Gary was very knowledgeable and professional. We live out of town and had to sell my mother's condo. Since we couldn't always be there to let in painters or movers, Gary made himself available to take care of these things. We interviewed a few other realtors and just felt like we were just another client. Gary and Lisa took the time to get to know our situation and seemed to actually care about helping us and selling our condo. Gary knew the market in the area we were selling and helped us make the best decisions on price and marketing. I highly recommend Gary and Lisa Jacobs. read more

I did not know Gary, nor was I referred, it was by prayer I found him. I was not disappointed. Not only are he and his wife Lisa smart, kind and talented, but they want they staged my home was AWESOME! They just changed out a few things, and whola! No extra charge. The 8x10 pamphlet of my Home was like something out of a professional photo shoot that you would see in House Beautiful Magazine or 25 Beautiful Homes Magazine. Photos from professional cameras and drones he flew overhead to capture the backyard, roof and shots as sun was setting. Needless to say my house sold in 4 days! From beginning to close of escrow Gary was there! Would always answer my calls and respond to my texts each and every time. Thanks Gary and Lisa for your professionalism, talent, kindness and perfection! Lynda P. read more

Gary and Lisa Jacobs I first met Lisa at an open house and was so struck by her authenticity and empathy that a few months later I contacted her to show me a property, which turned out to be perfect for me. Lisa and Gary Jacobs handled the offer and negotiation efficiently and offered advice in a respectful way; then they put my existing condo online for sale or lease. The market being slow, they promptly found me a tenant with an excellent credit rating and we will list the property for sale again next summer. I look forward to working with them again. They are a marvelous team, communicating well with the client and each other. Gary is especially adroit with photography, responsive to my suggestions even after the listing went live. He also is gifted at clarification when appropriate. Lisa is equally professional and a champ for staying in touch. I have considerable experience with real estate agents and have never felt in better hands. read more

I needed to sell my elderly mother's "Fixer-Upper" condo quickly as she needed to move into an assisted living facility. Gary found us a buyer within 48 hours who offered asking price AS IS! Through the entire process, Gary was ALWAYS available for questions and advice. His fees were very reasonable as well. He has an excellent website that helps keep you posted on the timeline of what is happening. He even went to the escrow signing session because I live far away and a hurricane was hitting our area. I STRONGLY recommend Gary and his wife for all your real estate needs! The entire process was painless! Katrina M. Thousand Oaks CA 91360 read more

Gary is one in a million. I had to sell a townhouse 5 hours away, that belonged to a dear relative who had passed. It was daunting, and I dreaded jumping into the revenue-driven real estate fray. Gary did the impossible; he skillfully addressed every practical concern that I was unable to do from afar, brought his professional acumen to bear (garnering multiple offers), and kept me informed and comfortable every step of the way. He made the whole transaction, during a time of grief, not only easier but enjoyable. I cannot recommend him highly enough. read more

My husband and I just bought our first home with Gary. He was everything you could ever hope for in a real estate agent. Responsive, reliable, knowledgable, honest, organized, informative, patient, good at negotiating, and happy to go over the details as many times as we needed. He made us feel completely comfortable every step along the way. The house we purchased had 16(!!!) offers on it, and the selling agents told us the reason why our offer was accepted was because of him. They said it was all because he was so persistent, professional and nice to deal with. Gary even helped us out with several new home owner questions after we closed and moved in. Thank you Gary for helping us buy our dream home!! read more

If you are looking to buy or sell a house, Gary is your guy. Gary has a great pulse of the housing market trends, especially in the Conejo Valley area which is where we were looking to buy a home. From the start, Gary sent us a link to create an account for a real-estate portal so he could send us MLS listings directly. What an awesome way to get the latest listings. He was also happy to meet me at any open houses I found myself through Zillow/Redfin. He would meet me on the fly whenever I mentioned there was something I wanted to check out. I loved walking through the homes and hearing Gary's opinions and ideas for what the homes potential could truly be. Also, hearing the honest input about the cost of the homes and what he predicted they would actually sell for. And let me tell ya, as I watched homes sell that we'd seen, he totally nailed it every time!! We eventually found a home that we wanted to put an offer in on and it was such a fast and easy process. Most of the signatures were done via DocuSign. I loved that process because it was so easy! Gary helped us draft the perfect offer and keep lines of communication open with the sellers realtor while they accepted multiple offers. In the end we ended up getting the home and I truly believe it was because of Gary's constant (not pushy) communication. We couldn't be more thrilled. Thank you so much Gary & team!!! read more

I just finished a set of transactions with Gary where we sold our beautiful home in Agoura and bought a fabulous new place in Westlake. My wife and I were a little skeptical that we would be able to make things work because the deal kind of needed the stars to align on both sides to make things happen. However, through the whole process Gary was an incredible resource and his encouragement from start to finish got us into this beautiful house that we are beyond thrilled with. I was very impressed with Gary in our first home purchase in 2014 and my respect for his knowledge, thoroughness, and tenacity has only increased after our most recent transaction. He has a really great eye for the details of construction and materials in a house, and is the best realtor that i've ever worked with when it comes to bouncing remodeling/renovation/upgrade ideas off of. He has a really great intuition on price/value for homes and was invaluable to us when evaluating what to offer. I'd highly recommend him to any one looking to buy or sell their house. And as a side note, the photography he did of our house was really top notch. read more

My fiance (now wife) and I were looking to purchase our first home in Ventura. Gary came highly recommended from our lender. Our lender gave Gary's name immediately without hesitation when we asked if he knew a reliable realtor. From day 1 Gary and Jayson were far exceeding our expectations. They had multiple homes ready for us to visit within the first few days. They are prompt, professional, knowledgeable, and always available. We saw almost a couple dozen homes before finally finding the perfect place. It was a short sale and Gary did a great job explaining the situation to us and guiding us through the long process. It took 5 months from the initial approval of our offer for the seller's bank to provide final approval. Gary and Jayson were patient the entire time and even kept recommending and showing us additional homes while we waited. They helped us negotiate some of the fees with the escrow company to ease the closing cost burden. Once we finally owned the home Gary recommended a contractor to do some remodeling which we began immediately. Even though we owned the house and we officially no longer needed Gary's services, he still came with the contractor during the estimate to make sure everything went smoothly. He's followed up with us on the remodeling and has been in touch ever since. Gary and Jayson definitely know the business, know how to build relationships, and exude great character. My wife and I have definitely found a real estate team for life. Thanks Gary and Jayson! read more

Gary worked as our realtor for most of 2017 as my husband and I looked for homes in the Agoura/Calabasas/Westlake Village area. We instantly felt a connection with Gary, as he is friendly and relaxed, as well as professional and extremely knowledgeable about the real estate market. During our house hunt, he always made himself available. He was patient with us, and truly helped find the right home for us, instead of trying to push us into a sale. He gave great guidance and advice, and showed us many properties proactively. When we were finally ready to make an offer, Gary walked us through every step and helped us get an incredible deal on our house. Gary Jacobs was the best realtor to work with that we could ever have imagined. He worked consistently hard for my family and I, and came up with the best possible results that we could ever have hoped for. He sold my mom's Westwood condo for the highest price ever recorded for her building complex. His ideas for improving the condo before we put it on the market were excellent. He was always nice, cheerful, and very easy to work with. If there were 6 stars instead of 5, I would have given him 6. Highly recommend him for any and all real estate sales and/or purchases. read more

We brought Gary and Lisa in early to determine what was needed to get the house ready for top dollar in the area we were in. We had already remodeled the interior. He made recommendations, put us in contact with contractors, and we ended up selling for full price on the first day. Actually, more than full price... We then needed to move quickly and he was able to get us into a wonderful house quickly. If you're looking for results give them a call. And... get ready to move quickly ;) read more

We were first time home buyers and unfamiliar with the Westlake/Thousand Oaks area. A family friend recommended Gary and we couldn't have been happier with our decision to use him to purchase our first home. Gary went with us to look at homes for several hours on various weekend days and provided his expertise on the different neighborhoods, many of which we were unfamiliar with. Gary was always available by phone when we needed him and was able to answer all of our questions regarding the process. When we eventually found our future home and were prepared to make an offer, Gary helped us every step of the way. He had worked with the seller's agent before and we believe this helped our offer stand out. We are now all moved in and absolutely love the house and neighborhood. Gary made a daunting experience feel more manageable and took away a lot of the stress. Gary is very professional and easy to work with and I would recommend him to any seller / buyer for an easy transaction.

After 27 years of living in the same property, the economics of The Great Recession on my landlord's personal situation reluctantly had him asking me to find new living accommodations, as he needed to take back my rental house. With 60 days to pack up and move in an extremely tight and competitive market, with only a 2% vacancy rate, I was lucky enough to find Gary to help me search for a new home--quickly. I had a wish list of the ideal place and was not too optimistic I would find what I was looking for in such a marketplace and in such a time frame. But Gary really knows the area--from Calabasas to Agoura; from Thousand Oaks to Westlake Village; from Simi Valley to Ventura, CA. Gary's business combines the best of available technology to keep up to the minute on current listings, while also providing that old fashioned personalized service and hand holding. His smartphone is always on and he returns calls and emails ASAP; being responsive to questions or concerns and always keeping you in the loop on where things are in what can seem a complex process. He is a good listener, and quickly understands what elements are critical to your satisfaction in finding your next home. Although he provided an extensive "short-list" of properties that matched most or all of my criteria and budget, we needed to only see two properties before we found that "ideal" one. Of course we were not the only ones who had that thought, and he helped go after the one that had won my heart. It was stressful, it was emotional, and there were lots of ups and downs, yet he battled for me. Today, I am in my new home and I could not be happier. I love my place. I love my neighborhood. I love my neighbors. Not only does my new home meet my ideal wish list criteria, but also it exceeds it. I hope to be here for a very long time. I would not have found this place on my own, or perhaps with another agent. I highly recommend Gary, and have already passed his name along to friends and colleagues. You will not be disappointed if you engage his services in your search for your next rental or purchase of a home. read more
