We reached out to Dee a year and a half ahead of out intended wedding date, only knowing that we wanted a luxurious destination wedding. We did not have a clear vision in our minds of what we wanted our wedding to be except good food, vibes, incorporating our Chinese/Vietnamese culture, and memorable moments within our budget. With Dee living in California and my husband and I living in NY, we made it work to meet in each other's respective states a few times and connected mainly online. Dee was able to guide us to create an event that our guests still talk about to this day. I.E, we had fireworks at our wedding in Cabo! Even when some pieces did not seem to fit, we joked Dee is like a fairy godmother. She was able to deliver and frequently exceeded our expectations. She always made sure the numbers made sense and was not afraid to DIY if it meant getting us what we wanted for our esthetic or experience. There were times when as a bride, feelings of frustrated or impatience arises, however, you have to 100% trust Dee that everything is going to work out (likely better than expected). Her vision is what helps bring all the big moving parts together. Her experience, connections, and grit help pull these memorable events together. Choosing the "Dee Lee experience" was one of the best choices we've made so far as a couple. If we were to do it all over again, choosing Dee as our planner is a no brainer. Planning a wedding is a feat few people in this world can accomplish with the same level of grace and effectiveness as Dee Lee. Coordinating events contain a range of difficulties, whether you're throwing corporate events, kids birthday parties, or weddings, within each is a spectrum of complexities and moving pieces that requires a certain kind of individual, one who can mold these shapeshifting inspirations, ideas, and concepts into a living breathing event that sets those there to experience it up for the ultimate success for such an undertaking: a banging party. That is what Mrs. Dee Lee of Dee Lee Designs was able to accomplish this for my wife and I in just 10 short months before our wedding. From our very first meeting, we were sure we wanted Dee to be our planner. Her professionality and affirmative attitude brought us comfort in knowing that even if we didn't know anything about weddings, it was ok, because Dee had it covered. Proficient with florals, artistic design, vendors, dance instructors, thematic elements, and a certainty of procedure and process made us feel like we could sit back, relax, and let Dee handle the show. I'm a go with the flow kind of guy; details, plans, and timelines are really not my bag, but my wife Rachel may just be the most organized person on planet Earth. Where I procrastinate, she anticipates, where I forget, she remembers, and when I don't have the answer to something, I'd better go and find the hell out, because when that stress is at her door, it's ringing my clock with an alarm louder than a tornado siren. Enter Dee, the perfect person to handle each issue, each potential detail that my beautiful wife would anticipate, Dee fielded with grace and suave. When we had an issue, Dee locked things down, got things sorted, and helped take stressors off our plate every single time. With each passing month, my wife thought of every detail, every consideration, and every single possible little thing that could possibly go wrong or that we needed to consider for the wedding, and yet it still felt like Dee was one step ahead of us at every juncture, knowing how to answer those burning questions, and giving us the time, care, and attention we needed to feel comfortable moving forward with a 90 person wedding. No, actually a 110 person wedding, actually, forgot to invite some of the people from Tuscon... A 130 person wedding. Jeez. Without blinking an eye, our party added another 40 people, and we still had room to improvise and adapt, because Dee Lee is never off her feet, never caught off guard, and never misses a beat. Safe to say, my wife and I are exceptionally happy with Dee and her team, as it was because of their efforts that we were able to have the best day of our lives. From Rachel getting ready in the morning for the ceremony, to our first look, our reception room reveal, and more... Dee was ahead of the ball on every turn. Like a D1 receiver who just never dropped a single catch, Dee helmed that special day and had it running like a greased up engine, all purr, and no hiccups. If you're reading this, and you need a wedding planner that has the knowhow, fortitude and perspective to get things done, there really isn't anyone out there who can get the job done better than Dee Lee.

It's almost been a year since my wedding day, but yet, people are still talking about it. How my wedding was very organized and very memorable. It had to be the work of my wedding organizer, Dee Lee. I found Dee through her Yelp reviews. I then stumbled upon her website and answered her questionnaires and luckily for me, she responded to me quickly. She called me and she was extremely personable from the beginning. I can tell by her voice that she has passion for what she does, and I'm not just another client. Dee was very professional in organizing my wedding. Starting from the pre-ceremony to the wedding reception. She knew what I wanted and what I envisioned without me having to express it. I didn't lift any finger because she understood what I needed. Her attention to details was perfect. At times, I had to bring my family, friends with me. She was very respectful, calm and very family oriented which she prepared time to get to know my closest family and my husband's family members. I could rest assured that things will be done on time, and I didn't have to worry. The things I was anxious about, she's already steps ahead of me and taken care of it. In addition, I admired about Dee and her team is that they have an extremely good relationship with the vendors. She knew a lot of vendors and has a solid foundation and positive rapport with them. I could tell that her networking was incredible. Dee would work with my budget, and I did not have to feel reluctant to talk about anything. She would take time and explore my needs and there was always a way out to solve my problems, needs or my hesitations. All and all, during my wedding preparations and on my big wedding day, I never doubted Dee or her team, or questioned her about the preparations progress, considering my high level of anxiety. First of all, I cannot say enough about Dee Lee and her team. I am actually a vendor who works closely with this company and they are the real deal. They are the type of humans you feel blessed to have come across and really know what they are doing. Dee & her team knocked it out the park. I am so happy with the work she's done for me & my husband. When first interviewing with her, she asked a lot of important questions that I never thought about. That gave me the confidence that not only does she deeply care about the result of the work, but also about the experience of my guest and I would have. Dee is so good at her job. I made sure to be considerate of her time since I know she's also giving the same excellent service to many other lucky brides. When I disagreed with the presented vendors, we would have a discussion of what didn't work and she would come back with a new ones. What I love about her is that she's not a yes woman. She will tell you her opinion if she thinks it's not going to work. She also kept me within my budget and let you know the estimate cost before you make your decision. On the day of the wedding, I felt taken care of. While Dee was handling the big boss things, her team took care of my bridal & groom's party. I literally did not have to think and allowed me the space to be present. Her team knew exactly what to do with me and guided me to every scheduled event as if I was a performer. They also made sure to check in on me if I was comfortable, fix my dress or hair, and gave me breaks whenever I needed them. I am beyond happy with Dee's work and all the vendors she hand picked for me (Two Fourteen Photography, Leta Verbena (florals), the Grey Orange Creative (Lighting & DJ), Seafood World (Chinese Catering), Fete the Venue, and Kate Leung (English & Cantonese MC). When I think back to my wedding, I can't help but to smile about it. The event was full of cheer, love, laughter, and dancing. So many of my guests complimented on how fun and beautiful the wedding was.

We could probably write a novel on our experience with Dee, but we'll try to keep it "short". We got engaged in December 2022 and were a bit lost when it came to planning our wedding. My now husband, Joseph, wanted to get married in the latter half of 2023, which gave us less than a year to plan and with the amount of information there was on the internet about weddings and timelines, I was overwhelmed. After extensive research on wedding planners, we found Dee and reached out to her. Prior to our first meeting with Dee, we were very positive given the reviews, but once we talked with her and went into detail on our planning process, our confidence shot through the roof. After dreaming about my wedding since I was a little girl, you would think I had more of an idea of what I envisioned, but I realized I actually had no clue. Dee spent so much time getting to know us as a couple, our vision, budget, our preferences, and more in order to curate what became one of the best days of our lives. By being so engaged with us, Dee became like family and the whole process was so enjoyable. In addition to wedding-related things, we would frequently discuss family, faith, stories from our past, the future, and so much more. One specific example I remember so clearly was regarding florals. Since I had no idea what florals I even liked, she showed me multiple examples, designs, and themes that I might have liked and one in particular stood out. Without even saying anything, Dee said my eyes lit up to the one that caught my eye and that just shows the magic touch she has in being able to curate a love story for who you are as a person and together as a couple. Another thing we'd like to speak on are our vendors. All of our vendors were recommended by Dee or have previously worked with her. During our initial meetings, whether it was for a makeup trial, vision board set-up, etc, they all asked how we found them. Once we mentioned Dee, every single one of them started with, "OMG I love Dee so much". That spoke to us in volumes because we believe that people are reflections of the company they keep and it became clearer over time to see how and why Dee is the best of the best. We loved every single vendor and created a wonderful foundation and friendship with them all. We didn't expect to build these types of relationships, but by doing so, we had a wedding day that far exceeded any expectations. During our wedding day, we were fortunate enough to work with Dee's wonderful team members: Judy, Savannah, and Carolina. We definitely knew they put out hundreds of fires behind the scenes that we weren't aware of, but that's why they are so amazing - because they didn't want us to be aware of the fires so that we could fully enjoy our day. Judy was the main coordinator for our rehearsal and wedding day and she always checked with us to ensure we were comfortable with something and went above and beyond during the day of the wedding. We always told my family and friends that Dee and her team are like fairy godmothers and it's true because our family fell in love with them. We can't even tell you how many positive comments of adoration and respect we received from wedding guests towards them, but it was a lot. Lastly, we'd like to speak about Dee's character. To say that Dee is a blessing is an understatement. Words cannot truly describe how grateful we are for her and her team. It has been our pleasure and absolute honor to work with Dee and I pray that we continue to cross paths throughout life. As I mentioned before, we discussed various topics outside of wedding planning, which showed Dee's character as a friend, educator, family woman, businesswoman, and SO much more. As we kept in touch throughout the months leading up to the wedding, it was so inspiring to see DeeLeeDesigns continuously grow every week from partnerships, destination weddings, Disney weddings, and well-deserved awards and recognition. She inspired us individually and as a couple and taught us so much about life in general. I know they will continue to soar and we will be right there cheering them on in anything and everything they do. Since we became like family and admired Dee with everything she did for us, it was mandatory that our photo shot list included a picture with Dee, her team, and the vendors (see photos). Dee also did a room reveal with us for the reception and we were absolutely blown away when we opened our eyes; it was more than we ever thought possible. Dee, Joseph and I love you very much and will forever be thankful that it was in God's plans for our paths to cross. Thank you for creating an absolute perfect day with all the pieces falling into place. Just like someone finds "the one" in a life partner, we believe that's how it is for finding a wedding planner too. Trust us, Dee is THE ONE.

I hired Dee 18 months prior to our wedding. It was during a difficult time of the pandemic when Hawaii implemented strict restrictions on gathering. The wedding industry of the island was hurt, and was recovering from the previous year. I contacted local planners and waited days or even weeks to get a reply. I got anxious and decided to search beyond the island. And viola! I found Dee! Dee is so cheerful, easy to talk to, replies on my inquiries asap, assures me that weddings are easy (who says that?) I recently had the pleasure of working with Dee, who is an outstanding wedding planner and person. From the start, her communication and dependability exceeded my expectations. She was always prompt in responding to my questions, addressing any concerns I had, and providing insightful guidance. I never once had to worry about a single detail slipping through the cracks--from the early stages of planning to every single detail on the day of the wedding. There were so many conversations she had with vendors on the back-end that I did not need to worry about knowing that I could trust her 110%. She was always one step ahead. Her reliability gave me, my husband, family, and bridal party the peace of mind, allowing us to fully enjoy the entire wedding planning journey and actual day of event. Coming to the actual execution of the wedding day: the beauty and elegance of my wedding were beyond words. Every aspect was meticulously planned and flawlessly executed. From the breathtaking floral arrangements to the delicious catering, incredible live band, carefully curated lighting, each vendor was handpicked with utmost care and attention to detail. The level of craftsmanship and professionalism exhibited by these vendors was a testament to the strong relationships they have with Dee. There is so much that could not have come to life if it wasn't for her. On my wedding day, I was able to fully enjoy every aspect of the celebration. Her team was so experienced and professional. For that, I am forever grateful for. She made my wedding truly an unforgettable night not only for my family, but also my guests. Dee is the absolute best. She made my baby's 1st Birthday truly special. I was planning my Baby Shark themed birthday from another city and she absolutely nailed it. All I had to do was have a few conversations with her and after that I didn't have to worry about a thing. The decorations were custom made. We had an under the sea balloon arch, a gorgeous dessert bar with a baby shark cake, a pink fong dog piñata, custom centerpieces, and the most delicious (and cute) cookie favors. Dee even had a baby shark, mommy shark, daddy shark, and grandma and grandpa shark made. She even came up with the idea of putting a fishing game on each table which the kids loved! Dee and her assistant stayed for the whole party. They coordinated the baby shark dance, took awesome pictures, oversaw the meal service and the DJ, timed the whole event, offered to load up the gifts and cleaned up after the event. I was just so grateful and amazed. You can tell after any conversation with Dee that she is very passionate about her job and a true professional. She is creative and detail oriented. Dee is my everything! Can I please give her more than 5 stars?! I came in contact with Dee to plan my daughter's first birthday. Not knowing what I wanted and how I wanted things designed, she began giving me ideas. I finally picked a theme with some pictures and this is where Dee's magic came in. She asked what colored we liked and started putting them together. EVERYTHING TOGETHER; colors, vendors, decorations, venues, etc! I didn't have to worry about anything. I gave her a picture of the cake I wanted and she found a vendor/baker that made it look exactly alike. I mean EXACTLY, to the littlest detail and to be honest maybe even better. Everything was custom made and it was beautiful. On the day of the party, it was a beautiful chaotic event. However, Dee definitely kept on top of it. She came early to the venue with her vendors and started setting up. You wouldn't believe how they did it! They literally built everything on the spot and put it together. None of the decorations were made in advance. They did it in less than a couple hours. It was so impressive because if that was me doing everything, I would have had a meltdown. OH DID I MENTION?! Dee even found me a last minute photographer! For the party Dee and her photographer stayed. She oversaw the meals, decorations, took care of my family/guests, refill the dessert tables, and even stayed after to clean up the venue. Dee made sure everything flowed and every part of the part came at a timely matter since my daughter was being super grumpy. The photographer got amazing shots and definitely got all the elements of the party. She made she got everything for us, so that we can look back later on and remember the moments. I was a nerve wreck before Dee, but trust her when she tells you to. She WILL make it happen. With a couple of conversations with Dee, she knows exactly what you need and want within your budget. Thank you to you and your team for making it happen for us. LEAVE YOUR TRUST WITH DEE. My brother and sister in law just had their wedding on June 23, 2018. I have to say. It was the most emotional, amazing and breathtaking wedding that I've ever been to. It was like a fairy tale setting. Diane and her team did an amazing job with the venue. She took care of everything and makes your dream wedding come true. Also the people she works with are so friendly and caring. They really focus on not just the bride and groom but also the family's happiness too! Wedding Review I've heard planning a wedding is the most stressful event in your life, I didnt want to do it and miss anything that would mean something. Dee is my life saver. I had no idea what I wanted, didnt know where to start, didnt know what to do. If an issue, question, or anything came up - SHE TAKES CARE OF IT. Not only did she recommend the best vendors, she understood I had budgets to stay within. Her professional thoughts and guidance was so relieving, I trusted her with it all. Dee makes event planning as easy as a breeze. Love her! Working as a catering assistant, I've seen her work on the floor and she is very organized and reliable. Everything runs smoothly and with ease. She also helped me with my nephew's first birthday party and we really needed a dessert vendor that can make cake-pops, cupcakes, chocolate covered oreos and sugar cookies with Monster theme. She knows a lot of vendors and even with a short time, we were able to find someone that can make all of those. I am very happy with our choice and very thankful to Dee. You're the best! read more

Dee is such a gem to work with! So kind, friendly and really hustles - she made a call on Instagram for vendors to donate their services to a beautiful young family that was fighting cancer and I immediately reached out. Such a wonderful cause, she put together a super sweet birthday party for a very deserving little girl, rounding up everything from venue space, linens, rentals, to food, desserts, a princess who paints faces, and photography coverage. It felt really amazing coming together for such a great reason :) She's designing and coordinating a wedding I'm shooting later this year and I cannot wait to see what she puts together! We had an insanely busy wedding day that started at 5am, consisted of 3 separate ceremonies, and continued until 10pm for 250+ guests. Dee and her team were able to pull it off seamlessly, our guests had a blast, and I still have no idea how things went down on the day :) I was in a hurried, happy, emotional blur, and can't imagine what would have happened if she hadn't been there to run everything. We hired Dee Lee as our wedding planner a year before our wedding. She was very patient and professional and was there with us from start to finish. Dee really has a great eye for setting up beautiful set ups and gave us great ideas. We had our wedding at the Arcadia Arboretum, and it was hands down the most fantastic day of our lives and a gorgeous wedding of our dreams. I would highly recommend Dee for any event planning! My wife and I had a 9 month engagement and brought Dee on as our coordinator about halfway in. We are so thankful for all of Dee's hard work and dedication to helping us put our wedding together in such little time. She had a newborn during our last few months of planning and our Wedding day, but she didn't neglect one detail. We had set out to look for a coordinator, however, during our research we found that they really only come in and assist a month prior to the wedding and day of. The assistance was also quite limited with xx number of meetings for set times, and most of what they would do was confirm vendors and ensure logistics and timeline were followed day of. When we put together a pros and cons list of hiring a coordinator or hiring a planner, we decided to go with a planner. It was important to us that no one in our family or none of our guests would lift a finger to help. They would show up and enjoy the day with us. You know the movie 27 Dresses? Well, that was me. I have been a part of my fair share of weddings and while they are lovely, they are also tiring when you are tasked to help with everything. I understand that planning for a planner (hehe) requires budgeting, but when you think of your day, keep in mind the people involved, and most importantly, yourselves! I have seen brides and grooms argue, stress and panic over DIY details, and unfortunately that gets passed on to the family members and guests. So then came Dee Lee. She came highly recommended, and after our first phone call, I knew she was the one. I just knew, and I had spoken with about 6 other planners at this point. The call lasted an hour and not once did she rush me off the phone or make me feel like I was not a priority - and I was not even her bride yet! The passion and commitment from her confirmed my feeling that she was going to do everything to give us the day we wanted. And she did that, and then some (insert tears streaming down my face). My husband and I showed up that day and did not have to worry about a thing. No one in our family helped set up anything. Instead, Dee and her team helped all of us get ready, zip up dresses, fix hair, get our pad (lol) whatever it was - they handled it. In our initial chats, Dee interviewed my husband and I to see what we wanted out of the day, what do we envision, and what was important to us. Everything, and I mean everything we listed, Dee and her team delivered. We look back on the day a lot and honestly cannot pick something that did not go as planned. I know things happen and the day is not perfect (Dee was honest about that too, so she is not all clouds and roses, she gives it to you real), but we honestly cannot think of anything because Dee and her team managed it all so well that we were never bothered with it. We were not stressed, we did not argue or get angry at each other for some detail forgotten, we did not put anyone to work. In fact, my family and friends raved about how they just showed up and had fun. I literally can write an essay on all the things Dee and her team did for us that day. If you are looking for a planner - hire Dee. The cost will be worth it when you look back on your day and can't find anything wrong because whatever did go wrong was taken care of by Dee and her team. I was also a COVID bride and it is stressful! Dee took so many late-night calls of me panicking, us changing things, verbiage for invites, everything! Dee was there for us and held our hand through it all. We are so thankful and appreciative for Dee and her wonderful team! She is now a forever friend. Oh, and one last thing, because like I said I can go on and on, I was a corporate planner at one point in my career and I am super OCD and Type A, and let me tell you, Dee and her team had me impressed! I have recommended them to all the future brides I know because they are THAT good. Dee and her team are worth it, just do it, and you can thank me later. read more

Planning a wedding would have sucked without having Dee by my side throughout the entire process. I knew that as a bride with a busy job and no real drive to plan my own wedding, I had to find someone to help bring my vision to life. I found @deeleedesigns through a FaceBook group called "Subtle Asian Weddings" and scheduled a free consultation. We set up a phone call just to chat about what I was looking for and gave me general advice. It wasn't until months after that initial call that I messaged her again ready to commit - she was very patient and never pressed me or pressured me to book with her. Once we signed the contract, I felt like everything fell into place so effortlessly. Dee is very well known and respected in the wedding industry, and without her and her connections I don't think I would have been able to have the amazing vendor list that I did. With her help, I was able to enjoy the planning process without stressing about it. If there was something that I did stress about, she was literally always a phone call or text away. Dee always made herself available and you can tell that she really cares about not only your event, but you as a person. We had so much fun together throughout the process. When the big day came, I was nervous for the execution but @deeleedesigns definitely delivered!! From the first meeting Dee was inviting and full of energy. She had many questions as to what we were envisioning for our big day. She has many connections that made the planning go smoother than expected. Dee was our most valued wedding vendor! We hired her late into our planning to help us plan the remaining details, set up the dessert table, and mainly coordinate the day of. she is hands on, so she was quick to connect with our other vendors to ensure we had all the info to perfect our wedding day. She gives you as much as you need; she has great ideas and took our wants/ideas to heart. Blessed to have crossed paths with Dee. She is just a positive and joyous person to work with- she's truly passionate about what she does. I initially contacted her about 3 months before my wedding about renting a donut wall as a referral of a donut vendor we had chosen for our reception. Before speaking with her, I didn't think I needed a coordinator to help for my wedding since most plans were made and I had some friends/family I would just assign tasks to for the wedding reception the day of. When I spoke with her, I already felt at ease and knew she was filled with experience because she was asking me many things about the wedding reception I have not thought about. I guess there was more to it than I had thought. Dee and her team made my wedding day stress free for my husband and I am thankful we made a decision to have a coordinator, especially Dee Lee Designs. Dee had a lot of responsibilities to take care of the day of with transitioning items from ceremony to reception, set up, handling my donut wall and more. She made things happen and even was willing to add more people to her team to get things done and made sure everything was covered, which I greatly appreciated. She also added styling touches to the reception that fit with our theme. She also has many contacts; If I needed a resource, she provided me contacts such as a limo and even provided the exact floral arch and donut wall I envisioned. There were some mishaps on day of wedding that were beyond our control- she was able to shield them from my husband and I because she wanted us to focus on having a good time and she was able to handle from the backend. She was very on top of the flow of the timeline as we had to be out of the venue at a certain time. Overall, super thankful for Dee and her team. I really didn't want to write this review but I was extremely disappointed with the service. I was so highly recommended from a coworker and was super excited when I heard she works with our budget. But in reality, it was not the case. Dee was super sweet but put me off was when she kept selling herself to me. I was excited but I realized not once she asked about me or what I want for our wedding. My fiance and I contacted her and things were going well. But I recently had medical problems and asked her if we can do partial PLANNING instead of the full. I was already grateful that she gave us a discount but medical bills were high as well and not to mention I have a 5 year old daughter. But I don't know if it was a miscommunication but she lowered her price (which I did not ask for) and told me we would be jepordizing her and her other partners pay as well. I DID NOT want that. All I wanted was partial planning, which was advertised on her website. She told my fiance "no" because of a bad experience with another client and she only gave us the lower price because of my connection with her friend. Which honestly sounded rude. She also told me our budget is NOT realistic enough assumed that our vendors weren't going to be liscense (which they are). I felt so sad and disappointed. After no emails or anything from her, I found someone else who worked with our budget and helped us a lot along the way and offered partial planning. She is very kind and understanding of our situation as well. Dee does beautiful weddings but if you're looking to stay within budget or looking for partial planning, I suggest looking elsewhere or messege her to see if she now provides it. I honestly think she should just call her self a LUXURY wedding planner because I think she's looking for people who spends over $30k for their events. This was from my experience, but please know your budget. I wish I had the same experience as other brides. But life happens and I want to be able to have a future after my wedding. read more

As an out of state bride, I should have known better that I need a wedding planner before we even look for a wedding venue. I hired Dee after i decided to book skylinks at Long Beach Golf Course based on the pictures I saw online. When I went there in person to check out the venue in person, I was super disappointed and almost cried! The venue was so different from the pictures they presented online. Dee was there with me. She used her network and helped me found a much better looking wedding venue very soon. She understood we lost our deposit from Skylinks wedding venue so she helped us to save as much money as possible. She was there for me along this entire wedding planning journey ever since she was hired! I was having mental breakdowns for multiple times due to stress and she was there to share her life experience to cheer me up. It is so hard to just step back and let someone else plan your wedding. Dee likes to talk about her experience, sometimes she talks a lot. But thats what makes her a wonderful planner. She advices us on every single detail, and when we didn't take her advise seriously and we ended up with mistakes and regret! I am so lucky that Dee was there to help save the day. If you hire her, you just have to trust her expertise and professionalism. Dee and her assistants were so amazing and supportive on our wedding day. I didn't have to worry about anything on our big day. Our wedding was very beautiful and so much fun! thanks to Dee and her amazing team! Planning a wedding takes a LOT, and my fiancé (now husband) and I are busy worker bees most days. When we went into the wedding process, we had a venue, photographer, and videographer. Our venue (the Jim Henson Company Lot) was a completely blank canvas - and we had no idea where to start with bringing all the big picture details in. This is where Dee came in! She visited our venue with us, we discussed our vision, and she was a rock star in implementing ALL of our requests! Tackling a blank venue is incredibly intimidating, and we are so glad we trusted Dee. She brought us lighting, flowers, decorations, table/chairs/tablecloths, DJ/sound, photobooth, bartender, sign printing, food truck (The Habit Burger truck was GREAT and everyone raved about it!) and desserts. She reached out to all of our vendors, coordinated with them, and handled our payments. She visited us a few times to go over our to-do list and make sure everything was on track. Dee was always willing to take on an extra task to help us out, even a last minute rush to the market when we forgot to pick up a flower girl basket. My husband and I were able to handle a lot of smaller details on our own (invitations and some design/aesthetics), but all of the big picture stuff was thanks to Dee. Her recommendations were fantastic, and helped us save thousands of dollars. In the end it was truly a perfect day! I had a chance to work with Dee just about a month ago as one of our clients, who rented our venue (indoor play place) to have her niece's first birthday party, needed a planner to handle EVERYTHING about the party. Dee took great care of my client and has gone above and beyond, not just for them, but for us as a venue as well. The floors at my indoor play space is foam type material and the type of chairs that the client required will puncture holes on the floors, which cannot be placed directly onto the floors. Dee acknowledged my concerns and had found a great solution by bringing in a big turf (which totally goes with the beautiful whimsical hot air balloon theme) to lay on the floors. I learned that she did this out of her own expense. This, to me, shows that she really cares about all her clients, venues and all her teams/vendors that she works with. Also, please note that I did not know Dee personally before I referred her this client. My client needed someone quick and I have seen her work on IG, so I referred. It worked out so great. I couldn't be happier with the decision of this referral and most importantly, my client was sooo happy with how the party turned out. As a vendor, I met Dee Lee through initial social media contact. I own Sugar Bouffant, an Organic Cotton Candy Cart Co. She reached out to me almost immediately and pre- booked for months at a time. Before that transaction was complete- she had also hired me for her daughters birthday. This was not your average, email, send invoice, get paid type of transaction. We immediately bonded ( all through emails/text). My first event with Dee was an EXTRAVAGANT one year old "it's a small world" themed birthday party, let's just say the details and time that had been put into this event were quite unbelievable to stand! The "GO TO" party planner! Diane SAVED MY SANITY for my 200+ guest baby shower this past weekend. Not only was she resourceful in every aspect of the word, she knows the business like the back of her hand and will do ANYTHING... I mean ANYTHING to deliver what she promises. She quickly responded to my emails and text, and was reassuring with my concerns. The day of the event, she was on time and ready to get the job done. And talk about PATIENCE... Dee and her team are soooooooo amazing! They made my wedding dream come true. Steven and I are so appreciate everything that Dee did for us. Dee was referred by one of my friend a half year ago. I spent a lot of time to review their previous works and pictures. I decided having them to be a part of my wedding after a long conversation with Dee, because she is so thoughtful and experienced. Dee Lee is exceptional at what she does in the wedding industry. She was very attentive to all of my needs, wants and hopes! She is very creative and trendy, her suggestions will reflect that : ) Plus, Dee has really had to put a lot of thought/effort into designing weddings during covid. She definitely created a safe but fun environment so that we could continue with our wedding plans. As expected, we had to make some adjustments the night before our wedding (because of weather) and Dee was quick to pivot and still make our dreams a reality. This review is overdue! Dee helped my plan an event on June 17, 2017. The event was A Dream Sweet 15 for my daughter and Dee made sure it was a Dream come true. Dee helped with almost everything! Music, catering deserts, decorations, layout, photography, EVERYTHING. She relieved me from so much stress and I can not thank her enough.
