I've had hearing aids for 26 years now, I've switched through many different audiologists in different cities and different types of hearing aids, and I can confidently say that Decibel Hearing Services in Simi Valley has given me the best hearing services I've ever had. Not only are the Oticon hearing aids amazing and top notch for someone like myself with severe hearing loss, but also the service from the audiologists has been the best I've ever received. They're willing to accommodate my needs and do everything they can to help me achieve what I'm looking for when it comes to my hearing, and that's very important to me. When I first started looking for a new hearing place I called many places in LA, and most of them weren't very friendly - some were even rude. When I first called the Simi Valley office, I knew right away that I'd like to pick them as my hearing provider. The receptionists were so nice to me, and they weren't annoyed when I asked a lot of questions like others were. When it comes to hearing, which greatly affects your happiness and lifestyle, it's something to take very seriously, and I can tell that the team here understands that. Dr. Kelley Bannon and Ellen Baker have been so amazing throughout my two years with them so far. They've been intelligent, patient, supportive, genuine, and give their very best to make sure I'm happy with my hearing aids. The hearing aid manufacturer, Oticon, has also been so amazing. Dr. Kelly Bannon at the Simi Valley location was incredibly helpful in getting me set up with my hearing aid. It's something I had been putting off for a while and Dr. Bannon made the process feel easy, comfortable, and surprisingly enjoyable. She turned an experience I was nervous about into a positive one. She took her time, answered *all* of my questions, and didn't make me feel rushed at all. Decibel also charges fair prices. When calling around to different places to get quotes on the cost, others were charging ridiculously high prices. Not here! The price was more than fair. Not just that, when I needed adjustments on the hearing aid so it fit more comfortably, Dr. Bannon allowed me to come back several times to do so, no charge (it was included in the initial fee which, as I noted, was more than fair). The office staff is also very kind and helpful. I had the most interaction with Maira and she was wonderful! Overall, I had a great experience here and would recommend Decibel to any family and friends who would need it. read more

There is an office in Thousand Oaks and SImi Valley and the front office staff went to great measures to find out if my mother had any hearing aid benefit and as it turned out, she did. I was very hesitant about getting my first hearing aids,,, but I can't say enough about my experience at Decibel Hearing Services. Dr. Baker is amazing,,, she takes her time, and explains everything to make your transition to hearing aids as easy as can be! Her office is beautiful, with an excellent staff. Located just off the 118 fwy., there is a huge parking lot, with easy access to the office. With follow-up visits to check on your progress, and "fine tune" your hearing aids, your are assured everything is "tuned" to your personnel needs. I would give a higher rating if possible! I've been having some hearing problems, so I was dreading making an appointment to have my hearing checked. This office really surprised me though. The appointment setter was very sweet, getting me in within two days of my call. The doctor tested me more thoroughly than my last doctor and explained in more detail than I expected. One of the best businesses I have ever patronized. Ellen Baker and her staff take care of all their patients' needs promptly and with outstanding courtesy and kindness. Ellen Baker truly has her patient's best interest in mind and is extremely knowledgeable. She will work with you until everything is right and is also very fair with pricing. I was her patient for over ten years and trust her without question. I am almost 60 and are there are very few people who have earned such trust from me. I recently moved out of state and encountered a problem with the local hearing aid company who wanted to charge me at least $200 for a repair. Decibel hearing came to my rescue and allowed me to mail my hearing aids to them. They found the problem which was a mere cleaning issue and no repair was needed. Then they only charged me for the postage cost to return my aids and even sent along new batteries. That is just one example of the extraordinary nature of Decibel Hearing. read more
