Dr Huddleston is a very competent urologist. His business practices and his practice's lack of…read morecustomer service make me encourage you to find your medical care elsewhere. There is only an 800 number for this practice which goes to a central answering service. You will never be able to call the office directly. Can only leave a message. Can't talk directly to a nurse or assistant. I recently had a scheduled telemedicine visit and the doctor did not call as per the appointment I made. He did, though, call 45 minutes later. The office did not call or text to advise of the delay or to request a reschedule. By the time he finally called I was already back at work. I expressed my displeasure and the fact that I did not appreciate the lack of value for my time. I told him I didn't have time to speak with him as he so greatly disregarded our appointment and I would let him know if/when I needed his services in the future. The final insult arrived today when I received a notice from my insurance company that he actually had the nerve to file a claim. Believe me, I will be in touch with his office and have already filed a protest with my insurance. You can take your chances with Dr Huddleston and I encourage you to look elsewhere should you need a urologist. You can thank me later. I believe the practice is Urology Associates of North Texas.

He did a great job communicating how the procedure would work, and the risks. Turned out I had a prostate that like to bleed, so my procedure ending up being more challenging for him. As a result I did end up spending the night in the hospital (I was the last procedure for the day, so might have been different if I was the first). As it turns out, I'm glad I spent that night in the hospital, as the nurse kept fluids flowing through my urethra throughout the night, which I think was very beneficial for me. Had minor leaking for about a week, and since then life has been pretty normal. Stream is better than I ever remember, urges are less, and still training with Kegel exercises to improve control. Office appointments were always on time, and Dr. Huddleston took the time to answer all of my questions. Shout out to the nurses who draw blood as well; painless and quick!

This review pertains to Dr Bailey at Urology Clinics of North Texas. Quite possibly the WORST…read moreExperience with a medical professional happened here!!! He did great getting me in ASAP for my 11mm stone and lithotripsy procedure... but they did not follow up (on an anesthetic procedure!), they attempted to schedule no follow up Appt either. And they did NOT reach out to me about getting my stone sample! And I worked hard for those stone collections! That should have been my first clue... .....AND THEN.... Now my biggest concern is my most recent visit. I went to the ER for basically kidney pain, headache, lethargy and vomiting. They did a UA, urine culture and CT among other things. The ER doctor and the radiologist BOTH agreed I had a significant kidney infection. After 3 days of not getting better, (per the ERs recommendation) I went back to the ER and had everything repeated and that time they said I had a urine infection. I booked an emergency Appt with Dr Bailey as this was my recommendation and was absolutely *heartbroken* and shocked by this visit. After 2 hours of waiting at an appointment I, myself, arrived early for, Dr Bailey came in. He basically sat down, stoned face and said rather quickly, "I read the reports and you're fine, no infections at all" and basically went silent, stared at me. As I started to cry (because am I crazy? Was the pain real? Can I trust the ER? SOMETHING had to have been wrong with me!?) he just left the room, tears streaming down my face. No elaborations, No apology for his behavior, and no "let's do our own tests to confirm etc" NOTHING. He also gave me the impression to stop all antibiotics because I have nothing, right? But it gets better.. The following day I had a follow up with my endocrinologist, a wonderfully gifted doctor of the endocrine system and internal medicine. She read the reports, the CT scans saw the UA. She told me I definitely have a kidney infection. And confirmed for me to continue the antibiotics prescribed from the first ER visit. Ever since his *appalling* treatment and my terrible experience, I've been thinking about it a lot and feeling sad/mad/upset/let down over and over. I made the decision that other people needed to know about my experience through these reviews and to immediately change to a different urologist myself. Basically *please* do not go here or you'll receive below standards of caring, waiting hours for an appointment and zero compassion from Dr Bailey.

If I could give the office no stars I would. I have been going to this office for about 2 years or…read moremore. I have only seen Dr. Gordon once. That was on my first visit. Every time since I have seen the PA. I am not sure where Dr Gordon is. I had a procedure scheduled for kidney stones. The hospital didn't have me scheduled. Every time you call the doctor's office you have to speak to an agent. I was on hold 20 minutes at a time trying to get the mess straightened out. I talked to over 10 people that day. One person says, " I don't even know why they put you to me?" The doctor's office blamed the hospital. So I had it rescheduled for Tuesday. Over the weekend I had to go to the emergency room for pain. The PA had not given me strong pain meds. So I wouldn't have spent money at the emergency room if I had the procedure when it was supposed to be scheduled . Then once again the procedure was not scheduled for the 2nd time. So I go through the whole thing once again. I was told by the doctor's office to get a x-ray before my post op appointment. I never had heard of getting your own x-ray the doctor's office always schedules that for you. I call the x-ray facility. They say, "We need an order from your doctor before you can come in," I call the office and someone was supposed to call back and never did. I had to call again the next day. The lady at the office said, "You don't need an order before you go, they can call us. " I said, "No they said they need an order before." I explained I needed it done today before the post op appointment tomorrow. She then hung up on me while I was speaking. At my post op I told the PA all the troubles. She said sorry but pretty much blew it off. She said, it was just a coincidence that it happened so many times to me. I highly doubt that. It has to be happening to a lot of patients. I have never seen such an unorganized office. I was told I would get a call about my radiology report. I never did so I called back. No one ever has returned my call. So I am done at this point. I faxed a authorization to get my records sent to another urologist. This was almost a month ago. No big surprise here! I got a call from the new urologist office that they had not received my records. So I call and leave a message. No one calls back. I call again the next day.She says, "Oh I don't know why they didn't get sent." I said, "Can you send them today?" She said she would do it right then. Then they never got them. So I call again. She gets a attitude with me. She says," UGH!!!!" I tell her she doesn't have to get an attitude with me. She didn't say the end of the day. I have never experienced an office with such rude, incompetent, and unprofessional people. I have never been talked to this way at a doctor's office ever. None of this was my fault at all that things weren't done or scheduled right. The PA and Dr Gordon were polite to me but I won't continue to go be treated this way by their staff. Quite frankly it is scary that they can't call back about a test or schedule correctly. I have never written a bad review of a doctor's office, but this one is certainly justified!

She shows amazing bedside manner in a situation that most people would find quite frustrating. I love it her low key approach to pharmaceuticals, and her more natural recommendations.
