Unfortunately, the customer service experience overshadowed the quality of the work. Our original quote needed adjustment because the fence placement was off-center from the house. We reviewed a drawing and agreed to updates, but a revised invoice was never provided. When the crew arrived, they were unaware of the changes. After receiving the invoice, I reached out requesting a breakdown of the additional charges, as it wasn't clear--but never received a response. The company later claimed they had emailed multiple times, but there is no record of those messages--only unrelated marketing emails. The situation escalated when the owner showed up unannounced and repeatedly knocked on our door while we were both working from home on important calls. When we attempted to pay, every option included additional fees, including ACH. At this point, the fence itself looks great, but the communication, billing clarity, and overall customer service made the process far more stressful than it should have been. Unfortunately, not worth the effort or continued frustration.

Two other guys came out but they were not licensed and their prices were too high. My neighbor suggested I call Valley Concrete owned by Matt Knight. I called and Matt came over that night. He gave me a price the same day. I verified that he was licensed as required by law. His price was fair and lower than the other guys. I hired Matt and he installed the new driveway within a few weeks. He chose Hamilton Ready Mix who supplied a quality mix. I had no fears that Matt would not pay his suppliers and employees. Then we spoke to Jamie Remelts from Knapp Valley. She showed attention to what we were looking for, explained her vision, and shed light on some information on some existing plants we had in our front yard. She seemed genuinely excited to transform our weed ridden front yard for us. The quote was detailed, explained the gameplan, and was a fair price for what we wanted. They also had a stellar warranty offer on any landscaping done, and even though some of the plants we received are struggling, Jamie has assured us if it comes to it, it will be covered and we can receive replacements if it arises. Anytime we've reached out to Jamie, she has been extremely responsive and timely, and has comforted us on any situations that came up. They accidentally knicked our internet line during the landscaping, causing our internet to go out, and offered to provide a replacement wire until we could get the new internet cable installed. They also came to pick it up, and made things right, and were apologetic about the predicament. I believe what matters most, is not how perfect an experience goes, but how mistakes or issues are resolved. And they really made things right on any issues that popped up. We were told payment would be once the job is complete, but didn't receive the invoice for a few weeks. Payment was easy, we just drove to the main store and talked to the front lobby people. If you are new into gardening/landscaping, I highly recommend Knapp Valley Gardens and to ask for Jamie. It is very exciting to see our plants budding, and I am excited to buy more plants from Knapp Valley Gardens to expand, and get our backyard landscaped in the future. I think the team that was sent out had every intention of getting the job done well. And, skills wise they seemed pretty competent. But, there were timeline issues that delayed things, and there was a supervisor who introduced himself at the start of the job - but seemed absent after that. I had to make a few corrections to the build as it was happening because it didn't seem like everyone on the team knew the plan. I will add that Nieko was attentive. When I couldn't get the supervisor on the job I did reach out and share some concerns with Nieko and he made sure they were taken care of. In the end, we are happy with the fence - and that's the litmus test in my book. It simply seemed like there were some organizational and leadership things that were being worked out. Would I hire them again - yep. However, I would probably work hard to make sure Nieko was involved as much as possible.
