One small issue for us that may be a big concern for few other consumers and that is there were two very well behaved big size dogs not on a leash accompanying the owner. While we were perfectly fine with it, there might be some people more sensitive while shopping. Plus I think it's a distraction from shopping and focusing on buying their products!

One of those items is a beautiful Persian carpet about which we had very little information. I caught Soheil a little bit after hours, yet he was still kind enough to take the time to look at pictures of the rug and provide some very valuable and expert information about its history and value -- information we'll be able to use in deciding next steps. If/when there's another time that I'm looking for information about or -- especially -- the purchase of a fine rug, there is NO question that Mehraban will be the first, and maybe only, place I visit. It should be the first place YOU check out.

I love my couch and the people at the Melrose location were incredibly helpful to me in choosing…read morethe right one for my apartment. HOWEVER They encouraged me to purchase the pet protection plan, since I have a small dog. I did, and was happy with how they described the coverage - 5 years, anything related to your pet, if they can't clean it they'll replace the section of the couch at no charge. Wow! So when my dog left a food stain and then got sick on the couch, (on two different occasions!) I contacted the company - Servco America - with whom Joybird contracts, and they denied both claims and declined sending someone to clean the couch. When I asked for my money back on the protection plan, so I could clean the couch, they said it would have to be prorated because the service I paid for was available to me for a period of time - even though they denied both claims during that time period. WARNING: the pet coverage is a scam - do not purchase it or you will get in an endless email and phone call circle in Dante's inferno, and risk losing money you paid to a service you'll never get.

Your life will not be complete until you have. As important as the quality of our new antique rug was the excellent service I experienced when dealing with Woven Accents. I was helped out by Jeannene. A real dream to work with! Incredibly patient, has a great eye, very knowledgeable, and not at-all pushy. She even arranged for a "rug show" at our home so that we could see the pieces in the space. It doesn't get better than that. Phenomenal service aside, the selection of high-quality rugs at Woven Accents is dazzling. Antique, contemporary, distressed, etc... they have everything. I highly-recommend them, and will most-certainly be returning for more.

After consulting with David and his team on the phone I found the rug I've always searched for that hadn't been added to the website yet. Also felt good knowing that they don't price gouge you depending on who you are. Other designers I've worked with try and increase prices on certain products when they learn about the installations and galleries the rugs are going in. Mansour, the genie behind this tapestry treasure trove, doesn't just sell rugs; they weave you into a rich tapestry of history with every step you take on their antique masterpieces. This isn't your average magic carpet ride. It's a first-class flight through a labyrinth of Persian finesse, European elegance, and Oriental mystique--all without leaving the ground. For generations, the Mansour family has been like the Indiana Joneses of the rug world, adventuring to uncover the 'Ark' of carpets. And their expertise? So deep, you'd think they were weaved from the same fabric as their rugs. The core of their philosophy is integrity, which must be why you feel so honest with yourself about needing that 18th-century Persian beauty in your life. No fibs here--just fibers. Lots of them. Walking into Mansour is like entering a museum where you can actually walk away with the exhibits, and the service? It's as if they read the 'Carpet Diem' manual--seizing the day to ensure you and your tootsies could land on cloud nine (or a cloud from the Ming dynasty). So, if you want more than just a rug--if you're looking for a story, a slice of history, and a bit of soul stitched into the very fabric of your home--Mansour's has got you covered, quite literally. Just remember to float, not fly--it's still technically a floor decor.
