We have been seeing the physicians at Glendale Pediatrics since our first child was born in 2014. I remember the very first time meeting Dr. Bursch in my hospital room. I was so nervous and scared about taking care of a baby for the first time and stressed about having a hard time breastfeeding. Dr. Bursch provided us with so much reassurance and made me feel so calm. We now have 3 children and feel so fortunate to have them cared for my Dr. Bursch and all the doctors and staff at Glendale Pediatrics. My children have seen nearly every physician at this practice for sick visits and each and every doctor has treated us with care, compassion and respect. All the physicians are knowledgeable and skilled at caring for children. Our interactions with all the office staff including receptions, medical assistants and nurses have all been positive and we are truly appreciative of their care. read more

I can't say enough kind things about this practice. My daughter, Adele, is now 2 and a half years old. Sadly, we have to leave this practice because we are moving to another city. The exceptional patient care starts when your child is just one day old. Glendale Pediatrics has a partnership with Huntington Hospital where the pediatricians will do rounds at the maternity ward for all incoming newborn patients. This was where we met both Dr Feuille and Dr Bursch, who were outstanding. During this critical time, they closely examined our newborn, addressed our concerns as newly minted parents, and helped put our minds at ease. It was clear we were getting top quality care for our daughter from the beginning. Once Adele was doing well enough to be discharged from the hospital, we began seeing Dr Saavedra in clinic for regular check-ups. Dr Saavedra is outstanding; she is knowledgeable, empathetic, and a tireless advocate for her patients. When Adele had a jaundice scare when she was two weeks old, Dr Saavedra personally called local hospitals to find a NICU that could admit Adele as soon as possible. Throughout the remainder of the next few years, the practice offers 24/7 support - you can call in at any hour of the day if you have a question about you child's well-being. For emergencies, there is a pediatrician from the staff that is always on-call at any time. From my experience, they call back within just a few hours, often faster. Yes, the office charges an administrative fee, but my opinion is that it is absolutely worth it for the support and care that your family will receive. Glendale Pediatrics receives my highest recommendation. read more

My son has been with Glendale Pediatrics since the very beginning and I don't know why I haven't thought to leave a review. We'd been seen by different doctors within this group and I have always felt like they really cared about my child's health and my concerns. They have never made me feel uncomfortable or embarrassed in being honest with my concerns. They listened and offered honest and helpful advice. I would highly recommend them for anyone with a child who needs a primary doctor. And the office workers and assistants are just as wonderful and helpful. read more

We had our first appointment with Dr. Meyer in December and were blown away with how thorough she was, and the amount of time she took to get to know her patients. She covered everything you could think of in terms of the types of conversations you'd want your doctor to have with your kids. I was so impressed, and am thrilled to be joining this practice. The front office staff was also great. read more

Once great something has changed. This place now charges an annual membership fee But today we cancelled an appointment and they charged us $75. $75 to not waste their time or ours because the issue had been resolved. We are now looking for a better place. read more

The best pediatrics office ever! Every single doctor we've seen here has been so polite and knowledgeable. I love that you can use the patient portal to send messages -- they always get back to you quickly, even on Saturdays! All the doctors take their time to answer every question, and most importantly, they make the kids feel completely at ease. Highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a great pediatrician! read more

Dr Bursch is our son's pediatrician & he's beyond amazing. Even though we have been seen by Dr Mayer at the beginning and she's great too. Dr. Bursch has this approach which is a combination of Dr-parent. He puts us at ease if we're worried for no reason & educates us on other times. He takes his time during thorough examinations which doesn't start until he plays peek a boo with our son. He loves Dr Bursch! The best part about Glendale peds is there are 9 Dr's at this establishment so you can make same day appointments if your child is sick. Be prepared to wait longer though & the entrance is separate than a well visit. Super clean and they make referrals pretty quickly whenever needed. The aquarium is definitely a nice touch! And the valet if you're driving by yourself with a newborn. read more

Dr iyer has been hands down the best pediatrician ever! She is so caring and very attentive. She catches things other doctors have overlooked. She is always educating me while doing her exam. Grateful to have found such a wonderful doctor for my kids read more

Brought my son here as a newborn and we are so pleased with the care and compassion that the staff continually provide us. We met with 4 different providers over the course of the year (due to my/my husband's work scheduling conflicts with our primary doctor), and we have loved every one of them. Every doctor was attentive, listened to our concerns, and provided the most updated research driven data to address any questions. My husband and I also greatly appreciate that there is a 'sick child' waiting area and a 'well child' waiting area. Helped put our minds at ease knowing that we would not be picking up any unwanted germs from the waiting area! read more

Can't say enough good things about Glendale Peds. Dr Saavedra is our daughter's pediatrician and she is truly a blessing in our lives. I appreciate how she cared for my needs as well as my daughter in the early newborn period. The office is quite seamless and it's easy to navigate things. They are organized and follow up on appointments or any needs we may have related to retrieving records. read more

TO ALL THE PARENTS, please don't bring your kids here and deal with this attitude! I've been coming here for three years, and the doctors are excellent and very experienced. However, the administrative team lacks professionalism and courtesy. I wasn't surprised that the manager, with the training everyone seems to have received (a female with a harsh tone who sounds older), was extremely rude and aggressive. She was neither kind nor polite, and she didn't listen to any of my questions or concerns. Every time she spoke, it felt like she was attacking and ridiculing me nonstop. TO THE OWNER, your team needs to improve her management skills and manner! She is miserable if she doesn't like that job she needs to go looking for different jobs. I can tell you want to build a reputable business, but parents don't need to come here and deal with attitude! read more

I love this hospital. My daughter is a patient of Dr. Meyer, but she has seen other doctors as well: The wait times are variable. I've found that when I come in for a sick patient appointment, I'm more likely to wait, but I also understand because I am aware that they are accommodating me. Typically the wellness appointments are on time. The doctors and the care she receives there make up for any of the wait regardless. I have not had a negative experience there and the staff has always been very kind to her and me. Dr. Meyer and Dr Fan are my favorites but all the doctors have been great. They're so popular, a lot of my neighbors take their kids there as well and this is BEFORE I told them that my child is a patient there. So grateful for this practice. read more

We have been bringing our son to Glendale Peds since he was born (he is now almost 1 year old), and have had a phenomenal experience. We see Dr. Saavedra (who is amazing) but have seen others for sick visits, etc and have always had great experiences. I really appreciate that they have both sick and well waiting rooms, and how easy to access the care is (very accessible online portal with quick responses, and I've never been sent to a voicemail when I call). Every doctor we've spoken to has been extremely knowledgeable and passionate about caring for children. We've had to access sick visits a couple times and each time we were able to get in easily without issue. Many of the staff trained and still collaborate with CHLA which is also great. Highly recommend! read more

I have been bringing my children here for years and no longer will!!!! These doctors do not care for you unless you pay admin fee they will make you feel less for not participating in it. Not to mention how hard it is to get an appointment for my sick children you will call call an they will always say they are full. The doctors are pushing vaccines not caring about my own personal beliefs for the safety of my kids knowing that there have been children harmed by vaccines not to mention the wait times are long if you want to spend more money for mediocre care then go here read more

Very happy with our pediatrician here. Dr meyer makes each visit welcoming. She listens and offers great advice/suggestions.

Amazing place with excellent Dr.s. They make especially the early childhood part feel a bit easier.

Not sure why the 3.5 stars. My kids see Dr. Fan. She is great with my kids. She has great bedside manner and also takes the time to listen to our concerns. She is very knowledgeable and I'd recommend my friends and family to this practice. read more

I've never been told in my life that no, we will not treat your kid. My family have been patients of Glendale Pediatrics for over 11 years. Been taking my other two kids there for years. They refused to see my youngest because she hadn't had all her shots. And she was suffering from ear infection. REALLY? First off, the shots are my choice. As a parent, I get to decide which shots she will have and which she won't. And you refuse medical care to someone who is a patient that needs urgent care now because of this? Avoid this place. Used to be a good office with good docs. Now seems to be a cold business. read more

WE LOVE GLENDALE PEDIATRICS!!!!!!! With two little ones, we are regularly visiting the office for one issue or another, and have always had an incredibly positive experience from start to finish. In fact, my older daughter told me after today's appointment, "I love Dr. Henry!" Dr. Henry is simply the best, he is knowledgeable, warm, kind, and never makes us feel rushed - we always leave feeling grateful for the level of attention and care he provides. We've regularly had to schedule day-of sick appointments for the kiddos too (and it is never an issue - SO appreciate the flexibility of the office!) and all of the other doctors we've seen are also equally kind, helpful and attentive. Not to mention, we've had to call the after-hours line a few times for late night advice and they are always there for us. What would we do without Glendale Pediatrics!?! I'd give them 100 stars if I could (and our kids would too :) read more

100% recommend this place to anyone who asks for pediatrician recommendations. I think very highly of them and I am not just a mom but a medical professional as well. They are timely, efficient, understanding, responsive, to parents and healthcare providers alike! While Dr.Bursch is our favorite you can't go wrong with any of the doctors here, from the most senior to the most junior. My kiddos and the parents I know that go here are treated with the most respect and I love that! read more

Glendale Pediatrics - We love Dr.Bursch! - Pediatricians Near Me - Glendale, California

Everyone at Glendale Pediatrics is fantastic and so easy to work with. We regularly see Dr Saavedra and Dr Meyer and have seen almost every other doctor in the practice for miscellaneous visits and they are all incredibly kind, extremely knowledgeable and thoughtful in their care. Nobody in the practice recommends unnecessary tests or visits but they all also listen to your concerns with genuine kindness and empathy and will ensure you have appropriate follow up for any issues. The MAs are so kind and have excellent bedside manner also. The front desk staff is always cheerful and efficient. Even their billing department is easy to connect with and work with when we had an insurance miscommunication. The patient portal is very easy to use and we've always had very quick responses for any inquiries. I appreciate that the doctors are connected with CHLA so when our daughter had to go to the emergency room after a sick visit, we were able to get efficient and expedited care. I cannot recommend this practice enough and am so grateful to have found a place where I can trust the lives of my little ones will be well cared for consistently by doctors as if it was their own child. read more

My child is 15 and he said he will never see another a doctor that's how much he loves Dr Bursch! He has been going to Glendale Peds since the day he was born! All the doctors and staff are great, never once had any issue. Dr Bursch, thanks for being so kind and all your great advice! I have read some of the reviews about wait times being long and staff being rude and honestly out of the 15 years we have be going to Glendale Peds I've never had one issue. I love the staff, they are always polite helpful. read more

Dr. Henry is an amazing pediatrician. But what happened to the rest of the staff? Why are the nurses so mean? Why do they ask you to undress your newborn and make them wait in the cold exam room for 45 minutes before the doctor arrives? Why do they call you to tell you there's been a cancellation and come early and only to tell you once you've arrived that it's not in the system? It makes me wonder. Is it me? Did I do something to offend someone? I guess this is just one of this indignities of being a parent no one tells you about. read more

We picked a doctor here from a recommendation from my wife's obstetrician. When my son was born, Dr. Fan visited my son at Glendale Adventist. She was kind, gentle, and caring with my son. My son's first office visit was with Dr. Bursch. He was very friendly with a great sense of humor, something that lightens up a doctor visit. We all know that we get sometimes get nervous visiting doctors. Dr. Bursch performed my son's examination with great skill, all the while providing my wife and I very useful information. A week and a half later, our son was back at Glendale Pediatrics for his circumcision. To be honest, I was nervous about this even though the procedure wasn't being done on myself. We once again met Dr. Fan and she put my mind at ease as she explained in great detail how the procedure was going to work. My wife and I chose to stay in the room while the procedure was performed and we had zero worries about our son being in Dr. Fan's hands. After what seemed like an hour (it honestly was probably more like 10-15 mins), our son was returned to us and was examined one more time by Dr. Fan. She explained in great detail the aftercare for our son's procedure. Her calm demeanor is priceless when you're worried about the well being of your child. The staff has been nothing more than helpful and friendly during our two office visits. I will be choosing a pediatrician at Glendale Pediatrics for my two daughters as well. read more

My boys are so lucky to see Dr. Fan. She's kind, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. She makes my kids feel really comfortable and I trust we are in the best care. I know how hard it can be to find a great pediatrician, and I'm so happy to have found Dr. Fan. read more

We were given horrible medical advice from Dr. Iyer and we will never go back. We took our 2 week old baby for his first visit with a local pediatrician (he was born out of state and had seen other pediatricians there.) He was 9lbs and Dr Iyer told us he was overweight and that we needed to reduce his intake significantly. As brand new parents, we were very concerned; worried that we were over feeding or setting him up for an eating disorder or something. So, that night we tried cutting down his food. Needless to say, he cried and cried because he was hungry! It was devastating. The next morning we had a meeting with a professional who works with babies and she was very concerned, and said she had never heard of restricting food for a newborn. We also asked a friend who is an ER pediatrician and he said the advice we got from Dr Iyer was "bananas." Our new pediatrician was also APPALLED by another Dr telling new parents to restrict their newborn's food. I cannot imagine what would make Dr Iyer tell us that our 9 lb baby was too large and to basically put him on a diet. It seems like her medical philosophy is outdated and potentially dangerous. All other medical and child professionals I have asked have said, emphatically, that you feed a newborn on demand. Our current pediatrician is very pleased with how our baby is growing. He's healthy and happy, no thanks to Glendale Pediatrics. And, to echo other reviewers, the office staff sucks. When I called to cancel the follow up appointment that we made at the end of our first appointment, they had absolutely no interest in knowing why we were going to take our business elsewhere. You'd think would want feedback from patients, but nope. If they had let me explain our reasoning to them directly, I wouldn't have written this review, but they left me no other option. read more

All doctors are pretty much amazing !! Especially Dr Huer, Dr Henry , Dr Fan Thank you for your care and accommodations read more

We love Dr. Henry, so this review is on office management and the front desk. This office is terribly run. Our average wait time is an hour between the lobby and exam room - consistently. These are children (some of them are sick!) who are made to wait a long time because adults can't do their jobs right. The front desk staff is rude, and in reading the other reviews, I'm not alone. So now I'm appalled that the doctors would allow this staff to represent their brand. There are major systemic issues in that office that I accepted for over 10 years because we love Dr. Henry, but it got worse and we just couldn't tolerate it any longer and left. For everyone who loves the doctors but hate the staff, would you eat a filet mignon off a trash can lid? read more

Organized and great staff who are compassionate about patient care. We have been pts of this office since my daughter was born and I am happy I chose Glendale Peds from all options. Everyone has been great with our family since day # 1. Dr. Feuille is our pediatrician. read more

The staff is always so nice to my toddler . I love the fact that they care so much about their patients that they have a well room and a sick room. I had not picked a pediatrician for my daughter when she was born but in comes Dr. Bursch. The way he answered all my new mom questions and never once made me feel dumb. I told my husband this is my daughters doctor. I had to make sure my insurance would take him . I switched my insurance even if I had to pay more I didn't care . He has been my daughter dr for the last 2 years . He always tells you the truth and is always giving you advice based on the history of your kid . When he isn't around the other Dr are also very nice and knowledgeable. I would be willing to pay for better insurance to make sure my daughter has this level of care . Thank you Glendale Pediatrics . read more

This office has to be the WORSE peds ever!!! Management definitely needs to reevaluate every single girl working at the front office! There's absolutely no compassion or professionalism from the staff. I transferred my baby to another peds office this morning. Please believe these reviews, I didn't until I experienced it myself. Discriminating/Raciest office! I would fire every single on of them ASAP! Don't go here for the safety and well being of your child. read more

Both my children were patients of Glendale Peds for years until we moved out of CA in 2014. My children were either seen by Dr. Richard Feuille or Dr. Jennifer Hartstein. They are great pediatricians. Dr. Feuille performed our son's circumcision and Dr. Hartstein mainly took care of my daughter at well or sick-child visits. However, Dr. Feuille was quite insistent when it came to vaccines. Every single time I saw Dr. Feuille with my children, he would give me a lecture, pamphlets and handouts by Dr. Paul Offit to read and be "educated" on why my children should be vaccinated. I told him we were waiting til the children were older (5 and up) and that we would then follow Dr. Sears' advice regarding which vaccines to consider and when. The office reached a point where their policy became such that they would not see children who were unvaccinated. Anyhow, in 2014 our daughter received her first battery of vaccines including MMR. One year later, she was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. I reported the injury to VAERS, and I called the office to speak with Dr. Hartstein about what had happened. I told her what had happened and asked how she could be sure that vaccines were safe. She replied "because the vaccine makers told me they are." Then she gave me this spiel "Well, she must have had a genetic predisposition to type 1 diabetes and a virus must have set it off. Has she ever been sick?" NO WORDS. She ended the call saying she would not report the injury to VAERS because I could not prove that it was the MMR which had caused the onset. I told her I would be reporting it myself. I was not seeking compensation. I only wanted to warn her, to leave a rock in her shoe, so to speak. Anyhow, here were are all these years later. My daughter is 15 now and will live with type 1 diabetes til the day she dies. Parents, beware! Think for your children because you are their only advocate. EVERY VACCINE CAUSES INJURIES. My 2 children have been coming here since they were babies. At 17 & 18 they are still patients. We have met many doctors through the years. Dr F helped me manage a long term medical mystery with my son. He held my hand through out the process. He can be a bit tough but his intention is in the best interest of the child. Dr. Bursch, Henry and Fan are all wonderful. My complaint is the front office staff. The service level and kindness has been eroding through the years. It's "office policy" .... I brought in school medical forms. 5-7 business. $15 per page. $30 if I wanted to rush?! A well visit for my son, 6 weeks out. I'd give 3 stars but for the top knot Doctors I must give a 4. read more

Nope. I have two children and we came to Glendale pediatrics for 10 years. At first I was pleased with the practice, I liked all the doctors and they are the reason i gave some stars. HELD HOSTAGE. I realize that the doctors office is a business, but I have never felt so uncomfortable at a doctors office when it came to the "business" side of it. I had a C-section (twins) two weeks ago. We were released from the hospital (at 10pm) with the agreement that we would go to the pediatrician first thing the next morning. It was our first time dressing our kids, and I was in pain from the surgery, so it was a bit of challenge. We dashed out the door and I forgot my insurance card. After we saw the DR ,The front desk wouldn't let us leave without payment or proof of insurance. I asked if I could call my insurance company and if they had the number for Blue Cross. They didn't have the number... or at least were not willing to help by looking it up. What doctors office doesn't have the number for Blue Cross? I was in tears because (like I said) I was in pain, and honestly couldn't believe that we wouldn't be allowed to leave without insurance or payment ($250). I asked if they could bill us. Nope! we had an appt just 48 hours later. I didn't expect special treatment, but I was floored with the lack of empathy. So me and my 4 day old (Just over 4 pound) twins sat in the waiting room like hostages while my husband drove home to get our insurance card. I originally thought that it was fair for them to do this as it is actually a business, but we went to another pediatrician today, and explained the situation. They said that we shouldnt have been left in the waiting room with kids going in and out since our kids were just 4 days old AND they also said that they would have just billed us if the same thing happened in their office. So with that, I am glad we made the decision to change pediatricians. Photo attached of me and my nuggets waiting in the waiting room *** UPDATE: We have been gettting bills (unexplainable) for months. Aside from noce doctors the front staff practically gives me PTSD from how they collect on bills read more
