Probably the only negative is they don't not have a/c and it was 10' hotter in the restaurant. There were two ladies working hard and very friendly. The layout is a bit strange. There's a small bar with the Padre game on and several taps. If it wasn't so hot inside, this would be a mellow spot to catch the game. I ordered the carne asada quesadilla. It was loaded with fresh meat and pico. My friend got Al pastor tacos. They looked good and my friend said they tasted good too. Our other friend got chips and gauc. The gauc was smooth but had good flavor.

My first visit was fairly quiet, which made it easy to relax and enjoy a couple of great wines. This time there was a much livelier crowd, and the patio was noticeably fuller, creating a fun atmosphere without feeling crowded. I also love the thoughtful touches throughout the space, including books, table games, blankets for cooler evenings, and plenty of outdoor heaters. The music was great and really added to the vibe. Whether you are looking for a quiet glass of wine or a more social evening, this spot does both really well. Looking forward to coming back to another happy happy hour, cheers!

We purchased ahead of time, and we…read moregot there maybe 5-10 minutes ahead of the start time just in case the explanation of the champagne was going to be done as a group. The place is very small and even being there early, all the inside seats were already taken. We sat on the patio, which on a nice day would have been fine, but it was a cold and windy evening. We asked if they could turn on the heat lamps, but they said they were out of propane. It took probably 15 minutes for anyone to greet us after that. We were told we would get to try 4 or 5 champagnes. And while they were trying their best, it just took such a long time between pours, and we didn't end up trying all of them, as they ran out of at least one. They did compensate by pouring more of the others, but they just didn't seem ready for the group that was there. We ended up shoving our way to stand inside, as it was not pleasant outside. It was a really cute place, and they all seemed very nice, but if they are going to have events, they need to be much more organized and probably limited to a smaller number of people unless they can put more tables out in the lobby area. I had been excited to check it out, but left feeling that we didn't have a good experience.

The service was very friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed, and everything just came together for a really enjoyable afternoon. We sat outside and it was perfect. You ring the doorbell, wait patiently, and once you're inside, you realize this isn't your typical coffee shop. It's a place to slow down, enjoy the music, and savor your drink. Monique and Danica were both amazing. They're warm, welcoming, and you can really see the passion behind what they do. Danica is also the DJ, and her eclectic playlist made the whole experience even better. One of my favorite parts was just sitting there watching our drinks being made. You can see the care and craft that goes into every cup...even the Kuramoto ice is beautiful. The Matcha Americano completely changed my perception of matcha. The Kyoto cold brew pour-over was fascinating to watch and incredibly smooth. We loved it so much that we came back the very next day. This time I had the Midori, and my brother-in-law loved the Highball, especially the yuzu. No laptops. Trust the DJ. Drinks are meant to be enjoyed fresh, so take your time. If you're looking for a quick coffee run, this isn't it. But if you appreciate great coffee, good music, and people who are passionate about their craft, Long Play Hi-Fi is absolutely worth the visit.

I wanted to love the salad because it was large and well-dressed, BUT the lettuce was gritty and could've used a more thorough rinse. I ended up not eating much of it because the texture wasn't good.
