Debbie isn't just a Realtor she's someone you can truly trust with the people you care about most. I've had clients working with her for years, and the way she shows up for them consistently is something special. She doesn't treat it like a transaction she treats it like a relationship. She listens, she cares, and she goes above and beyond every single time to make sure they feel taken care of, protected, and confident in every step. What I respect most is her consistency. Anyone can be great once... Debbie has been great for years. That says everything. If you're looking for someone who genuinely has your best interest at heart and will fight for you like you're family, Debbie is that person. Debbie is hands down the only person I would trust with my housing needs. I am going through a not so fun divorce and she handled it with grace and poise. She helped make the process as easy as possible using years of industry knowledge, a cool head, and a dedication to her craft that is unrivaled. I have used several agents in the past that don't even come close to the level of service and professionalism Debbie provided. Not only did she sell my home, she found me a rental to help with my journey. I would have paid her twice as much for all that she did for me. She truly is a diamond in the rough. read more

Working with Debbie was a blessing during a very difficult time. Navigating our trust property was a complicated and emotional journey with many challenges along the way. Through it all, Debbie stood by us with unwavering dedication, patience, and professionalism. She wasn't just our real estate agent--she became our therapist, designer, mediator, project manager, and even a shoulder to cry on when we needed one. Her wisdom and knowledge of the market and connections with other industry professionals like cleaners, painters and movers were invaluable. She somehow managed to align five very different family members to work together toward a shared goal--something that felt impossible at times. Her ability to navigate family dynamics, legal nuances, and real estate logistics was nothing short of a miracle. Despite all of the extra work she took on, she remained reasonably priced and never once made us feel rushed or like a burden. Debbie went well above and beyond, and I'll always see her patience as a gift. We are forever grateful and couldn't recommend her more highly. If you're lucky enough to work with her, know that you're in the best possible hands. read more

He told her what he was looking for in a house, and the next day she had us drive to this particular neighborhood in Simi Valley to check out the homes. We absolutely fell in love with this 55+ community. With all of her hard work, Debbie was able to make it happen for us - we have our forever new townhome in the neighborhood that we absolutely love! Debbie's reviews from other clients is spot on. From the first time I met her after my wife meeting her first, she immediately fulfilled many of my wife's and my needs in looking for a place to call "home". After finding the best home in our budget she went the distance in making sure that everything was running smoothly from the inspection, to the loan, to the title, and right down to giving us the keys. She is sincere and always looking for a solution for her clients. Her network of people she works with has the same philosophy and really came through for my family. I really could not see working with anyone else. If you are looking for an agent that not only will go the distance for you but also understand the needs of your family, your search is over. If there were 10 stars I'd give Debbie 11. I'm an agent myself and relocated out of CA. It's in my best interest, as a real estate agent, to have another agent represent me. Debbie had a buyer for my house so I asked if she would represent both sides. Our timing was great (insert sarcasm) - March of 2020 just as COVID-19 was coming through. We were not too concerned early March but by mid month we were on pins and needles. Debbie kept saying "Don't worry" and things kept rolling along as smooth as pre-Covid. As a matter of fact, in the 15 years I've been in the business I can easily say even with the virus spreading, millions losing their jobs, stay at home orders, etc this was one of the smoothest transactions I have ever experienced. Debbie has a heart of gold. If you chose her, which I recommend 1000%, know you can put your full faith in her knowledge and professionalism and she will get you the best results possible. Thanks Debbie for everything. read more

I am not a person who struggles to find their words, but my husband and I feel like we do not have words that can do justice to the kind of service we received from Debbie Gates and her associate, Brook Murray, during the listing and sale of our home. We knew of Debbie by word of mouth and reputation, and just figured someone who closes this many deals must be good but probably doesn't have a lot of time to devote to each client - we couldn't have been more wrong. From the beginning, Debbie and her team made us feel like we were their only clients and like we were old friends. So I am going to be brief (for me! haha) and cut right to the chase: Team Debbie had our home in escrow after only 4 days on the market, for well over list price and we closed in 3 weeks. It is not just the real estate expertise that makes Team Debbie so great - it's that they cultivate outstanding relationships with other agents and mortgage brokers so they can give important feedback to their clients thru the entire selling or buying process. We knew we had a well qualified buyer who was represented by ethical agents and lenders. We had already left the area by the time we listed our home, and Brook and Debbie were only too happy to take care of little personal odds and ends that came up when we could not attend to them ourselves. The only bummer is that now that our deal is done, we don't have an excuse to talk to Debbie and Brook every day! read more

Choosing Debbie as our Realtor is one of the best decisions my husband and I have ever made - seriously! Through three home sales and two purchases she has helped us reach our financial goals, got us on House Hunters Renovation, and found us an amazing home that we plan to be in for a long time. Through it all she supported and fought for us and our interests, and provided on-point guidance. Personally, she really is a wonderful, caring person. Debbie reached out to us when we evacuated for the Woolsey fire in 2018 and opened her home to us. You will not regret choosing Debbie as your Realtor. read more

First and foremost, the connection we had with Debbie was far beyond any other we've experienced in our decades of home selling and buying. From the initial discussion of how to price the house to being a calming influence throughout the sale, Debbie proved she was 100% looking out for our best interests. After walking us through the process, Debbie brought in her own designer to help stage the house for showings and we even said "wow" at the results! We received multiple offers and discussed each in detail - Debbie professionally explaining pros and cons - and that helped us decide which was best. Debbie's communication moving forward from there was second to none, as we overcame some hurdles as a team, never feeling we were on our own. We highly recommend Debbie Gates as your next choice for a Realtor - you may even make a friend! read more

So - this review is a long time coming. Debbie Gates and Brooke Murray have helped us buy three houses, and sell two (oh, and got us on an HGTV remodel show). We have known them for 7+ years. I'll rank choosing to go with Debbie and Brooke as our realtors as one of the best business decisions I've ever made in my life. I've never met any duo that works harder, or smarter, than these two. They have great experience in all kinds of markets. We worked with them during the downturn and they found and pushed the price way down on our first starter home, got us a great deal. When we moved into a different neighborhood later and faced very tough competition on a home when the market was swinging back up, they were able to win us the house we wanted and get it at a stellar price. And finally, when we flipped a home after a remodel, they were able to crush it on the selling side. We've been in some tense negotiations (emphasis on the tense), on both the buying and selling side, and they have yet to fail. I've seen them squash bidding wars, and keep in skittish buyers. Are you a first time buyer getting into your first place? Are you an experienced homeowner looking to move? Need someone to help list a flip and make sure you maximize your equity? They have done it all for me, and every time I was surprised and delighted with the deal they were able to put together. They are powerhouses - IMHO best realtors in SoCal. If you are looking for a realtor, I would advise you to stop looking right here. read more
