Thank you Dr. Martin for competent service at the McKinney, Tx office. However, you set medical…read morepractice back in time at least 100 years. Dentists use Novocain, colonoscopies use IV sedation. The Wild West had Laudanum 200 years ago. But you don't have time for that? I walked into a difficult catheter and bladder scope done quickly without any anesthetics. Your work is clearly competent. But the most pain I have ever experienced. Where is the standard of care? Why not advise patients to bring a sedative? This was terrible for me.

After finishing the latest round of antibiotics, I then became very sick and called the office for help. The doctor that returned my call was rude, condescending and acted like I was wasting his time. He told me to take Tylenol and AZO. I told him that would only treat the symptoms. What about the infection? I had a consistent fever with chills for days around 100/101. He told me they don't consider it a fever until temperature is 103, so do not call back until then. I told him I'd be in the hospital by that time as bad as I was feeling. He said coldly, "Call me from the hospital." Rude, uncaring and unprofessional. After seeking help elsewhere, it tuned out I had a kidney infection that was resistant to antibiotics. If I had taken North Dallas Urology Associates' advice to ignore the infection (until hospitalized) I could have become septic and died. The complete lack of compassion and care at this office is scary...and dangerous.

Few urologists have in-house imaging equipment of any kind. Dr Perry is so passionate about his craft that he has invested in the very best imaging equipment in existence - better than the imaging centers and equal to any hospital! His zeal for his field of practice is matched by an equal passion for life and people. He is truly a rare breed and an absolute joy to interact with. Front desk staff reflect the same care and attention. I actually look forward to my visits here!

Tried to call to verify around a week before the requested date, only to be asked for info that I had already supplied. There is no way to reach anyone via phone, and they are slow to text back via the advised way to "quickly" reach someone. I was going to transfer from another doctor, but due to this experience, I am exploring my options with other Urologists in the local area. It must be nice to have a patient base that is so large, that you become allergic to money. Do yourself a favor and find another doctor and office that cares. On to the next . . .
