She has always answered all my questions, and when I had questions about vaccines or medication, she gave me options and always explained everything thoroughly. I love and appreciate that she is also very honest. I want to recognize her staff, Ray, and her nurse, Kathy. They are always so friendly, and Katherine is always so good with my kids when she gives them a shot; they don't mind it. And what else can I say, they have always taken care of us very well. It is time for this woman to retire…read more Dr Khanna is the worst physician I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with, and the fact that I have subjected my daughter and husband to this woman's vitriolic "bedside manner" is one of the greatest regrets of my life. Dr Khanna is the rudest, meanest and cruelest person, let alone pediatrician, and she should be reported to a medical board for unprofessional conduct and poor service provided to patients. I gave birth at Verdugo Hills and was assigned Dr Khanna upon my daughter's birth. She insinuated that my husband and I were trying to kill our child due to her drop in weight post birth. The extreme mental toll her "care" took while in the hospital pushed me beyond the brink. That sort of behavior with postpartum mothers is borderline malpractice. I should have switched insurance post birth but I didn't have the bandwidth postpartum. I also wanted to give a pediatrician the benefit of the doubt - we all have bad days. It turns out, that's just who she is. We've received the same unacceptable behavior outside of the hospital. She refuses to spend more than 5 minutes with new parents, dismissed concerns and questions and only cares if your baby is eating formula or not. She is incredibly unwelcoming, unsupportive, and borderline inhuman. She does not answer questions and glossed over all of my concerns with robotic responses that do not address my individual child. She bullies parents into submission without allowing any sort of conversation about the child's health and treats people so unfairly. The gaslighting is unreal. At our 2 month visit she punted our baby's vaccinations to her staff and didn't bother to administer herself, which I've never experienced. She also had my husband administer an oral vaccination to our child. What is a doctor for if we're DIY-ing a shot? In an attempt to get a new pediatrician, it took two weeks to get a copy of my daughter's medical records. Btw - she is her own "on call doctor." She chastised me for daring to call the "on call doctor" after hours instead of immediately taking my daughter to an emergency room - is that not what an on call doctor is for? To help decide if a situation is emergent? It's so unprofessional and deters parents from seeking medical attention. How bad are the practice's finances if she is acting as her own on doctor? She is the worst "decision" I've ever made. She should be ashamed of herself for how she treats her patients - I know I am for letting her interact with my child. I was so nervous and scared about taking care of a baby for the first time and stressed about having a hard time breastfeeding. Dr. Bursch provided us with so much reassurance and made me feel so calm. We now have 3 children and feel so fortunate to have them cared for my Dr. Bursch and all the doctors and staff at Glendale Pediatrics. My children have seen nearly every physician at this practice for sick visits and each and every doctor has treated us with care, compassion and respect. All the physicians are knowledgeable and skilled at caring for children. Our interactions with all the office staff including receptions, medical assistants and nurses have all been positive and we are truly appreciative of their care.

The exceptional patient care starts when your child is just one day old. Glendale Pediatrics has a partnership with Huntington Hospital where the pediatricians will do rounds at the maternity ward for all incoming newborn patients. This was where we met both Dr Feuille and Dr Bursch, who were outstanding. During this critical time, they closely examined our newborn, addressed our concerns as newly minted parents, and helped put our minds at ease. It was clear we were getting top quality care for our daughter from the beginning. Once Adele was doing well enough to be discharged from the hospital, we began seeing Dr Saavedra in clinic for regular check-ups. Dr Saavedra is outstanding; she is knowledgeable, empathetic, and a tireless advocate for her patients. When Adele had a jaundice scare when she was two weeks old, Dr Saavedra personally called local hospitals to find a NICU that could admit Adele as soon as possible. Throughout the remainder of the next few years, the practice offers 24/7 support - you can call in at any hour of the day if you have a question about you child's well-being. For emergencies, there is a pediatrician from the staff that is always on-call at any time. From my experience, they call back within just a few hours, often faster. Yes, the office charges an administrative fee, but my opinion is that it is absolutely worth it for the support and care that your family will receive. Glendale Pediatrics receives my highest recommendation.

Bringing up something that significant in front of a young child without any warning or discussion with the parents first felt incredibly unprofessional and insensitive. My daughter was visibly upset and confused afterward, and we were left trying to explain and reassure her. A pediatrician should know how to discuss sensitive topics with care. Yet twice now, appointments were cancelled at the last minute over "insurance verification" issues that should never have been a problem in the first place. A few months ago, my daughter's appointment was confirmed the day before and I called the practice just an hour beforehand, only for us to arrive and be told the office hadn't verified her insurance in time. They couldn't see her. Last week, the same thing happened with my son. Only 20 minutes before his appoinment, the office called me to cancel, again citing insurance verification. I was promised a call the next day once things were sorted out with the insurance, and we rescheduled for a week later at the same time. That week has come and gone -- no call, they failed to reschedule the appointment. I just called and I was told they could not see him today. No appoinment was booked and insurance was not veirfied. If a practice can't manage to verify a longstanding PPO patient's insurance with any advance notice, that's an internal process failure, not an insurance problem. Twice we've rearranged our schedules only to be turned away last minute, and twice we've been given promises that weren't kept. I can't recommend this office until they fix this. This is very upsetting and disappointing.
