I love the Fireplace. It's basically a neighborhood type dive bar. Very friendly people, good…read moredrinks and small food offering. They have a pool table, game machines and the best karaoke on Fri and Sat nights. They have recently had a bit of a facelift and the place looks great. They have also elevated their drinks with holiday special menus. I love the fall caramel apple martini! DELICIOUS! They also make a great white russian for a reasonable price. I've had the smore's dessert which is a cool experience and the pizza which is consistent and good. Service is quick and friendly and sometimes they even have a employee offering food samples. I really enjoy that the karaoke crowd is kind and there to have a good time. They are friendly and will sing with you and cheer you on. The guy who runs karaoke is polite and does his best with your songs and rotating the list of singers. They also have the cleanest restrooms I have ever experienced in a bar! This is not the kind of bar you go to and avoid using the restrooms, its one where you feel comfortable and they always have soap and towels for handwashing! The only downside is that their parking lot is tiny and once its full, you are basically out of luck. There isn't any overflow parking, so I do recommend carpooling if you can.

Discovered this dive bar during the World Cup games. The inconsistencies in decor/vibe throughout…read morethe place makes sense later knowing the bar was on Bar Rescue around 2024/2025. We had a good time playing pool and there was a male bartender making our first drinks that was very friendly and conversational. The female bartender made our second round of drinks and was more standoffish as if we didn't fit the "dive bar scene" since we were dressed up a bit. We enjoyed a couple rounds of pool and watching the World Cup game then we left before karaoke was about to start. Bar itself has plenty of seating and nice lighting for the bottles. After learning the story about the owner and the bar, I'm very happy this place is still open but I don't think we'll be back.

We love a good nerd bar! We attended a Harry Potter trivia night on a weeknight to check this one…read moreout. There is plenty of free parking in the big lot out front. When you enter, you immediately notice the shelves of board games you can play as well as all of the nerdy decor. The decorations are cute! There is lots of seating in several different areas, but if you think it might be crowded you can make a reservation right on Yelp. We have food allergies so we were not able to try their mac 'n' cheese. We did enjoy themed cocktails. The server was exceptional (attentive, efficient and knowledgeable about our allergies). In addition to cocktails, I tried a GF hard cider. The trivia itself was hosted by an outside company (not Dirty 20 Bar). I thought it moved too slowly/took too long between questions and rounds for a work night. I need my sleep. However, it was still fun. In summary, we loved the bar and can't wait to return with some friends to place some board games and sip some cocktails on a rainy afternoon.

Lost my appetite and couldn't eat it anymore lol It tastes mediocre and bare minimum.. hopefully other items on the menu are better.. like dude the chicken was really bad.. if it's always like that I advise doing something different bc I wouldn't even feed a dog that. Anyway, on a brighter note. Staff is very nice and the board games are in relatively good shape and we didn't run into any missing pieces/dirty games unlike other game bars. Our server was very kind and even offered us water to-go which I liked.

I really wanted to like this spot, but it didn't wow me. I'm a fan of the Corner Butcher and have…read morebeen wanting to try this place of the same owner. My husband and I ate here on a Friday night. The atmosphere was not great - it felt like it should be a nicer interior especially for the prices. The tables seemed like plastic card tables with tablecloth on them and the lighting was really dim, with fluorescent lighting. We were sat in a corner that was crammed too close by another table and unfortunately I was bumped into more than a few times - it was hard to get in and out of too. My husband ordered the burger and fries and I ordered a steak. We both ordered our dishes medium but they came well done. They took my steak back and made another, but it took a long time. By the time it returned, his dish was cold. They also didn't ask if his burger was cooked right so he just ate it. My sides were green beans (good) and baked potato (just okay) and it came with a caesar salad (too much dressing). Service left some to be desired. There are lots of food runners and water fillers, it seems, but we didn't see our server a lot nor was my water ever refilled. We had to ask for bread and had to wait awhile for it, as well. The prices especially for steaks are high. I got a 6oz sirloin I believe for $39. With my husbands burger, two waters (no drinks), tax and tip it was a $70 meal. Nothing offered for our delays, incorrectly cooked entrees, etc. Bummer that a nearby, locally owned spot didn't work as we love to support local when we can. If they could elevate some of the above mentioned components to match their prices and provide more consistent quality of dishes, that would vastly help!

Had a seasoning/coating that made them crispy! Also they had house made ranch that was really good. Boyfriend ordered cannelloni small portion perfect for lunch & only $8. Went on a sunday afternoon & the place had only a couple customers. The waiter & bartender were so awesome. Chatted with us & checked on us even after we had paid the tab!
