Dr Sutton and staff are the sweetest/nicest veterinarian ever! Dr Sutton is very smart, and my cat/baby, muffin, "@isawmuffincat" on Instagram, is not the healthiest senior Devon Rex cat, but Dr Sutton has been able to help Muffin so many times! We have been to many vets, including cat speciality vets, and by far Beachview vet is the best. Being so kind, they make the vet Fear free, with Pheromones in the air, treats, and every procedure done with comfort in mind (muffin took a shot so easily! and had a blood pressure taken with ease!) I am so glad the vet at keesler af base recommend Dr Sutton! In addition, they own a local pet ER so in case muffin has an emergency we can go there and they will be aware of her past medical history. The staff has been able to work with my schedule and are very accommodating! You can tell Dr Sutton genuinely loves making animals feel better and I am so glad I found him and his amazing staff! Muffin gives Dr Sutton 5 stars as well! read more

Appt time was 10:45. Time is now 11:33 and I've been informed that there was still another person in front of me. When I arrived one person was in the dog lobby, cat lobby was empty. Since I've been here 4 more dogs have arrived all of which were seen before my cat. My pet unexpectedly had to be laid to rest. Doc had a hard time communicating with me through my tears however Christina was phenomenal. Rest in Heaven Apollo read more

We have been taking our dogs here for five years. Dr. Sutton and his staff are extremely caring and considerate. They care deeply about animals. The clinic is small, and the waiting room can get kind of crazy, but it's worth it for the high-quality care and affordable rates. read more

We have a new veterinarian! Our Doberman was very chill in the waiting area and during his appointment. The vet tech was very capable and helpful. The veterinarian is a Doberman owner too! So nice to take our dobie with his nuclear power and speed to someone who experiences the same crazy! read more

My first time there with my cat to get his nails trimmed. He is very aggressive with biting and scratching. The tech was so sweet and gentle just reached in his carrier and got him out. Used a calming spray on a blanket and he purred the whole time! Loved the staff and will definitely go back. They even gave kitty a treat bag. The cost was so reasonable. Lovely staff read more

I took my dog to them to receive Cortisone shots for his arthritis on his hind legs. The shots really help him. Before the second shot, the vet insisted on a check up. The check up consisted of pulling some hairs out of my dogs ears and then his next Cortisone shot. No heart check. Lasted 5 mins and was charged $110 dollars for that. By next Saturday, my dog was suffering terribly, lost all strength in his little body. Alarmed, I called the clinic and left an urgent VM hoping and praying for a call. No call ever came. Early Monday AM my poor little dog passed away in our arms. Later that day, I called the clinic to cancel his next scheduled shot in April and mentioned why. When I told them that I left a VM for them asking for help, the receptionist was completely unaware and apologetic. A lot of good that did for my companion pet! My heart is broken. read more

I notice from reading the reviews on this subject most comments are positive. My thoughts are of all these comments how many are from people of color. My experience was different, maybe because of that fact. I was a client of Dr. Sutton for years because I had many dogs (5) and they would be brought there for various reasons that my primary vet at the west end vet couldn't perform. Recently I bought my senior dog Gabriel to Beach View Veterinary Clinic because he has a large cyst on his paw and several skin tags on his rear. I had another one of my dogs who had the same problem so I knew what the probable cost would be. Be as I waited, I noticed how everyone else (who was white) was being treated. The staff was courteous, kind and polite except when it came to my turn things seemed to slightly change. Now I have witnessed racism during my lifetime in all its many forms. But never really could believe it could pertain to a vets office because of their commitment toward animals who have no race. When the doctor examined Gabriel I thought that this would be routine and the cost would be around 3 or $400 because as I said I had a dog treated there before. So Gabreil had a total of 6-7 small skin tags and one large cyst. The cost was $800 or more. I couldn't believe it. The question to me, is this the new racism as it applies to black pet owners. You hike the prices so high that responsible minority pet owners can't afford to care for their pets. I refuse to believe that this is the norm now so Im looking for a new vet that could help. If you are minority( regardless of your race) and have a similar story write it in the comments, if not maybe it's just a singular case. But whatever the reason my dog shouldn't have to suffer for my race. read more

We have rescued bull terriers for decades and gone to dozens of vet docs ,from Wisconsin to Ecuador and Mississippi, Doctor Sutton is THE VERY BEST ,I'd wait half a day or more to have him see our dogs.no problem. Our retriever is 72 pounds Another vet sent him home with our Chihuahua , could NOT cut their nails /too aggressive to risk They gang up when together. The young lady assisting Dr Sutton ;literally lay on the floor ,wrapped around the belligerent spoiled brat, who was determined to be uncooperative ,as doctor Sutton,on the floor too, cut his nails,in a matter of seconds All the while, whispering kindly and reassuring, our alpha boy "NO NO NO"and our neurotic co dependent worst dog we've ever had but improving ,became completely submissive under Dr Sutton's spell It was amazing,I wish I'd filmed it. it was hilarious A week before, we took our 17 yo bull terrier ,Daphne, who is terminal with cancer.and he was wonderful with her too.The staff are super nice , said" when they are away from their parents they are better "I thought ,NOT THIS BOY,He's an emotional wreck read more

Dr. Jeff and Dr. Jennifer Sutton take excellent care of our Standard Poodle, Marcello. He loves to visit the office because of the "fear free" environment. The Suttons load him up with yummy treats every time we visit. This is a great office to use for your annual check ups and vaccinations. I like the fact that they own the Gulf Coast Veterinary Emergency Hospital. If there is ever a need for more specialized equipment, the resources are there. Both of the doctors are constantly expanding their skills and knowledge in the field of animal medicine. Marcello had his "bags unpacked" recently by Dr. Jeff. The surgery went great with no complications. I was called after he woke up from anesthesia. They wanted to let me know that he was doing fine. If you need to have your dog or cat spayed or neutered, I strongly suggest making an appointment at Beach View. There is so much attention to detail, for example, Marcello has his own ID card with all of his vaccinations listed. This is great for travel! read more

TODAY ,of course being Sunday ,our 2yo retriever was in bad shape, we discovered in the middle of the night ,leaking blood ,looked like he was at death's door It is almost impossible to find anywhere open ,so we were in a state of high anxiety Dr Sutton's hospital for emergencies was packed when we got there early this morning (one lady thought her dog had maybe swallowed a hearing aid) Our dog had swallowed a large rock and something else,it showed on the Xray He is presently awaiting surgery When we got there they were finishing a surgery EXTREMELY BUSY /The lady who answered the phone was super great VERY VERY kind and professional The doctor said they might not operate on our boy ,until midnight but he'd give me a call when done, was it OK to call in the middle of the night? I kid you not .I was delighted ,my heavens The Sutton docs are my go to place from now on I had called a vet in Diamond head, who recommended the Sutton docs (Jennifer and Jeff)We have FOUR dogs ,ALL rescued ALL the loves of our life and a very sad looking bank account Thank you Dr Jeff , much love ,The Enders ,Bay St Louis read more

The most amazing place all the people are so kind and make you feel like family from the first time you visit. The whole staff are very knowledgeable and always go the extra mile. You immediately feel their love for animals when you walk through the door . A special kudo for Ms Ethyl I just had shoulder surgery less than a week ago. I called her about meds for one of our dogs. Told her about my surgery and not being able to drive . We live in West Gulfport and they are in Biloxi. She didn't hesitate for a second she brought the meds to my front door the next day . Wow did I mention it was her day off I was BLOWN away. read more

FOUR! visits to Bienville this week. Two for annual shots and the other two for issues. I am so thankful to Dr. Lavigne for helping with my Charbon's digestive issues and Dr. Church for Grey-C ear issues. And a special thanks to Crystal, Dr. Church's tech for dealing with my semi feral Grey-C. This is the highest level of service from the moment in the door with the front desk help to the Dr.s and techs. read more

I wish I could write a review about this clinic based on service, but I couldn't even get that. I have a new puppy who needs to be spayed. I called Beach View Vet clinic, and asking this simple question was interrupted by over eight minutes of me being on hold. I was put on hold four separate times, before being hung up on (which I am sure was an accident); I called back to inform the receptionist that I would be searching elsewhere for my puppy's procedure. The receptionist made me feel like my potential business was not important, and I will continue to search for another clinic who will be willing to assist my new family member. Thanks for the less than impressive welcome to the area. read more

They have seen two of my dogs so far and each time they treat them with love and care. They have really honest prices, too.

Dr Sutton is the best vet in Biloxi in my opion. My 1 year old lab ate the knot off of a rope toy. Needless to say it did not pass. Blue would not eat or drink. Dr Sutton knew what it was and gave me several options and prices. We went with surgery , which he did immediately. Very reasonable price! We had to take him back twice for some aftercare stuff...no charge. We moved to Pensacola and had the staples removed from his stomach there. The vet techs all laughed and made fun of how many staples where in Blue's stomach and they said Dr. Sutton did not know what he was doing. Well I don't know if you have ever been around a 1 year old lab, but no staples pulled and it healed amazingly. By the way the vet that made fun of Dr. Sutton did the surgery on my female lab to get her fixed and the stiches pulled out and we had to put her antibiotics. read more
