We specifically told to arrive early which we did out of respect of their request. The office was locked no one was there. We even knocked on the door, called and no response. We went down the hall and sat along with a female patient who arrived to her appointment at 9:00am also, she sat on the floor across from the door in the hallway. After 15-20 minutes, we decided to leave. Very rude! We got up early, drove a long distance, spent gas money, tolls and valet to park. Arrived15 minutes early to get paperwork done per their request. We had 2 calls from this office the day before to remind us of the appointment and both times were told to arrive early to fill out paperwork. Why would office personnel tell people to arrive early if the office doesn't open till 9:00. DO NOT GO HERE!

When leaving a voicemail, their business hours are listed, but I have never had anyone answer the phone during this time. At my last appointment with Dr. Perry, I was only seen for 5-10 minutes after driving for 2.5 hours to make it to the appointment. He left the room while I was still asking questions, and he walked to another room to see a patient next door. I asked the front desk if I could still speak with him in person, and they said he would call me after his appointments for the day. I never received a call, and I have been trying to make a follow up appointment for months to discuss my medical needs and concerns.

He did great getting me in ASAP for my 11mm stone and lithotripsy procedure... but they did not follow up (on an anesthetic procedure!), they attempted to schedule no follow up Appt either. And they did NOT reach out to me about getting my stone sample! And I worked hard for those stone collections! That should have been my first clue... .....AND THEN.... Now my biggest concern is my most recent visit. I went to the ER for basically kidney pain, headache, lethargy and vomiting. They did a UA, urine culture and CT among other things. The ER doctor and the radiologist BOTH agreed I had a significant kidney infection. After 3 days of not getting better, (per the ERs recommendation) I went back to the ER and had everything repeated and that time they said I had a urine infection. I booked an emergency Appt with Dr Bailey as this was my recommendation and was absolutely *heartbroken* and shocked by this visit. After 2 hours of waiting at an appointment I, myself, arrived early for, Dr Bailey came in. He basically sat down, stoned face and said rather quickly, "I read the reports and you're fine, no infections at all" and basically went silent, stared at me. As I started to cry (because am I crazy? Was the pain real? Can I trust the ER? SOMETHING had to have been wrong with me!?) he just left the room, tears streaming down my face. No elaborations, No apology for his behavior, and no "let's do our own tests to confirm etc" NOTHING. He also gave me the impression to stop all antibiotics because I have nothing, right? But it gets better.. The following day I had a follow up with my endocrinologist, a wonderfully gifted doctor of the endocrine system and internal medicine. She read the reports, the CT scans saw the UA. She told me I definitely have a kidney infection. And confirmed for me to continue the antibiotics prescribed from the first ER visit. Ever since his *appalling* treatment and my terrible experience, I've been thinking about it a lot and feeling sad/mad/upset/let down over and over. I made the decision that other people needed to know about my experience through these reviews and to immediately change to a different urologist myself. Basically *please* do not go here or you'll receive below standards of caring, waiting hours for an appointment and zero compassion from Dr Bailey.

The doctor that returned my call was rude, condescending and acted like I was wasting his time. He told me to take Tylenol and AZO. I told him that would only treat the symptoms. What about the infection? I had a consistent fever with chills for days around 100/101. He told me they don't consider it a fever until temperature is 103, so do not call back until then. I told him I'd be in the hospital by that time as bad as I was feeling. He said coldly, "Call me from the hospital." Rude, uncaring and unprofessional. After seeking help elsewhere, it tuned out I had a kidney infection that was resistant to antibiotics. If I had taken North Dallas Urology Associates' advice to ignore the infection (until hospitalized) I could have become septic and died. The complete lack of compassion and care at this office is scary...and dangerous.

I called and left a message on a Friday and the call was finally returned on Tuesday. The intake coordinator for new patients is extremely rude and had a "Karen" attitude like she can't be bothered and her time is being wasted. She immediately attacked me for not being able to respond to the first 2 calls. If this is the attitude of all the MD's staff, I'd suggest looking elsewhere. There many urologist competing for patients in the area.
