I got a chemical peel the other day (my first one) and although it was a painful treatment - as I heard it would be - I absolutely love the results!! Debbie also eased all of my fears before and during the procedure, her and her technicians were so great throughout the whole process to answer any questions. I've been visiting Debbie's for laser hair removal treatments for almost a year now, and I am very happy with the results. I've had LHR done at other facilities, but the results I've seen from Debbie's have been more substantial. After six treatments at the previous clinic, the hair came back. Granted, I could go for a couple weeks without shaving the treated area, but the hair would eventually grow back (no change in density and hair thickness). Now after Debbie's, I can comfortably say the hair is 90-95% gone. The hair that does grow back grows slow and thin. They are hardly visible. Aside from the great results, I think it's also important to mention the LHR machine used at Debbie's. Their machine combines suction with the pulse of the laser, making the pain nearly nonexistent. However, they do use the traditional laser (without suction) for smaller areas where the main machine cannot reach. This part hurts, especially if you're getting a sensitive area treated, so ask the technician to zap quick! I would highly recommend Debbie's. It's not the nicest looking building, but I didn't have any issues with customer service or scheduling. I purchased my laser hair removal session off of group on, so I wouldn't know about how reasonable the prices are. However, even though I purchased through group on, they never treated me any less important. These people here are really nice. They try to make you feel comfortable, and the wait is never long. It is a small office, but is very clean and they know what they are doing. read more

Finished doing my legs here. They have a great machine and really take their time when you are there, so they make sure to get everything. The staff is extremely nice, hair is removed, and I had great results! They are better than the other laser hair places I've been too, (metropolitan, and one in clear lake). And there staff were great made me feel comfortable through the entire process. I know being a guy i should not get this done, but I must say it doesn't hurt to get a little touch up. DONT GO! The owner of the place guaranteed results after selling me 5 sessions for my upper lip and it DID NOT work at all! After calling her out on her missed appointments and ineffective results, she said she would no longer help me and said to stop calling and would repeatedly hang up on me. After many attempts of calling back to request a refund, she resorted to calling police and accused me of threatening to kill her. REALLY?! For $250... the woman is CRAZY! read more

I got a groupon and today was the first time trying this place. I can't say much about results but I can say that the people are very nice and they seem very knowledgeable. They make you feel comfortable, explain everything and so on. Was easy to get an appointment and just as easy to cancel it and reschedule it few days later. They have the best type of laser (I've done research before buying my groupon) and it comes with 2 heads. The big one is a piece of cake even for the bikini area, the small one is painful (feels like someone is pulling out a hair). I had both since i have a few moles and they didn't want to put the laser directly on the mole...so they went with the small one around the moles. Ouch! It's not THAT bad, but not the best...anyways i will have to return for my remaining treatments and i'll post a review once i see results read more

Yesterday was my first (of 6) treatments. I was SO surprised at how practically painless the laser hair removal was. I did a lot of research on the different types of lasers there are and found that this was the least painful of all of the options available. I am so glad that I chose to do this. I can't believe I waited so long to try. While the front office staff may not be the brightest bunch, they were very nice & answered many of my questions without getting annoyed. The one thing I will note, is that since I was getting the Brazilian Area lasered, they charged me for my own tip - which was $25 & no one notified me about this prior to the appointment. I was a little annoyed, but felt it was a good thing for sanitary reasons. Since this was my first treatment, I cannot say whether the hair will grow back or not. I have high hopes! I will gladly do an update when I complete treatment. read more

I recently completed 6 laser treatments on my bikini area. First off I'll say that I was pleased with the staff - they were friendly and accommodating. On one occasion I showed up for my appointment at the wrong time after entering the time incorrectly on my phone and they fit me in right then because there was a cancellation as opposed to making me come back later. The ladies who did the procedure were friendly and genuinely concerned with my comfort. There were a few times when I had to wait longer than desired past my appointment time because the staff was dealing with walk-ins and individuals who arrived late. It was one of those things where I knew if my appointment was at 2pm I might be seen right at 2 or have to wait until 2:20. They did manage expectations by letting the individuals waiting know how much longer to expect to wait. Still, it's one of those things where I just wanted to be in & out asap. The ladies who did my procedure certainly knew how to use the laser and the treatments resulted in minimal discomfort (far less pain that expected), so no complaints there. The reason I can't give more than 3 stars - the laser treatments did not work on me at all. I still have the same amount & thickness of hair as when I started. At first I was sure I would see results because after my first few treatments the hair did all fall out and it took a while to regrow, but after my 3rd treatment only some hair fell out, then with the 4th treatment no hair fell out and the same with #5 and #6. So from #3 onward I had to go back to frequent shaving. Now, having just finished #6 I am back to shaving twice a day, same as before I began the laser treatments. I realize this procedure doesn't work for everyone, but I'd hoped that my very light skin and dark, thick hair would make me a good candidate and that I'd see some improvement. No change :( I'll also add that yes, you do have to pay tax when you go in for your 1st session if you purchased through groupon. This actually isn't uncommon and it was stated on the groupon. They also ask that you purchase your own laser "tip" for $30. I did this because I assume the alternative is using one that has been used by other people and I didn't want that. I don't think that this was unreasonable, but it can be disconcerting if you go into the first session thinking you don't have to have any money on hand. One nagging concern I had throughout was cleanliness. While the facility certainly looked clean, I like sterility and so seeing the previous customer's trash in the bin and wearing goggles after someone else makes me cringe a little bit. This is probably completely normal but I can be a bit of a germophobe. So, very nice people, careful about your appointment time (I'd always call to re-confirm just in case), plan for a short wait, plan to pay a little extra at your first visit and be very realistic about the fact that this does not work for everyone in 6 visits, even a "perfect" candidate. read more

I've been to Debbies 5 times over the last year. I would recommend them to anyone. Scheduling is extremely easy and flexible and there are no "blackout" days for Groupon people that you find at other places. They even let me re-schedule the day of my appointment when I came down with the flu (other places have a firm time limit of rescheduling). The wait time in the office is very fast and there is plenty of room to sit. The building is older but room itself is very clean. The laser they use is almost painless and they use aloe vera to soothe any irritation. For those discouraged or complaining about the tax and gratuity, They do state this in the groupon fine print. Not only that, but Groupon does not give them full price of what you pay for the treatments, therefore you are getting 6 treatments for ~50% of ONE regular price treatment, which I'm sure doesn't even cover the cost to run the machine. The $30 tax after receiving a 95% discount on your treatments isn't unreasonable. As for gratuity, do you go to a massage and not give a tip? How about a restaurant or hair cut? Debbie's in a service, and like any other service you should pay at least 10% on the REGULAR price of the service. I know for most of us, Groupon opens up things that we couldn't normally afford so paying a large gratuity isn't possible. The girls here appreciate anything given to them. read more

Love this place! I was hesitant about going in, cause I found the deal on groupon. But I called in to get more info and they were so friendly and answered all my questions! I went in, never getting a chemical peel before! Violet was so sweet!!! She explained the process and when it was painful, the owner came in and held my hand. (She heard me from her office ). Lily puts me at ease and makes me feel comfortable in what could be an awkward position, and she does a great job! Pain free too! The office staff are very kind as well, office is very clean too! I have no idea how good or bad the actual laser service is, but I can tell you their customer service is a ZERO. I walked out of my appointment prior to being seen. I purchased a Groupon for 6 sessions on a small area for $129 & made my appointment about 10 days in advance. No one told me over the phone that there would be additional charges involved in using my Groupon. When I showed up for my appointment, the receptionist informed me that I now had to pay tax on my service, so an additional $10 and some change would be assessed prior to being seen. She pointed out that the small print on the Groupon did not include "tax or granuity." Yes, she said granuity - go figure - this is what you are dealing with. Not a big deal, but my credit card was stolen last week and the new card hasn't come in yet, so I couldn't pay the $10 if I wanted to and no one gave me a heads up prior to arriving. So I left, called Groupon and was promptly issued a credit for future Groupon use. I took time off work, out of my day, driving in the rain, to show up for this, ostensibly a scam in my opinion. I have used various services and products through Groupon for 2 years - probably 20 Groupons during that time frame. Not once, have I been asked to pay an additional tax on any Groupon. Yes, the small print does say "tax and gratuity not included," but I guess most businesses choose to include the taxes in the purchase price of the Groupon. Anyway, I felt that was pretty sneaky of Debbie and to be honest, the receptionist didn't have great customer service to begin with. I nicely told her that I would not be staying for service and she just said ok. There was another person in the back ground (probably Debbie, since the office was otherwise a ghost town) and neither lady tried to make things right. There are about 10 laser hair removal deals at any given time on Groupon, so Debbie should probably step up her customer service if she wants to be competitive. Scheduling: no problem. Called and told them I was using a Groupon - had plenty of times to pick from and were upfront about how to prep my skin and that I would need to pay tax when I got there (more and more Groupon companies are doing this now). Getting there: fine. It's in an office building so plenty of parking and while the building is a little dated, that's not this place's fault! Waiting area: if you're looking for a spa with relaxing music and floral scents in the air keep looking. This place is all about removing hair! Plenty of room, checkin was prompt and straightforward. Staff: professional and friendly. My technician has been with the company for 7 years so this wasn't her first rodeo. Gave me the full explanation of the process and did just what she said she would do. Ensured I was comfortable at each stage and gave me clear aftercare instructions. Treatment area: clean. Fresh paper, sanitized, didn't worry about cleanliness. Effectiveness: jury is still out. I've only had one treatment and I know everyone's results are different, but I'm happy I gave them a try! read more

I just finished my 6th session of LHR at Debbie's and am extremely disappointed. When first arriving I was told there would be a 95% hair loss, this sounded great! In the back of my mind i knew 95% was probably unlikely, having never done LHR before, but would still be satisfied with even 80%. To my regret, finishing the last session there was no more than a 40% hair removal, more like 25-35% hair removal. Even the women whom I had been receiving treatment from noticed a significant difference between where I was and where I should have been. After reviewing my file and determining that I in fact had done every session by the book and did not have any hormone problems, I was ensured that I could talk with Debbie about some complimentary extra sessions. A month after playing phone tag with debbie and only 2 phone calls back, once only rang two times and the other Debbie called just to say she'll call back after reviewing my file (which they already had), I have yet to hear from Debbies laser hair removal. After x amount of money spent, 6 sessions of treatment, an absurd amount of time in the waiting room, and Debbies unprofessional manner, I am still shaving my "treated" area just as frequently as I was pre-Debbie's nightmare. On top of poor results, this place is extremely unorganized and poorly managed. Not only would I have to wait in the lobby for 25-45 minutes AFTER my scheduled appointment to get called in, but most of the time I was called in late because Debbie was in the back conversing with the customers and taking up MY time. Some people like having that personal touch of shooting the breeze with the friendly owner, which is perfectly fine, but not on my time please! Overall, Debbies has given me horrendous results, poor customer service, an unnecessary amount of wasted time, and a headache. read more

It is unfortunate that I have to write this review but after our last encounter with Debbie other clients should be wary of her services. This office periodically has groupon's for the laser hair removal and so my mother, my sister, and myself purchased quite a few packages. Upon completing a few sessions scheduling became a bit difficult. I had moved away and it wasn't feasible to make a trip back just for a 30 minute laser session. When I moved back to resume sessions she scheduled my sister and took her and then noticed that she had lost my mother's file. That's when Debbie's comes to tell her that her file is lost and she has no more sessions. What? How would you know? What documentation do you have to claim there aren't anymore She gives my mom a session but I was not convinced she actually gave treatment. Usually the hair falls off after the treatment and in this case it did not. So we come back to finish my session last session and see what perhaps her resolution would be. When we show up she doesn't seem to like that my mom is asking for some sort of resolution. If your customer knows she has more session that she prepaid for and you lost her file wouldn't you try to work things out? Not with Debbie. Then she turns to me and suddenly doesn't want me to do my last session. She looks at me and says no I can't do it. What? What do you mean you can't do it? Then refund my money. She clearly was triggered and does business based on emotions rather than be a professional. I have documentation that no where on my invoice says my sessions expire. I have proof she did not finish my sessions. If you are skeptic don't hesitate to contact me I'm not quite sure how to upload the invoice and stamp card. It's great during your groupon sessions, just wait until afterwards when she wants to charge you triple. read more
