat. We did some research on pet transporter companies and came across Critter Getter Pet Transportation, we chatted back and forth for a few days. The owner of the company, Aireal, sent over a contract and informed us that she would need more money up front than what she would usually charge because of having to book flights, and we thought that was totally understandable. She provided screen shots of flight costs/itinerary and told us that she could get our dog out to Hawaii for $1800. Fast forward a few weeks (mid August 2023), we needed some paperwork to be filled out for the health certificate and she was super dodgy and always provided some type of excuse. We had an appointment for a required health certificate that our dog, Dakota, needed and after several attempts of trying to get in contact with her to make sure we were still on for the flight, she finally responded that "something had come up and she would call me the next day." When we asked her if we should keep the appointment for the following day, (certificate is good for 10 days) she never responded. After not hearing anything back from her, later that evening I informed her that we were going to have to cancel our plans with her altogether. Over the last two weeks we have asked for a refund of our money, and it is one excuse after another (if she even responds at all).  She has stated that she can't get reimbursed for the tickets she bought because they were nonrefundable, however she was the one who stated we had to change plans. She has never provided an actual receipt for the tickets purchased. She claims that we got scared and backed out, but she was the one that had to make the initial change, and then not follow up with any details. This is our family dog, not a purse or something that you can just make last minute arrangements for. She has told us numerous times that she has to do the math to figure out what she can refund us, but we have yet to receive any type of refund, or any attempt to provide any type of documentation showing where she has made any purchases with the money provided. I know this is a novel, and thank you for sticking around but I want to let you know that these types of people are out there! And they will prey on you. $1800 is not the end of the world. And we will eventually be able to make up for this loss. We are now out $1800, plus now we have to pay out of pocket expenses to where there is not a heat embargo. Hotel, rental car, gas, and my plane ticket, and the ticket for Dakota to fly in cargo hold. Please please please. Be wary of Critter Getter Pet Transportation, and any other company that she owns.

I had to make other shipping arrangment and when I asked for a refund, I was sent a reciept that it was paid and it never came to my paypal account my secound attempt to collect i was sent a reciept that had no name or 4 last digits. i never got my refund of 750 and now she wont answer my text.
