My parents needed to sell their home in Simi a few months ago, and I offered to help them find a realtor. After reading through Yelp reviews, I came across Dee Dee. Her outstanding reviews and extensive experience in the Simi area immediately stood out. My mom reached out and Dee Dee responded right away. She was warm, approachable, and made my parents feel comfortable from the very beginning. Throughout the entire process, Dee Dee was knowledgeable, responsive, and incredibly supportive. Even on moving day, Dee Dee continued to go above and beyond to help them (she's one strong person!). My stoic and stubborn father still talks about how she was helping carrying some furniture down the stairs. Selling their beloved home to be closer to family was emotional and stressful for them -- but having Dee Dee by their side made all the difference. Our family is so grateful for her guidance, kindness, and support. Thank you, Dee Dee! read more

Well, real estate is not for the faint of heart. Dee Dee is the agent to get you to the close line. We just closed on a sale of a house in Simi Valley and she was our partner all the way through. Some highlights that we appreciate about Dee Dee: - took our calls while she was in the Bahamas to keep the momentum going - gave us advice on listing and pricing strategy to drive up optimal price for our sale - constantly checked in on the house to make sure vendors and things were moving along as planned from photographer to the plumber - gave solid recommendations for local handyman and cleaner - advocate for what is right for both seller and buyer in the transaction - ethics are important to her and she always pushed to ensure we delivered the house in the right way to the buyer - negotiated on our behalf even when things weren't easy - sent her contractor husband to buy/replace the garbage disposal for us - bottom line results - closed the sale in a rough sellers market with above asking On top of all of this, she alway reminded us of First Time Home Buyers POV and how important this is for the buyer. We forget sometimes in the hustle that real estate is the American Dream. She really truly cares about young families! She's great to work with and we would recommend her to anyone looking for a real estate agent! Thank you Dee Dee! We will miss chatting, and texting daily. Congrats to you and us on the close!! read more

I have known Dee Dee for a very long time and I'm happy that we hired her to help us sell a house in Simi Valley. She was involved in every aspect, preparing the house, inside and outside, cleaning and pricing. The day it became available for sale, the first family to visit made a full price offer. My family is very thankful we found Dee Dee from are first phone conversation until well after the close of escrow she is still part of our family. It was a real blessing to have been referred to Dee Dee by highest recommendation. From day one, she was so sweet, assertive on getting us what we wanted, and so honest and sincere about everything, every step of the way. She is a very hard worker. We, unfortunately, ran into some huge unexpected bumps in our road once we were in escrow AND after. She assisted us on a daily basis until this major issue was resolved. The issue had nothing to do with her work nor Troop Real Estate or any of their affiliates, yet she helped us without hesitation, and this was after all was done and property was purchased. We were first time buyers and so fortunate to have worked with her throughout the entire process. She proved how important the client's best interests are, which is hard to find in a realtor!!! read more

I LOVE Dee Dee!!! Dee Dee was an absolute pleasure to work with. Working with her was like having our very own personal Mary Poppins. She added so much sugar to what could have been a very sour situation for some people. The process of selling a home can be stressful. I like to know who, what, when, where, why, in all situations, and Dee Dee made me feel that all my questions were valid and worth her time. She always made me feel informed, and she was always a text away if I needed to get ahold of her right away. My biggest worry with selling the house, was how it was going to effect my 5 year old anxious daughter. But Miss Dee Dee (as my daughter fondly speaks of her now) is a very welcome sight for her, always arriving with her welcoming smile (and sometimes with a special treat for her). From the professional pictures, to the online advertising, to the coming soon sign, and the suggestions of where to declutter the house, all of Dee Dee's efforts and suggestions really paid off. We got our ideal buyers and perfect offer within 3 days on the market. We couldn't be happier. Working with Dee Dee started with the end of an old house, and finished with the beginning of a new friendship. Puts a smile on my face every time I think of it. read more

We used Dee Dee for the sale of our home as well as the purchase of our new home. My family and I had ideas of the perfect home and location. Dee Dee was incredibly patient during the entire process, even showing us homes in neighborhoods that she felt would be perfect but we had not explored. She ultimately found us our dream home and stayed by our side during the entire process, working with the lender and pushing things along. She is extremely professional, and an absolute sweetheart. We highly recommend Dee Dee & look forward to working with her in the future when we are ready to buy a rental property. read more

Dee Dee Hubbard is a professional, sweet, and all around BEST Agent! She found my first house for me... then when the market fell....she spent endless hours with the bank and me until my short sale was approved. May I add, in only 4 months and I hadn't defaulted on my mortgage either....MIRACLE WORKER! When I decided to buy again I called her and again she found a great place for me. She points out the pros and cons of each house for me and helps me think about all my options! She always calls or texts me back which is extremely important to me when working with someone! I found Dee Dee on Yelp and called her to help sell our house in Simi Valley. From beginning to end, she has been absolutely fantastic. Selling a house is stressful, and when you have someone like Dee Dee working with you, it's such a blessing. She worked hard for us, from first listing the house, following up with people who came to see it, all the way through the close of escrow and beyond. She has done everything I could hope for and then some. We were moving out of state and had to sell quickly. Throughout the whole process, she has gone above and beyond to help this be a smooth transition for our family. I wish I had more properties to sell, just so I can work with Dee Dee again! My condo in Simi sold before she even did the official listing and open house. My neighbor, in the same building, went with another realtor and 2 months later her unit is still on the market. And it's a really nice unit. This is my first time as a seller and Dee Dee made it effortless. She is also a truly nice person to be around, so that was a bonus! Let me start by saying we hadn't purchased a home in years and didn't realized how much the whole real estate scene had changed. I don't know what we would've done without our friend and Realtor Dee Dee Hubbard at Troop Real Estate. We have found Dee Dee's strategies to be top notch, she provided creative solutions to problems. She gave us guidance on handling everything from inspections to requests for repairs. Loved working with this broker! I can't say enough, always punctual, helpful, responsive. She was aggressive, NOT pushy, and so pleasant to spend the day with shopping for houses. So very knowledgeable about the process, if she didn't have the answers, she would get them very quickly. We actually made an offer on a home, left a couple of days later to go out of the country for a month! She took care of everything for us. I wasn't sure we could pull it off because of our upcoming trip, but it was no problem at all! We've bought a lot of homes and this was our best experience thus far. Dee Dee is wonderful and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a realtor. Seriously, she's awesome! It put our minds at ease and gave us one less thing to worry about knowing Dee Dee was working for us. Dee Dee Hubbard was referred to us as someone who could help us get our house sold after another agent tried for six months and failed. Once Dee Dee took over our listing, we had an offer within 48 hours -- an offer that was above our asking price, and that led to a quick and smooth sale of our house!!! So I am happy to pass along the referral for a great real estate agent who is on top of details, uses all the latest tools, and who executes with the highest level of professionalism. At the conclusion of the sale, we even received a CD containing all the documents in digital format. Thank you Dee Dee. You are awesome!!! read more
