My wife found a perfect house for our family in Lake Balboa. We were not planning on moving anytime soon but kept an eye open. Dennis was the listing agent on the property, so I called him to make an offer. From the very beginning - Dennis was incredibly helpful, fair, and a good listener. We ended up securing our offer and Dennis walked us through every part of the transaction. On our last purchase, our agent effectively said - I've got 7 other offers, take it or leave it, whenever we brought up issues. Dennis, on the other hand, worked hard to make sure all of our issues were handled. If and when we ever sell, or have a friend selling, or buying or just want to share a beer with a nice guy - we'll call Dennis. No question. read more

Dennis helped me buy my first home in 2004 and he recently helped me sell my home in Wood Ranch just a couple months back. Everything went very smooth. Great guy and very porfessional. read more

Dennis handled a complicated sale for us in Wood Ranch and it was a pleasure working with a true professional who is extremely knowledgeable and detail oriented. His experience and confidence in his recommendations immediately put us at ease and most importantly, he under-promised and over-delivered. He executed the gameplan perfectly and made a stressful process feel very easy. He was recommended to us by one of his past clients and we will certainly recommend him in the future. read more

Thank you Dennis for helping me sell a property. With your guidance and tips, we were able to make it happen. Thank you!

We used Dennis to help find us our first home. He was extremely knowledgeable about the process of first time home buying and was very helpful in explaining everything to us. He really knows the area well and would take lots of time showing us lots of homes we were interested in. Dennis takes his time and truly wants what's best for his clients and ensures their happiness. We couldn't be happier in our new home! read more

I left this business a rating prior and true to the treatment I received by him and his office.. I was contacted today and threatened by him to change or remove my review or else he will take action against me. this type of behavior and this attitude is exactly why I was very displeased with this business. threatening me or making statements of such is a sign of poor character and poor business ethics I will absolutely not use him, or his company for any services. read more

Thinking of moving to Simi so we were out & about looking at neighborhoods when we came across one of Dennis's signs.  We called to inquire about the property (which had just sold) and he was so helpful that we ended up engaging him to sell our house in the San Fernando Valley for us.  Dennis helped us get the house ready for sale, set appointments for showings and we had multiple offers within a week.  He then helped us choose the best offer and was with us every step of the way until we closed. After he sold our house he went to work helping us find a new place.  We ended up finding a great house in a great area.  Unfortunately, the seller's agent was terrible and was extremely difficult to work with.  In spite of all that, Dennis negotiated a great price for us, was able to get concessions for us (unheard of in this market) and was able to close on time. We couldn't be more pleased with Dennis and the service we received from him.  He stated from the beginning that his job was to get every possible dollar for us on the sale and to find us the best new house at the best price while providing great service.  He did all those things and more.  He was always available for questions and always handled small problems before they could become big problems.  All the while, just being a really fun guy to work with. Buying a house is the biggest financial transaction most people will ever be involved in. You owe it to yourself to have the best representing you and that's Dennis. read more

Dennis was the first realtor that listened to us and didn't try to sell us or talk us into buying what we didn't really want. He did a phenomenal job working with the other agent who was less than pleasant, knew what he was talking about when the sellers were trying to pull "fast ones" and was able to get us what we were looking for for the price we wanted to pay. Highly recommend Dennis and will be using him again when looking to buy and sell in the future. read more

I can state without hesitation, Dennis Goedhart exemplifies the best of what real-estate is all about. In times like these people may be supposing that the role of real-estate agent as superfluous; Dennis has proven repeatedly how indispensable a good agent really is. To tell how many times Dennis managed to exhume a deal from the dead and how many times Dennis saved me thousands of dollars would take several pages. Suffice it to say, the world of real-estate is perilous and without someone of Dennis' integrity, diligence and acumen, you are like a child in a bull ring. I have been privileged to work with such an extraordinary person as Dennis, and I enthusiastically commend him to anyone that anticipates entering the world of real-estate. S. R. read more

I had a complicated, or so I thought, Short Sale of my home in 2010. Dennis handled it and made the process seem smooth, even with a buyer falling out and other complications. Fast forward to 2013. I needed information from that sale in 2010. I haven't been in contact with him since 2010 so I figured it would be a long shot that he would remember me or even take the time to pull an old file. I was wrong. He responded to me right away and helped me with my issue without any hesitation. Dennis got the information I needed in just one day. When I complimented him on his excellent customer service, he just humbly replied "I'm just doing my job" He will be my Realtor for life. Thank you Dennis Goedhart! read more

I can not recommend an agent more than I recommend Dennis, I'm a loan officer for the past 3 decades and have worked with many realtors over the years. Our mutual clients rave about his hard work, integrity and attention to detail. I have personally seen and heard Dennis ALWAYS putting his clients needs first, always doing the right thing even when it's not the easy thing. If you're looking for a great agent, you won't be disappointed working with Dennis, I assure you that he's the gold standard in the industry and won't let you down. read more

Worse experience in renting ever. The house was poorly managed by so called property manager Dennis Goobert @ Associate Broker / Remax Olson & Associates 805 520 9000 www.DennisGRealtor.com Through the 10 months that I lived at this residence the property fell apart. (2672 Fallen Leaf Ct. Simi Valley, CA) Sink and toilet broke, made multiple attempts to contact the realtor who was the property manager. He sent out his handyman name Jose who came in and was straight up unprepared and really had no clue on what he was doing. After realizing he was decided he didn't have the proper tools to fix the sink and toilet so he decided he need to come back. I asked him if he could paint a few spots on the wall that needed touchup. Well the idiot used gloss paint when the walls were matte. He was supposed to return with the correct pieces for the sink and never did. The landscapers were supposed to come twice a month however they only showed every 6-7 weeks. I wanted out of the lease because of the piss poor management and it finally took 2 months to get out and when I got out the property manager and the owner of the house PAUL STYLES out of Michigan began to nickel and dime me on the fact that he claimed that the handyman Jose was not his handyman and that he didn't instruct him to do anything. However Dennis said to contact Jose at the start of our lease for any issues we have. Plus he said that wasn't the true property manager and he was just doing this as a courtesy to the owner Paul. Not only did I have to pay for paint service, but he said that he would help me out with the relisting fee and waited over the legal allowed 21 days to get my check just to find out that it wasn't the correct amount and that I was charged the relisting fee (which PAUL STYLES clearly benefits) plus the check was missing the prorated days that I was owed. This whole refund process took 1 month! STAY AWAY. Beware! They are probably going to say some BS that we went by the book and it was in the contract, but that's non-sense. Pure unprofessionalism at its finest. Do not recommend. read more

Dennis Goedhart handled a probate sale of a family home for us. He was excellent with communication and he assisted us in rehabbing the home well before the sale. He had helpful suggestions and the referrals we needed to get the work done. Our home sold quicky and he communicated directly with our attorney throughout the escrow. We would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an experienced professional who listen and get the job done! read more

In response to your rebuttal, we received a series of hostile emails from you (yes, I do have proof) that occurred after not hearing from you for several weeks. We did not follow back up with you after our initial meeting (which we did not reschedule by the way) because we told you we would be unavailable for the next 2 weeks immediately following our initial meeting at which time, we asked for you to follow up with us. Which you did not do until 3 weeks after our meeting. As for you taking the time to select in person homes for us to peruse, it a computer generated program that you enter filters on. I do not see how this could possibly take any of your time. All of our pre-qualification work was completed prior to us ever meeting with you in person. (which we presented to you in person for which I have dated documents as to when I received them which is previous to any meeting with you) In addition to you being a horrible person, I would like to add that you also seem to like to twist the facts to your liking. I do not know why you decided to attack us in the manner you did, but I can honestly say we made the correct decision in ultimately choosing another agent. As I mentioned in previous contact with you, please do not ever contact us again in any form. read more

Dennis Goedhart is an extraordinary real estate agent. Not only did he walk my wife and I through the difficult process of selling a home, but he expertly navigated selling my father-in-law's home during probate. During this extremely stressful and emotional time in our lives, Dennis was very sensitive to the delicate situation of selling my father-in-law's home. He is truly a class act. He worked closely with our probate attorney to make sure every aspect of the process was done correctly. Dennis was always available to answer any question we had about the selling process (probate included). Dennis's knowledge of the Simi Valley real estate market made him an invaluable asset when it came to pricing and marketing the home. Dennis was proactive throughout the selling process, updating us on a daily basis about showings, offers, etc. I would highly recommend Dennis to anyone looking for a superb realtor, especially one with probate experience. read more

Dennis was recommended to us after a number of our close friends had worked with him, all with positive experiences. In total, he has now helped 8 other close families of ours with the purchase and/or sale of their home. My wife and I were hesitant about the process at first since this was going to be our first home purchase, but after personally meeting Dennis, we knew we had made the right choice to work with him. He quickly proved to us that he was not only knowledgeable about his business (current market, incentives, trends, etc.), but that his expertise extended far beyond realty. We were working with a specific price range and location, as well as the willingness to remodel. Dennis was prompt to contact us and send information each time a listing came on the market that he thought would interest us. On occasion, he would visit a listing ahead of us in order to prevent us from wasting our time. He was a tremendous help to us throughout every step of the process. We were able to find a house that was perfect for us, and thanks to Dennis, we now have called this place home for the past 3 years. We are still in contact with him, as we have referred him to a number of our other friends, and will continue to do so. read more
