It appears the 3-4 young office staff members at their computers didn't tell the Dr. we were waiting until I finally spoke up. This was our 3rd visit with the ENT and each time our wait was over an hour. Nice Dr's and nice staff but disrespectful to waste patients time, especially the fragile and elderly. We will regretfully be looking for another ENT and audiologist.

They have you arrive 1/2 hour before your appointment, but there was no wait for the doctor; when he finished his previous appointment, he actually took me a bit early. His assistant, Michelle, was nice and helpful and completed my form with me, which was so much better and faster. Dr. Vaidya was personable and had the kind of approach to health problems that I always hope for in a doctor. He was easy to talk to, listened to my symptoms, and asked questions that helped jog my memory about a symptom I'd forgotten to mention. I always want my doctor to be something like a detective, talking about what might be causing the symptoms and explaining the solutions they're considering. Dr. Vaidya did that and was open to my questions and comments. I was also impressed that he had a preliminary diagnosis and recommendation, but as we talked further, he reconsidered and did a test he'd initially decided against but felt had merit after all. It showed an additional hard-to-identify problem. He prescribed treatment and said he'd see me for a follow-up in two months--all done in an efficient, but also pleasant and relaxed, way. She patiently answered all my questions and clarified the knowledge I had coming in. After completing a hearing test, she said I was borderline...hearing aids could help me, but not necessary. Evelina allowed me to try a set of hearing aids, customized to me, for a week, free. At the end of that week, I determined that I was not quite ready for the aids.
