Two things became apparent as we progressed through the detailed design stage and then on to construction. One was the professionalism and competence of the Walters' people involved and the other was the pleasantness of working with them in their offices and in our home. Michael, the Project Manager was attentive and thorough in keeping us posted on the construction process and schedule. He explained everything they were doing and gave us the opportunity to customize items, like where towel racks go and what height the shower should be. One of the prime benefits for us of this project turned out to be not the new, modern appliances updating our old baths, but the underneath replacement of floors, ceilings, walls, water pipes, insulation, and electric wiring. We've essentially rebuilt a major portion of our house. In doing major construction alteration, Walters Remodeling took great care in eliminating dust using suction machines and in protecting the parts of the house outside the renovation area. We bought a room air scrubber for our bedroom as a precaution. It indicates when the air is bad, and it has almost never found anything other than clean air. Unlike any big contractor, they took their time to diligently fix and replace every wood siding that needed to be replaced prior to the paint job. Our homes are not easily accessible but the crew did a fabulous job in reaching out to every nook and corner where there was damaged siding. When I compare their job with the last iteration, it is obvious to me how much more care they took to get it right. Luis and Myra runs this company with integrity.
