    Turkish breakfast. AMAZING!!!

Holy Moly! What a delightful place and lovely dining experience. We can enthusiastically recommend this gem. The food was delicious. The only downside was the bathroom. The men's was cleaner than the women's.

We came here to have some tea & dessert after dinner. The first impression was good. Atmosphere was very cute. "Cute" is not really the word I like to use for description but it really was cute! There were plenty of wonderful looking pastries & many different teas to choose from. Gentleman taking our order wasn't very friendly. It didn't really bother me. I figured he was tired because it was getting late. We ordered 3 desserts to share between two of us. (Don't judge me! They were small!) All 3 were slightly stale & didn't taste very appealing. The tea, on the other hand, was superb! We finished the 1st pot & moved on to the 2nd one. Stupid me decided to open the 2nd one. That's when I discovered that the teapot was full of mold inside. Needless to say we were both really grossed out. When I showed it to the unfriendly guy he didn't look surprised, or maybe he just didn't care. Stale pastries paired with moldy pot do not inspire me to visit again or recommend this place.

Fait Maison 50 Gloucester Road This is a wonderful place to eat! Whether it's afternoon tea, breakfast, dinner or just light dessert, this place has it. This branch has a beautiful dessert spread. Their macaroons and fudge are amazing and tasty. They offer a nice variety of tea and coffee served in authentic English tea sets made of porcelain. It's a Very classy place. The prices are reasonable. The decor is light and fun but with a classic design. My mom and I went during our first visit to London this past week. We're from New York City. We went for an afternoon tea with dessert and sandwiches. We got it thru a special offer with groupon. Substantial food at a reasonable price. Marilena, our server, was very attentive and friendly. She kept coming back to our table to make sure we were happy with our meal. Excellent customer service. Check this place out! You'll love it.

Great friendliest and clean place. We were heading out so got coffee and pastry and an almond croissant which were all great. Will have to try and go back to sit down. The food on display looks amazing

Adorable place for breakfast, brunch or tea. We had breakfast & it was great. I had Eggs Royale, my husband had a Turkish breakfast & the girls had pastries. Everything was great, the service was good & the Flat White was one of the best I've had. The atmosphere is lovely. Give this place a try if you are in the Kensington borough of London.

We thought this place was lovely....from the decor, to the staff, and the food. Everything was amazing. We went there for afternoon tea but didn't realize it starts at 2pm. We asked the server if it's possible to order and he said he would love to extend it to us! The price was 25 pounds for one portion which could be shared between two ppl. It was wonderful!! The deli counter looks great for us to come back.

I can't believe this place has 3*! I absolutely love it. Great home made food. Delicious cakes. Calm and great one to one service. This is my go to destination after a stressful day. I love their beetroot salads and their carrot and parsnips roast vegetables. They even serve carrot juice! The staff are so kind and friendly. There was a problem with the wifi previously but they sorted that out. It's a great location just in the middle of Gloucester Road. My safety valve always. Natalie xx

Wide variety of delicious pastries, patiently described to us by charming woman at the counter. Lovely rose tea served in delightfully mismatched china pieces.

We fell for this tourist trap. It looks nice from outside but thought it was just okay. Wife got some tea and she thought it was decent.

In fact, I would have missed Amorino except for others in my group were not amused by a Pub with a namesake associated with a sensitive body piercing. Plus, they are gelato fanatics so this place pulled them in like a moth to flame. It is a clean, well-run shop with plenty of flavors available. The display case was quite appealing, especially the written descriptions of the flavors. There is always at least 1 lactose free option as well (on the day we were there, it was Chocolate Sorbetto) and they are very hip to give you test samples before you make a decision which is a very friendly touch in favor of the customer. While this might seem to be the norm, this shop is also in a high tourist-traffic area and I would imagine that putting up with idiots on vacation all day long might get old pretty quick. Nevertheless, they seemed very welcoming and happy to serve us which is always nice to experience as a consumer. I did not sample the goods since I was wasting my calories this trip on pub suds instead of gelato. But those in my group that did partake are somewhat authoritarian experts in the craft of frozen, dairy-based desserts. And they proclaimed it to be on par with typical European style gelato. Nothing more and nothing less and it scratched the itch of a palate in need of a gelato fix. It was not cheap but nothing in the UK is. If you are in the area and in the mood, I think you can't go wrong with a stop at Amorino for a taste of good-quality gelato.

The Paul near the hotel where I stayed is one of these places. I haven't changed. I loved a bakery then and I still seek out one when I'm travelling. I loved visiting this cafe. My hotel stay didn't include breakfast. Frankly, there wasn't a place to have some at the hotel itself. Instead, I bought breakfast items to my room to enjoy. I went to this cafe and got these items: - Pain au chocolat - Quiche lorraine - Red velvet macaron I paid with a credit card. I remember staff being super friendly and nice. I got my items in a couple of branded paper bags. I brought them to my hotel room to devour. The pain au chocolat was delicious. It was flaky and the dark chocolate was there in every bite. The quiche lorraine was enjoyable. It had the perfect ratio of eggs to cheese, bacon, and onions. The crust was yummy and held everything together. Both items tasted fresh. They were warm when I ate them at my hotel room. I went back to get a red velvet macaron. It felt fancy having it in its own box. It was divine! I'm glad that this cafe still exists. It's awesome. We were able to grab a reservation for an early dinner the same day. They had the front door/windows open so it feels as if you're dining al fresco, but still inside the restaurant. I was hungry and ordered the steak and fries. The steak came with a pat of herb butter. You can only choose med-rare or well-done. So of course, it was med-rare for me. It was delicious with fantastic flavor, enhanced with the melting herb butter. The fries were crisp and delicious. I don't know what type of sauce came with my steak on the side, but I ended up dipping my fries in them, and it made it a different experience. Thankfully I had room for dessert, so my wife and I split the Birthday Dessert Box. No it wasn't anyone's birthday, but the menu describes this as a golden chocolate orb with vanilla ice cream, honeycomb, chocolate strands, freeze-dried raspberries, gold flakes (didn't notice these), and the server pours hot salted caramel sauce on top when it arrives. This was divine! What a great way to end a fantastic dinner.

However, the young lady who has been the hostess of late has people skills that are almost repellent, at least so far as they have applied to me. Last night, a special night to celebrate the upcoming nuptials of one of my best friends, was marred by her giving us a crap table. When I asked for something a bit better and indicating that in my booking I had requested a booth, she responded snootily that booths are kept available for walk-in VIP's. If I owned the place, I would have fired her on the spot for making a remark like that. So, for those of you who are not VIP's, and I expect a few of you might not be, be prepared to sit where you're relegated and not where you'd prefer.

If you find yourself in Kensington and are craving a little somethin' sweet, you should DEF hit up Lola's and indulge. Their kiosk is located right next to the Kensington Tube Station entrance. Ironically, I was actually still lightweight full from the dinner that I had just eaten, but I couldn't resist taking a couple of these babies with me to-go for later. For a kiosk, their selection was screaming with variety! Because we ALL know; the more choices, the merrier. Also, the harder the decision (well, for me at least). I love that they have both mini and regular sizes because sometimes you just wanna nibble. I stuck with the minis since I was still full from dinner. And how ADORABLE are these thangs?! I stan a creative cupcake, mmkay boo boo?! They've got tiger, lion, and panda designed cupcakes and unique flavors like tiramisu, rocky road, and sherbet fizz. Of course, you can't forget the classic favorites! Yep, they have those too. They also have a nice variety of vegan flavors on the menu too. Lots of flavors to choose from ladies and gents! I had their cookies n' cream and a carrot cake minis. Both were absolutely scrumptious! Super moist and flavorful. I loved that the cookies n' cream one was creatively topped with Oreo cookies. But, that carrot cake though! Woo babyyyy. This one was my fave. It was literally over there tastin' just like a yummy carrot cake. After I ate them, I was kind of upset that I didn't get more. Let me tell you though: they were so, SO satisfying. I kind of wish that something like this was near my local train station. But then again, I'd probably end up blowing up like a ballon from eating it too often.
