Honestly worst doctor in Glendale ! I have heared from many people how she dosent care . But she is the only doctor who excepts walk ins so I gave it a try ! Worst thing ! Her MA are the worst fucken rude don't know how to deal with patients . Sheila takes forever to come out sitting in her office just eating ! Her MA gave my oldest daughter her shots wrong as I am also a MA so I know . But I still gave her the benefit of the dought because she seemed to innocent . But once she did my little ones shot she Hurt her Did the TB wrong . Poked her twice ! I left LIVID OUT OF THERE ! Took 3 hours and a half !!! They should not take walk ins or extra appt if they are understaffed and are slow !!!!!!!! Never will I come here again ! read more

dont recommend this place!! One of girls there (who was being trained btw...) gave me two shots and completely did them wrong, I instantly knew! I am a nursing student so I just knew right away that something was wrong, just by the way she prepped me and how she was completely unknowledgeable of what she was doing. She continuously had to leave the room to ask another nurse what to do next or what to ask me. She was so unsanitary by not wearing gloves when prepping my shots and she noticed that I have been watching her the whole entire time and threw away her materials and started ALL OVER again with gloves on. I should've known to just walk out the second I saw her TOUCHING the actual needle with her bare hands but these shots were completely needed but I regret so much not leaving this cheap, unprofessional, unsanitary place the moment I stepped place here. My whole appointment was just so unprofessional. I came back the next day with a swollen lump on my arm and told one of the ladies at the desk and they genuinely couldn't care less. The Dr saw me and just told me to ice it and didn't even care to know who was the girl who did my shots. Well, couple months later, I am still left with this lump on my arm! the staff is incredibly sweet and helped me get formula when there was a shortage but sheila's way of wording things when it comes to my child were insensitive and unnecessarly aggressive. she wouldn't even refill a prescription for diaper cream without doing a $100 visit first. she is very old school and her office truly reflects how out of date she is. she does have new staff quite often which i didn't love because in one occasion it seemed as though she was having a hard time injecting him and end up bruising him pretty badly. her referrals are very out of date aswell. i ultimately decided to change doctors for my son, no need to have my son hear the way she speaks about him in regards to his weight when he's a baby. read more

Dr. Sheila and staff are very efficient and nice. We normally see Dr Debnath however we saw her son, who's demeanor was very kind and funny! Both my children enjoyed being seen by him. The back office staff was very sweet and patient. Both kids had physicals and they made sure to explain the process. Even offering them candy if they were good! The Dr was very informative, he provided information about the vaccines the children were getting rather than just giving them it and not informing me of the potential side effects. The office is a little outdated but very clean. The parking is small, however they do have plenty of street parking. Overall this office is a good office. We didn't have to wait long to be seen, considering we live 30 minutes away! read more

I am beyond livid with the lack of communication at this office... I am a new patient and made an appointment for my daughter. I called on Wednesday 1/5 to confirm the appointment. The woman on the phone confirmed our time for that Friday 1/7. I show up for my child's appointment and THE FREAKIN OFFICE IS CLOSED DUE TO "SANITATION"... I'm sorry WHY THE HECK would you not call your patients to cancel the appointments scheduled for that time. Clearly someone got covid if you're going to shut down the office for 5 days... BUT THAT DOES NOT MEAN YOU DONT CALL TO CANCEL AND RESCHEDULE YOUR PATIENTS APPOINTMENTS. Who in the world doesn't inform their patients that their appointment is canceled. This place is a joke. I changed my PCP recently to this doctor because the man (from my insurance company) helped me over the phone said this pediatrician also treats adults. Boy, was I wrong. From the moment I walked in, I knew it was a mistake coming in. The entire facility is disgusting, dingy, and tacky as hell. I felt uncomfortable because a doctors office is NOT supposed to look like what that place looks like. Super cluttered, hideous orange walls that are covered in old posters of Disney characters and other random "kid-friendly" photos. There's also a random Jesus picture on the wall, which further makes the place look so unprofessional. The doctor herself was incredibly rude to me. All I asked for was a referral to a specific OBGYN that was in the medical group she was in, and she snapped at me saying I can't just come into her office and ask for a referral to the doctor of my choosing. I was like ?????? Uhhhh yes I can because I called the OBGYN office myself and they told me exactly what to do. She huffed and finally took that doctors info down. She was done with me within minutes and told me the authorization will take a week. 0/10 take yourself and/or your child elsewhere unless you enjoy run-down creepy doctor offices. read more

I loved her when I met her. She seemed super authentic. Her staff seemed great and supportive. I was on the lookout for a new PCP so I thought this would be a great fit. But God forbid, when I had an actual painful medical situation, her staff as well as her not only treated me like an animal but while I'm in the middle of pain, started lecturing me about... litigation. Funny thing is, I'm a law student and I know this behavior. My mother is a pediatrician and was head of department & even dean of medicine at many hospitals around the world. I grew up in an environment where patients were treated like humans and their illnesses and pain were met with sympathy and compassion. Sometimes, that's ALL a patient needs from a doctor - trust me. My interaction with this office only made me believe that they're more concerned about not getting sued (which probably means they've had terribly too many experiences with that). I wish more sick people are able to advocate for themselves in this climate of doctor's fear instead of care. I'm not going to expect all doctors to be 100% wonderful, and maybe yes, part of me is biased and used to better healthcare and treatment and access, which thank God was a privilege - but I honestly feel like Primary Care Physicians that primarily care about their patients as human beings are not nonexistent in this country. And how they train their staff to deal with patients is equally important. I thought her staff wasn't reflective of her, but when I spoke to her, I realized that her staff behaved the way she did because of the kind of attitude and training the doctor must have imparted on her. So I don't want to blame the staff, who's just doing her job as told - I guess. Having said that, I wouldn't care what my boss said, I'd personally set my own set of principles. According to the doctor, she is very busy with lots of sick children - which, having grown up in and around dozens of children's hospitals and clinics, I think is a sad excuse. My mother used to see over a 100 patients (neonatal, Children, adults) a day when she started, and many dozens a day, she's never made anyone feel that their medical problems/concerns were less important than others. I don't go to doctors just so my problems can be compared with another patient with a more serious illness. My problem is my problem. Due to some muscle spasms, I'm unable to stand and walk today, and so I had a question for the doctor. I wanted advise on how I can get through the day so I can muster a little more ability to drive and go to her office later. Patients have a right to speak to their doctors. I already have prescribed medications from my previous episodes - I didn't even call for meds. But her staff blatantly refused to give me any time to talk to her. No advise/nothing. More robotic litigation talk. Very upsetting. I don't doubt for a second that you're a good, experienced doctor, I'm sure you are, but if you can't treat all your patients equally, with an ounce of compassion and sympathy, please kindly don't tell them that you'll be their doctor and primary "caregiver." I will start with the positive. The staff is always friendly and helpful, which is amazing in itself, given the conditions they work in and who they work for. Also, the office is (or was, last time I checked) open until 6 pm M-F and until 2 on Saturday, which is very convenient for working parents. The rest of my review is not so positive. The office is very small and dirty, so much so that I was dismayed. The staff and patients are tripping over one another, and the waiting room can comfortably hold only 2 families. I sincerely hope they don't double book appointments. Often you have to stand outside because there is nowhere to sit inside. I do not care for Dr. Debnath personally. At the initial visit, unprovoked and for some unknown reason, she went on and on about how wealthy she was and how her sons are doctors too. I found this to be in very poor taste. I've seen her a few times since and sometimes she is pleasant and other times she is rude and disrespectful. I also do not like the way she talks down to her staff. I finally decided I don't want to deal with her anymore and I have switched doctors. read more

Dr Sheila was my doctor when I was a kid. I was always under the weather. For 10 years she prescribed the same rotation of antibiotics, it got to the point where at 10 years old I knew exactly what she would prescribe before she prescribed it. When my mom finally got tired of it she switched my doc. This one suggested a tonsillectomy, something Sheila never did. After my surgery I was rarely sick. My kid goes to Dr. Sheila from last 5 years, but recently my company change the insurance and unfortunately my copay got increase to $50, My wife didn't had that idea and she went to see the doctor with my son (on 02/12/2013). They ask her to pay the copay before Doctor see my son, and with that she was only $3 short, she offer $47 with all change she had; but they said they need to have complete $50 o/w Dr. won't see him. Even my wife told them they she'll come back and pay the rest of the money. This is totally ridiculous; we're going to this doctor from last 5 years. If this whole period can't build this kind of trust that too especially in Medical profession then I don't see a point going to her. I know this has nothing to do with the how's Dr herself but I thought I should share with everybody. I kind of find Dr Sheila ok, as many time my kid complain the stomach pain and we took him to Dr. but I never got a satisfactory answer regarding the pain. P.S. Even the pharmacist was shocked ! The starting age for dimetapp is 6 years old !! . She doesn't follow covid regulations , had so many people and sick kids jammed up in that tiny office I had to leave!. Her staff is very friendly, the first time I met her I had an awful rash that multiple physicians were not able to treat, but she did a great job finding the right treatment for me. I have known Dr. Sheila for many years, and she has always offered very thorough care for us. I realize that not everyone has the same experience at the doctors office, but mine has always been good. She is thoughtful and is very good at explaining things when we have questions. Her staff is nice and has always been accommodating to us. I trust her professional opinion and have referred some of my best friends to her, to bring their children in. I even had one of my best friends, who had an issue with her daughter, ask for advice and she spent time on the phone to explain why this happens with children sometimes. This review is for Dr. Debnath herself. Her office staff are great, always welcoming, efficient and have great bedside manner. Dr. Debnath is another story altogether. She does not take adequate time to give my kids a thorough checkup before diagnosing them and 10 times of 10 she prescribes an antibiotic without even being sure that the infection is bacterial. Is she educated on the fact that over-prescribing antibiotics is very dangerous? She looked at an old spider bite of my daughter's, barely a quick glance and diagnosed her with cellulitis. Basically from her way in to the door to her way over to the computer, she glanced over and then promptly diagnosed. My husband asked her, are you sure you don't want to come over and take a look at it? To that she completely ignored him. What came next? Ten day course of oral antibiotics, of course! This office is typical of the Medi-Cal health plan doctors that fit 10 patients in 1 time slot. Overcrowded and full attention is not given to each patient. Not to mention her office is very dirty and dingy. Looks like my kids could catch an infection just by sitting on the checkup table. Thanks but no thanks. read more

Although I did think the staff and doctor were friendly and polite, I didn't feel comfortable with the cluttered facility. Its my kids healthcare I'm dealing with, so I changed provders soon after. Sheila has been our Pcp for over 5 years she treats both my son and daughter. I love coming to her office the staff is friendly and professional. I was having insurance issues once while my child was haveing a fever Noemi and monica helped me resolve the issue in a timely manner and offered assistance to a temporary coverage. The doctor is knowledgable and able to diagnose and treat my children effiently. She is quick with a response pertaining to my children's health. I have been going to Dr.Debnath since I was 5 years old and I am now starting my freshman year of college. She's an amazing kind hearted person, who works very hard and truly is the best at understanding patients and parents with health concerns or simple check ups. Sadly this was by far the most unprofessional office I have ever been to. The office is dirty and cluttered, the staff is not well educated and the doctor is rushed, rude and shoved antibiotics at my child (we were there for a physical).
