I contacted someone that works for them out of their Battle Creek HQ offices, and he directed me to the Grand Rapids team. Will from the GR office contacted me very quickly and was able to come by our house the next day with his coworker, Luke. Both Will and Luke were easy to talk to and understanding. They showed me pictures of the damage to my roof and assured me it was minimal and quoted me an estimate well below what I thought it might be. We had no need to even file a claim with insurance. The next day, Will reached out and told me that because the damage was so minor, he and his boss (I believe his name is Mark) would be able to come over the next day to make the necessary repairs. I'm extremely grateful for the way they prioritized our home, especially with more rain and storms approaching next week. However a lot of my former customers have reached out to me DISPLEASED with the work they've recieved to the price and "professionalism" this company claims to carry. Claiming they're hard to get a hold of and even stating the company said to go ahead and have someone else install the fence. This company has a 50ft minimum which isn't usually a big deal however they don't tell you about it. Meaning if you only need 30ft you're still charged for 50ft and they take 20ft back to the shop with them. Your hard earned money, then they will use it on another project elsewhere claiming it's "donated" by the company for being such a wonderful person or whatever. In my time there I've watched them fire 3 install teams and refused to fully compensate 1 of the teams. For reasons unknown to me. This company claims to have donated to places, though when I was called to a "donated" location because the fence failed I found out quickly that only the labor was donated (the cheapest part) however the owner used recommended fences through the company. I'm embarrassed to have worked for this company and sold through them. The profit margin they claim is 22-38% however it's closer to 100% they claim they use "weatherables" material but the material I've seen used and picked up is from stevensville. The leadtimes they promise are bogus as they can not keep install teams. I hope this finds its way to someone who really needs this insight and this was save someone from months of headache. As per one of my previous customers stated "this is the worst experience I've ever had" save yourself the 10,000 and go elsewhere

After the wind storm we had called a tree service we had used before. He was too busy with the…read morestorm damage so he recommended us to call Able tree service. So we did. One of their men came out to look at the tree on our house. They said they could do the job but gave us no estimate. This maybe partly our fault because we were just grateful to get someone to come out after the storm because we knew other people were in need of tree services too. They came after 2days which was fine because the tree did not penetrate through our metal roof. Thank goodness for that. So the crane came but had to wait for the crew to show up . It did take almost all day to do the job. There was no bill that day. About a week later we received a bill of $30,000 plus for the work. It was One tree! My husband called because we thought it was a mistake. They said they could adjust it so now only$26,000 for the job. Our insurance gave us a check for all the work that was needed to be done other than the tree. We had to pay out of pocket a few thousand dollars to have the other things done. The tree company did not remove the tree or do a good job cleaning up. So if you use Able make sure you get in writing what they are going to do for you and the cost. I wish we knew more of what to do in this type of emergency.
