I had no idea that once you start oral progesterone you CANT STOP or you wont sleep at all and it took me 4 months get titrate off of it. They dosed me too high on Testosterone which caused me insomnia, hair loss and temporary high blood pressure. I could not sleep for 2 months while titrating off of the testosterone and stopping the estrogen abruptly and had to take dangerous sleep drugs, ambian, triazodone. and I had to go on high blood pressure meds until I titrated off of it. Then later in the year it took me 4 more months to titrate off the oral progesterone again not sleeping and taking the dangerous sleeping drugs. I also had bad side effects from the estrogen When I told Elise that I was having bad side effects she told me I had 30 days to find another provider. REALLY! How horrible, never helped me at all with this nightmare that she created. I found another provider a GYN medical doctor who knows how harmones work with my health issues, who knew how to titrate me off of them and was much cheaper than this horrible place!!! I hate this place for the suffering I endured. Now I am seeing an awesome GYN and I pay 115 per visit, and am starting testosterone 2mg and Elise prescribed me 10 mg to take 1 or 2 pumps a day REALLY!!! Ladies be very careful and use a GYN not these physician assistants that don't care about anything but your money!!!

Dr Hirsch and Nurse Practitioner Kala Dehaan are amazing! They have helped me so much in my journey…read moretowards optimizing my health. They are the perfect team. After years of going to countless doctors explaining to them my horrible and frightening symptoms, they would only run generic tests that always showed I was "normal." Because of the "normal" test results and the fact that I "looked" healthy, all the doctors I saw would brush me aside. THEN I met Dr. Albert Hirsch. Dr Hirsch was/is a God Send! He really listened to me and thoroughly explained his theories on health, bioidentical hormones and eating healthy ect.(my first appointment ran almost 2 hours long!) He ran many many tests, tests others doctors never had. Lo and behold, I have Hashimoto's, PCOS, extremely low progesterone (why I know I also have stage IV endometriosis) and very low testosterone. I started seeing him and Kala about 4 months ago and am already feeling a better. Unfortunately with thyroid diseases, finding your optimal dosage takes some time but I am getting there! The metformin given to me for PCOS almost instantly improved my insulin resistance/hypoglycemia symptoms! The progesterone supplements have done wonders for my endometriosis symptoms which include extreme fatigue and very painful cramps. And the testosterone cream has made me feel amazing!!! Hirsch Clinic has such an inviting feel to it. Everyone is so nice there. Dr Hirsch really loves trying to help people feel better and I am sooo thankful to him! My case is rather complicated but he never turned me away. If anything I think my complications were more of a challenge to him, making him determined to figure out my body. He and Kala are always a call, email or text away! Even at night or weekends! They have gone ABOVE & BEYOND what even "good" doctors do, making them GREAT! Dr Hirsch is a straightforward guy so be prepared for him to tell you exactly what he thinks, which is what I think anyone would want in their doctor! Nurse Practitioner Kala DeHaan is almost his opposite. She is soft and gentle. Together they make an amazing team. They both want nothing more than for their patients to feel "great." My advice to any new patients is to TRUST him and Kala. Follow their advice/instructions to the t. FYI I believe they are updating their website soon which I am very happy about bc honestly it doesn't portray half of what these people do! They can see patients anywhere in the world! They can Skype or have phone appointments so if you don't live in the DFW area you can still see them!

I should have gone with my gut feeling after first meeting this man. He is the most arrogant,…read moreself-righteous, pompous man I have ever met. When I first saw him, I was under a great deal of stress and desperate to find an appropriate doctor so I could get my hormones back in balance--so I really wanted to make this relationship work. However, he constantly belittled me and acted frustrated any time I asked a question. He actually had the audacity to tell me I was a difficult patient and his entire staff thought so too. (I've only talked to one person in his office to make appointments so I'm still in shock by that remark) I've already paid him thousands of dollars and I've only seen him a few times so if that makes me a difficult patient, I am more than happy to see someone else--he's simply tweaking hormones, not curing cancer.

She has helped me on occasion with various musculoskeletal issues, particularly involving my back, hips and neck. I have found her technique to be much more effective than either of the two chiropractors I saw previously. Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine, and particularly her specialty of Cranial Osteopathy, is a science and an art, which she has mastered over many years of study and service. I also appreciate that, when an issue of mine is outside her expertise, she recommends another specialist. She is empathetic and clearly cares about me. Financially, I think her fee is very reasonable, and she gives me a form that I easily file with my insurance company. In summary, I recommend Dr. Liz Chapek wholeheartedly and without reservation.

I was very skeptical of this type of treatment when I first started doing some research on getting…read moresome help for numbness in my hands and severe pain in my upper back. Dr. Chapek had excellent reviews, so I decided to give her a shot. She is a very quirky and unique individual. She still uses an answering machine, she doesn't have email, and she makes her own pamphlets. When I was a new patient, she had to fax me the new patient paperwork, and it was extensive and somewhat confusing, because she had written all over it. I was highly motivated though. On my first appointment, I thought it was a little strange that she asked me to wait in my car and then call her when I arrived. She insists on patients wearing masks, and she always has multiple masks on. She works alone. Her office is just one room in another doctor's office. She doesn't have any assistants or helpers. When you want to make an appointment, you talk to her. When you arrive, she takes you into her single exam room. Be prepared when you call her phone to leave a message. Her recording is very very long. When you come in, she sits and asks you questions. Alot of questions. She wants to know what hurts, how you did it, why you did it, etc. She also tends to give you life advice about why you did that and how you shouldn't do it again. Did I mention that she is quirky? Once she has a good idea of what is going on in your life, and has convinced you not to be so stupid in the future, she has you lie down on the table and she places her hands on your head. She keeps her hands on your head, sometimes moving her hands slightly, for a really long time - sometimes 10-15 minutes. She stops and takes notes as well. I remember thinking, who is this lady and what the heck is going on??? I was convinced that I had made a mistake. After she finishes her assessment, she tells you what she's found, and then begins making adjustments to your body. These are minor adjustments, some of which you may feel hardly at all, other than the pressure of her hands. It is at this point that you ask yourself, how much am I paying her to just sit here with her hands under my shoulder??? Once she is done making her adjustments, she will tell you to sit up slowly. I scoffed the first time; why would I need to sit up slowly? Big mistake. I went to sit up and immediately got a little light-headed. She will then tell you that it's going to get worse before it gets better. She reminds you not to do any heavy lifting, difficult work-outs, etc. She tells you to drink alot of water and then come back if you still have issues. In my ignorance and arrogance, I left the first time thinking, "How could I possibly be in pain from her treatment? She barely pushed on me." I was wrong. After my first treatment, I was in quite a bit of pain for 2-3 days. But something miraculous happened after that. I started getting better. That was 3 years ago. I have continued to see Dr. Chapek when I have pain in my body, or muscles that aren't cooperating. I wish I could explain the voodoo that she does, but I can't. A couple of weeks ago, I had some annoying pain in my head and jaw, which I attributed to allergy issues, but my real concern was the pain in my abdomen and hip, which I had no explanation for. I decided to call Dr. Chapek to see if she could fit me in, and she did. I told her my symptoms and she asked what happened, and I told her that I honestly had no idea. She had me lie down and she put her hands on my head. After about 5 minutes, she asked me if I hit my head. My first thought was, WTH is she talking about? Wouldn't I have said if I hit my head? I told her no, I didn't remember hitting my head. She told me that what she was feeling was consistent with someone hitting their head. I told her I guess I could have, but I didn't remember it. I asked her what this would have to do with the pain in my abdomen and hip. She then explained that it appeared that I had hit the upper right part of my head, and the fascia got strained and the resulting tension wove itself around my head, circled my neck, and went down through my abdomen to my hip in a spiral motion. I have been seeing Dr. Chapek for years now, but I still thought to myself, "Uh, ok." She asked me again if I was certain I hadn't hit my head. I told her that I guess I did? She treated me and I went home. I went inside my house, then I remembered that I left something in my car. I opened the garage door and as I was walking towards my car in the back drive, I almost hit my head on the raising garage door and suddenly remembered that I had hit my head on it a couple of weeks ago when I wasn't paying attention. Guess which side of my head I hit? I had no memory of it until that moment. Guess what else? I felt better with no pain anywhere within 1 day. She has some sort of magical abilities that I will probably never understand, and I cannot recommend her enough.
