William was working that day and was very helpful in helping me find what I needed. I've bought several mattresses before from this company so I have a good idea as to what's involved. I did tell William I was not looking for myself and he didn't care, he was still helpful. He also said I could order from his store if I wanted and he could set up the delivery in the State I wanted. No pressure. So I went through the process and it was done rapidly and easily, including discounts on delivery and the free adjustable electric bed frame. 100 day free return policy. Standard stuff with this company. A few weeks later sadly, the relative passed away before being able to use the bed that had been delivered. I called William and explained the situation and said I'd not be needing it after all. No problem. He arranged for the bed and frame to be picked up and returned and even reduced the standard return fee by 50%. He could easily have stuck by the book, but his gesture was greatly appreciated. I've only had good experiences with this company. They have a great selection of mattresses and deals. None of this FedEx or Amazon delivery of a rolled up mattress you have to deal with on your end. They deliver them intact, do the set up (in the case of the electric frame, well worth it) and remove the old mattresses you don't need anymore. So all that and great customer service, as William's example illustrates, why bother with any other mattress store?

The associate was very nice and friendly and told me about the mattresses. They are all certified Organic and crafted by the Amish. They don't use flame retardants. The mattresses have inserts so if you have a bed partner that likes their mattress a different way their side of the bed could have a different hard/softness than yours. A win, win. They also carry mattresses for children/babies, pillows, and sell the beds on display. I tried out some mattress and I liked the Serenade one. It was also a pretty good value. Currently they are also having a 15% off sale. I have not made a purchase so I can't speak about the process or delivery but I can tell you that the in store experience was wonderful and I do suggest checking them out if you are looking for a mattress. Please don't make the same mistake I did by relying on assurances that a mattress will "last 20 years" and is protected by a "10-year warranty." I previously owned a different mattress from this company and was told at that time that visible sloping was not normal. Because I had purchased a floor model, I was informed it was not covered under warranty and was advised to purchase a new mattress instead. I trusted that guidance and made another significant investment. With my current mattress, I reported sloping issues within one month of delivery. The bed also splits down the middle and they assured me that would level out. This time, I was told the exact opposite that the sloping was "normal" and would even out over time. It did not. The sloping worsened. Over the years, I have repeatedly returned with photos and documentation. Each time, I received different explanations: that the issue was "normal wear and tear," that it was "not covered under warranty," or that additional photos were needed (despite having already provided extensive documentation). Given the high cost of these mattresses and the contradictory explanations I've received about what is and is not considered "normal," the warranty process has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. They have offered no compensation or fixes. I wanted to support a small and eco friendly business, but based on my experience, I cannot recommend doing so. I met the owner, Gary Schiller, at a seminar last year and told him about my ongoing struggle to find a mattress that was actually firm enough for me. I've literally slept on board-like mattresses in the past. I asked if I could come in and see what made his store different. I went to the West Hollywood location, and honestly, it blew me away. Gary has an entire section of cut-open mattresses--his and competitors'--so you can actually see what's inside. And what I saw was... pretty shocking. Many of the so-called "high-end" mattresses (the ones costing $5,000+) were filled with cheap foam and glue. A lot of them won't last more than a couple of years before sagging. And don't even get me started on the "bed-in-a-box" models--mostly foam, no real support, and almost all one-sided, so you can't flip them. We spent about 45 minutes going through everything. I asked a lot of questions, and Gary was incredibly knowledgeable and transparent. His mattresses are the real deal--steel coils, cotton, no junk foam, no toxic glues. The toppers are made from organic cotton and natural rubber sourced from actual trees. You can feel the difference immediately. I ended up returning my previous mattress and getting the firmest model they offer with a #4 topper--and it's hands down the best bed I've ever owned. The best part? Their mattresses are flippable. That alone is almost unheard of in this industry anymore. When it eventually wears down, I can just flip it and extend its life. That's huge. I know this might sound like a commercial, but the truth is I haven't felt comfortable referring my patients to a mattress store in years. That changes now--I'll be sending people here without hesitation. They already have 5 stars on Yelp, but from me, it's a million. They also offer a wide range of pricing--from around $1,500 to high-end options--so there's something for everyone. And yes, they even have a massive 10x12 bed in the showroom, which is worth seeing on its own. Everyone there was great, and another big plus: they don't work on commission, so there's no pressure to upsell you into something you don't need. Each of us picked out a mattress to get comfortable on while Roxie tuned our chakras with sound bowls, a resonating gong and an ocean drop. Gary was very knowledgeable when it came to picking the right bed for the evening, and he lit the store with candles for the event. You can tell he loves what he does. I adore my own Casper bed, but after lounging on one of Custom Comfort's firm, luxurious mattress, I'll consider them next time around. This was the best soundbath I've ever had! When asked about the adjustable mattress system, I was told I couldn't customize without buying extra cassettes, but they don't recommend doing that (what is the point of an adjustable system then?). I walked out in frustration because I shouldn't have to pay an additional $700 for a firmer bed when dropping $8200 already. Called the South Coast Plaza store and they allow you to customize the cassettes at now extra charge. Avoid this store.
