I highly recommend these guys and introduced them to my mother and sister, who also rave about the wonderful work they've done. Their prices are always fair, the quality of work is always excellent, and overall they're just nice people to deal with. If I could give six stars, I would. As a reference point, I've used them for both indoor and outdoor projects and found them to be great at both. More detail below on the projects to give you a sense of what was involved: 1st - painting a room when we moved in that was all dark brown (curved ceiling and wall). Because the ceiling didn't have a defined edge, we created one. This became a light blue baby's room. 2nd - downstairs repainted 3rd - kitchen repainted (also completed in record time) 4th - exterior paint, including the repair and staining of cedar shakes and a stucco portion.

We contracted with Rick to perform extensive interior and exterior painting for our very large end-unit townhome. You will find plenty of terrific reviews on Yelp and Google. We recommend him -- and his crew leader Angel -- without reservation.

I want to be fair to the crew that painted my home and give 3 stars for them alone. They worked…read moretirelessly 7 days a week. Nothing to fault there. The owner, Rick, however doesn't stand by his commitments or quality. One star for answering texts, but truthfully his communication veers into the unprofessional. They painted my exterior first. I had asked for an interior bid after my exterior was complete and Rick complied. We agreed on a date in March to start. He came back after and offered to start almost immediately due to a cancelation but we were traveling and needed another week or so. All was fine until he did not show. I emailed. He gave me the run around. A few days went by... I have to put my dog in daycare while this painting is happening and I needed a firm date. Rick finally explained that he took a bigger job and didn't know when he would start. I was okay with waiting a bit, but he just disappeared. No communication, nothing. Today I noticed some exterior paint peeling *not even 6mos old* and contacted Rick. Instead of just saying ok, sure, lemme look at it/end of story, he added it wasnt"his fault" because apparently I didn't replace enough wood from my porch. Rick was rarely on site during this 3 week project only coming by to get checks. My trusted carpenter and Rick walked my home prior to beginning and determined what needed to be replaced. I spent several thousand above and beyond the paint cost (which came in over budget) doing as they both advised on wood repairs. I'm not an expert...I relied on Rick to drive that part of the project. Instead it was implied that I was being cheap and that Rick took no responsibility. I was honestly shocked at his communication. Again, this paint job.was almost 20k and less than 6 mos old. Communication broke down further (dont know if i can post his actual texts which i have and are unhelpful , defensive and dramatic) I got a lecture about his schedule and my blaming him for needing to "feed his crews families" (huh? I did no such thing. I merely said he didn't show up as agreed. Which is true.) Instead of insisting he stand by his work, (which he reminded me he's done for 32 years as though that excused his rudeness) I prefer not to deal with him again and instead warn others. Perhaps he's having a rough time personally. I certainly wouldn't have him on any other jobs right now. His crew work hard and hopefully will find a lot of admirers. I did get another company for my interior job and will be happy to review after it's done.

While alternative quotes came in below Edwin's offer, I know without a doubt that Edwin and his team delivered a final result that would far exceed any alternative within a day's drive. The quotes I received from other companies stipulated that work could begin in a month - Edwin's team was painting for over 10 hours just a couple days later. His entire team worked diligently and strove for the highest standard of work product. I found Edwin on Google. He is a clear and open communicator. Each day Edwin walked me through details from the day before, including each of the areas that we'd aligned to paint, as well as ANY area that I deemed requiring modification. His team would correct any area I noted almost immediately. Edwin was also flexible to add incremental work that I desired to our agreement as time went by, which gave me confidence that the finished product would exceed my expectations. The end result was that Edwin and his team delivered a finished product that made an old house look brand new. Alexander is a master of his craft, and really brought the trim to life. It was excellent work across the board. I'm looking forward to bringing Edwin back for more work as we have more surfaces to paint, inside and out.

Our metal handrailing was also in need of sanding and painting. After getting several quotes, we selected Carlos Mosquera and his crew. Their proposal was detailed and described all the steps/work they would do. It gave us a good idea that they would do the job right. They gave us an estimated start time and the crew arrived on time and got right to work. They worked for two days just cleaning all the windows and house trim -- and even the gutters and soffits! What a difference that made. It made everything, even the areas like gutters and soffits that would not be painted, look so clean and bright. After two more days, the trim that needed replacement was replaced, all the trim was primed and repainted, the railing was sanded and repainted, and the exterior of the house now looks as good as new. The crew made sure that all the windows opened properly and did a fine job of cleaning up. The house looks wonderful. Based on our good experience, we would highly recommend them.
