The cafe is the cutest pink-filled basics heaven (as that's what drew most people including me in), and the afternoon tea is fine. The story below, however, was what made my experience at Peggy Porschen especially memorable... I decided within a few hours to go to London with no particular plans in mind for my first time in the city, lucked out with a last minute reservation at this very popular cafe for an impromptu birthday afternoon tea. Unexpectedly stayed till close after an amazing time with the nicest waitress who moved me to their best table at start, helped clean off sweater lint off the only nice clothes I scrappily packed for the short notice trip, patiently took so many pics of me all around the cafe's most aesthetic corners fully indulging my basic, and taught me how to properly eat a scone instead of my original brutish ways. When the waitress came to take my card near end of service, I quietly showed her a note I'd written her on my phone (tldr expressed gratitude for her kindness and for making my birthday joyful amidst a gloomy holiday season, offered to do a few things and asked which would serve her the most meaning). After reading the note, the waitress gave me a big hug which I happily accepted, then surprised me with tears streaming down her face as she told me she was actually having a really rough day till this. After she collected herself a bit and closed out the remaining customers, we chatted more in a private section and resonated on our philosophies around how we treat people. Before parting, I encouraged the young waitress (Akanksha) to please retain her precious human qualities that the world always needs more of (indirectly reminding myself the same). You never know when somebody is going through a rough time. For two strangers at Peggy Porschen on this particular day, a scrappy patron and a waitress serendipitously made each other's day a little brighter and heart feel a lot warmer. What a cute spot!!! It is the picture prefect place when you think of pink and magical tea party! We arrived a little late to our reservation due to traffic and the staff was extremely accommodating and so understanding! The whole set off works more little a team so there is always someone available if you need anything for want to order more! We went around brunch time and their menu is not only resonantly priced, but they had so many options!! Everything we tired was delicious and so fresh! The sweets are also ADORABLE and look like they could cost hundreds tons, but they are so affordable and decadent! It's on a well populated streets and easy to find too so that was wonderful! Decor here is unmatched. Every detail is accounted for and and every picture you take looks perfect so you know it's a great selfie spot!! If pink is your favorite color, then this is your new jam. Pink everything. Pink decor, pink pastries... during Christmas, they even have a pink Christmas tree. They have a surprisingly sizable menu, complete with pastry-friendly champagne and cocktails- as well as your mediocre coffee and passable tea. The most popular thing in such a girly establishment is, of course, the sweets; and let me tell you, they know their sugar. Pancakes, French Toast, cakes, other carb-loaded sugar bombs... take your pick. And, everything is Instagram-friendly from the inside-out. The prices, however, are not so pretty; in fact, I'd go so far as to say they're higher than the sugar content in these delicacies. The service is also colder than London weather in the dead of Winter. Not that I'm trying to talk you out of coming here or anything; just be prepared. Although being made to sit outside despite there clearly being a few spaces available inside made me a bit cranky, I decided to stay and try the French Toast and seasonal booze. Both were pretty darn amazing. The Gingerbread cocktail wasn't as sweet as one would expect, with a nice balance of sweetness to Christmasy spice, and a gingerbread cookie thrown in for good measure. The French Toast was also exceptionally well-balanced, and the crème brûlée brioche was torched to perfection; the top was slightly-crispy, and the inside was soft and fluffy. It comes served with a side of jam and maple syrup, and topped with fresh fruit. All of it was pretty amazing, minus the part where I was freezing to death outside and my food got unpleasantly cold in just under 3 minutes. You may have better luck, but I wouldn't recommend coming here unless you rreeeaalllyy like taking pictures of your food. Otherwise, use the storefront to take pictures of yourself outside; they have a very nice pink bike out front that makes for a lovely background. read more

I popped into here Sunday on a friends recommendation. It was quite late in the day but there were still plenty of salted caramel and popcorn cupcakes thankfully, as well as cakes. I got one cupcake, a slice of chocolate banana bread and an almond and lemon cake. Yes, each piece was way too expensive at £6.50 a pop but the packaging is so pretty! The decor is definitely meant for IG. I found the cupcake very tasty, particularly the salted caramel interior and popcorn topping. Likewise for the frosting. The cake bit thought was a bit bland. I wasn't a huge fan of the chocolate banana bread but my husband was. I thought the flavour a bit bland. I ordered the Chelsea Floral Rose tea, iced mocha, and carrot cake. The taste of the rose tea good, but it wasn't anything uniquely special. The carrot was very moist and had the right amount of sweetness/carrot flavor. I could've sworn they had oolong milk tea on menu, but sadly no. Their menus were pretty and extensive though. We were seated in between two other tables, and I kinda wished there was more distance between the tables. The pink indoor/outdoor decor was what drew me to eat here, very picture-worthy! read more

I had to stop by Peggy Porschen while visiting London as pink is my favorite color and I have a sweet tooth. Staff was very friendly and attentive my friend and I had brunch (I ordered the smoked salmon egg and avocado brioche and a Rose Pedal Prosecco) then ordered desserts and a Rose & Pistachio Latte, I had the Underwater Utopia cupcake and some maccarons and everything was DELICIOUS! We're lucky to be early so we had a chance to browse the great selection of desserts and food. Our lunch was fantastic, both the taste and the look. The staff was very friendly and the ambiance was so inviting with the pink tones everywhere. Will come back for more. read more

It just wasn't good. The Avacado toast was too hard and needed more salt and pepper. The vegan banana cake was underwhelming. The virgin champagne was not good. It's a very pretty shop but you would do better just taking a pic outside and going somewhere else. My waitress was nice. The people at the front were not friendly at all. Such a cute little shop. Super cute for Instagram pics! I ordered a tea and a small lemon flavored cake. The tea was great, the cake wasn't exactly the best, it was cold. I didn't seem very fresh although I was one of the first customers to arrive. I probably should've opted out for a cupcakes instead, many customers were stopping in and picking up cupcake orders. I meannnnn you gotta visit for the 'gram but that's IT. This is a MUCH bigger location than Belgravia, but you really can't just walk in and get a table. Reservations are highly recommended. I got a cupcake to go and it was dry and not that flavorful. read more

We booked the Afternoon Tea, and it was OK. the desserts were fantastic. The person greeted us nicely and seated us, and our waiter was very polite. We were seated at the front with a good amount of people around us. The place was very bright and busy. After we had just finished with our tier, we were waiting for our bill. I have asked two employees if we can get the bill and told me to "in just a minute". A customer had came inside and the man that i asked to just get the bill had served that person first. We have waited roughly 45 minutes until finally someone came. As I was paying, I had mistakenly used the wrong card, and the man said out loud where all the customers can hear that my card "was DECLINED, maybe you do not have money!" in a very rude and loud voice. Then proceed to ask the other person to try. It was quite embarrassing for us. Then he packed our left over desserts and it looked like he just threw it in there where everything was smashed up.
