When it came to be seen, my puppy was unsure of nurse so he started barking. Even though he would start to calm down, she stated that she wouldn't try to see him without a muzzle. She didn't even try to get to know him or see his sister GSD first to build a relationship with the dogs. This did not give me the sense the medical team has a care for animals if some barking from a scared dog means a muzzle.

She simply told us that she was overweight and we needed to feed her less. We pointed out an abnormal lump in our dog's side, but she refused to even give an in-depth exam. We found out about one of our dogs' liver failure two months later, once it was past the point of repair, when we should've known much earlier, had Sandivar actually done her job. Another vet told us that we might've been able to slow down the progression of the liver failure if we'd known earlier. I am overall incredibly disappointed in Sandivar's attitude during our visit and her inability to diagnose a terminal disease.

We essentially got in the car immediately and headed over as they were able to see us very quickly. The vet tech and the vet who saw us were absolutely wonderful. The issue was quickly identified and the vet took the time to answer all of our questions. As we had never been to him before he did an examination of our dog to check him out. We left with steroids for our dog and only paid around $51. Pretty decent for a last minute visit on a Saturday. The office and waiting area is nice and clean as was the examination room we were seen in. Very nice people, attentive service, and decent prices. A great experience all around!

I called D'Iberville Veterinary Hospital on Thursday and had my dog in the next day for her shots so she could participate in the Krewe of Barkloxi's Mardi Gras Pawrade. The staff was openly compassionate with my dog and still she was quite nervous. I wish they had some treats because that would have calmed her down quickly (she loves to eat). That, and the relatively undecorated room compared to what I'm used to, are the only negatives. The service was great and the cost was less than I'm used to. I can deal with bringing my own treats next time, and there will definitely be a next time. D'Iberville Veterinary Hospital is where I will be taking my dog(s)!
