There are a number of specific cuisines that "do" pancakes really well; French crepes, yes, American buttermilk pancakes ( with maple syrup), but we'd do a gross disservice were we to forget the dosas of the Indian subcontinent, and the middle European versions, both sweet and savoury.
All can be found here, and importantly, done very well. I've never seen my eldest child look so mind-blown by food as by her stack of enormous, delicious buttermilk blueberry pancakes with maple syrup. Friendly and efficient staff; superb smoothies- also , ice cream shakes and cakes also looked very good. An unlikely location, but this place is really a hidden gem, and I don't say that often. Hands down the best pancakes I've had anywhere, except at home ( of course...!). read more
