They took me, a first time, out of state, and very nervous homebuyer, and made the experience feel exciting instead of overwhelming. They were incredibly kind and so knowledgeable. Monique is the face of this operation, and she not only would pick me up from the airport when I came to tour houses, but was always exuberant and excited to show me new neighborhoods on our packed house tour weekends. She is so smart, always ready to explain problems, and one time fully went UNDER a house to check the foundation. Her knowledge of neighborhoods, structural integrity and real estate trends is hugely impressive and she's also just really fun to hang out with. When I wasn't able to see a house, she did house tours via facetime or took videos. Monique was upfront about the struggles I might come up against with certain houses, and when I found the house of my dreams she worked so hard to make it a reality. Joe is more behind the scenes, organizing everything and managing all the paperwork. As we were closing he and Monique kept me, someone who is terribly forgetful, on track to close in time. Joe coordinated the myriad of inspections, calls and kept things in order. I'm so happy with the house I found, in a neighborhood I love, very outside of where we had originally been looking, and it's a home that I am overjoyed to be in. Joe and Monique basically made the next few decades of my life beautiful and I'm so happy to have worked with them.

We immediately began calling neighbors and the police as we rushed back to the house. Once we arrived, we saw Monique Carrabba, who informed us that she was the one who triggered the alarm. She made a point of saying that she knew our house was not ready for showings. She said she checked the listing and it said "no phone calls, no emails" etc. The sign on our lawn says "coming soon". Yet in spite of every literal sign saying "do not come in", she did exactly that. She entered our home with her client, and if the alarm would not have gone off, we may have never even known she was here. I don't want to imagine what might have happened if I came home and found her trespassing in my home. Needless to say, this incident caused a lot of unnecessary stress and anxiety. Monique's entitled behavior was totally and completely disrespectful, unprofessional, and reckless. I understand if her client was only in town for the weekend, but we would have gladly accommodated her with a simple phone call or email to our agent. This experience will make it very unlikely for us to accept any offers from any Carrabba Group clients.

The previous agent was not stepping up and we were finding more options than him.  Arman and Chris stepped up to the plate. They did their due diligence with every single house that they showed us. From value, to potential value, school districts, etc. Etc.  We were in communication at least once a day if not more and we finally felt as if our voices were heard and we will conquer this market. We were able to not only find a house below the market value, but also find our dream house. They were there every step of the way with every aspect until escrow closed. This would not have happened without their perseverance, their patience, and their commitment to give their very best. Thank you gentlemen.

So it was time to make a move, run for The Hills, and become a first time homeowner. I had a few things in mind I was looking for and needed someone to help me reach for the stars and join the "Hollywood Elite." Or you might say, someone that'd be "Selling Sunset" to me. Cue the music and enter realtor Becca Liang! This is the part of the movie where they play a montage consisting of all the pivotal moments in my home buying process climaxing with the ultimate triumphs of getting the offer accepted and closing escrow. *Home Search: Becca took the time to determine the specific features I desired (high ceilings and a roofdeck, for example) and just as importantly, what I wasn't looking for *Showings: Once we identified a few properties that checked the boxes and seemed up to my standards, she scheduled all the appointments to maximize the best use of my time *Offer: when I was ready to pull the trigger, we collaborated on the best approach to make an offer that'd be accepted, without risking the seller countering or another buyer swooping in (spoiler alert: it worked) *Paperwork: when you don't have a printer at home and there's 80 million things required to sign as part of any real estate transaction, no worries, Becca geared everthing up for me to easily do online via DocuSign. She was also extremely responsive when I had a question, or 2, or 3 about some of the items Normally I prefer to handle a lot of things on my own, but I needed a dedicated professional that I could rely on and trust for this huge transaction. With her performance and results, I'd have to nominate Becca for an Oscar (if they had Award shows for real estate agents). Since they apparently don't do those (yet), hopefully my 5 star review and strong recommendation is an acceptable substitute.
