We had a fence installed that looks great--high quality, visually appealing, and completed quickly…read more The installation team was accommodating when they realized they didn't initially have the correct materials and made an extra trip to get what was needed. Unfortunately, the customer service experience overshadowed the quality of the work. Our original quote needed adjustment because the fence placement was off-center from the house. We reviewed a drawing and agreed to updates, but a revised invoice was never provided. When the crew arrived, they were unaware of the changes. After receiving the invoice, I reached out requesting a breakdown of the additional charges, as it wasn't clear--but never received a response. The company later claimed they had emailed multiple times, but there is no record of those messages--only unrelated marketing emails. The situation escalated when the owner showed up unannounced and repeatedly knocked on our door while we were both working from home on important calls. When we attempted to pay, every option included additional fees, including ACH. At this point, the fence itself looks great, but the communication, billing clarity, and overall customer service made the process far more stressful than it should have been. Unfortunately, not worth the effort or continued frustration.

They did not take my project seriously and, not only, did not do what they were hired to do they made the situation worse and caused new issues. They will give you excuse after excuse to why there are late, why they schedule a day and time and do not show up, why the work looks sloppy and unfinished. They do not have any consideration for you as a homeowner, they play loud music (even when your home working) they come and go as they please, they make a complete mess and leave it that way (quote "because they are not maids"). I did everything I could to be accommodating for their lack of planning, disorganization, lack of timeliness, and ineptitude; they just took advantage. If you question the work being done or have valid concerns, they will get defensive and then the crew just leaves for the day no matter what condition the house may be in. This project was started 2 months ago and should have only taken a week (probably 3 days if they worked more than 40 minutes a day). Avoid this company, it will cost you more in the end and save you the frustration and stress. If you are building a new home or using a builder, find out if Berghorst is the drywall sub-contractor and demand different company.

We were so lucky here…read morecause we had minimal gutter damage but my neighbors on both sides had extensive house damage when large oak trees had crashed through their roofs and south down Mears it was just devastating. Called Shepherd Shoreline and Jaylyn (sp?) and Adam replaced gutters and downspouts and did a beautiful job. The gutters work so well (old ones had leaked in spots) and made this old house look incredible and they took all the old parts away. So called em again when the old, heavy, wooden garage door got to be almost impossible for me to open and I know they were still busy repairing and replacing wind damaged homes but they came out and put in a new door that looks clean and neat and opens at the touch of a button every time. Plus Tony and Garrett (sp?) took all the old nasty parts away and cleaned up the joint. Can't say enough 'bout Shepherd Shoreline. . . but wait I think their prices are very reasonable and I am so glad I called them a couple Junes ago. Thank ;you. ksh
