We also replaced two second-floor decks and upgraded the exterior from wood siding to stucco. From start to finish, John and Carrey Ward were highly engaged in every aspect and decision of our eight-month remodel. We initially started working with another design build firm who provided a comprehensive yet expensive plan. While receiving bids from different companies, John Fuchs and company stood out in terms of their thoroughness, clarity in communication and exhibited an understanding what we were really hoping to have this property look like. Once underway, the project was a smooth sailing journey. Albeit involved, including multiple permit revisions with the city and coastal commission, John just took them in his stride and worked through them systematically. He just bears that "not a problem" attitude and carries on his work and the results speak for themselves. John also suggested a few additions along the way and helped with planning and permitting those and they turned out fantastic.
