She is the most incredible sales representative with the most impeccable customer service. I cannot say enough good things about this woman and how she made such an impact in my life. It may sound strange to you how the inquiry and purchase of a pair of snow boots may be so life changing, but like I mentioned her service has touched me and came on a day where things were just going all wrong...Nancy Sue turned my day around completely and I will forever remember her name, her service, and your company. Northside and Triple T Trading has an incredible President and two Vice-Presidents, to have such a remarkable employee on their staff. The service shown to me is quite a high reflection of this company and what it stands for and for that I applaud them. As such a happy customer I cannot wait to share the name of Northside with all my family and friends.

Living in…read moreSeattle I don't often have much need for outdoor gear outside of my hiking boots and the occasional wax for my snowboard, but when I head north to my parents house I get a little more country. So when dad and I decided to go fishing over the Fourth of July weekend, I needed to renew my long neglected fishing license. I thought we'd be heading into Burlington for the big outdoor warehouse, but dad pulled up in front of Morgan Creek and I was shocked to see that the place even existed in deserted downtown Woolley. So we go in, and I'm immediately floored by how much stuff they have packed into this little store. Not in a confused, haphazard way, everything is very organized and clean; you can find what you need quite easily. They have pretty much everything you'd need for a short trip to the lake or the woods. Rods & reels, lures, ammo, firearms, doe urine scent (that's right Seattlites, I said doe urine scent. You put it on your boots so you don't get your human-smell all over the place and scare the deer away.) Mike and the rest of the staff are super friendly and helpful, and are available to help you out with anything you need, including tips of what the fish are biting on and where. And this place just oozes of small town USA. It's the kind of place where everyone in the store knows everyone else in the store, and people are glad to see you. Sort of like Cheers, but for rednecks. To top it off the store is painted adorably. Yes, an outdoor store has an adorable paintjob. Check it out, you'll see what I mean.

In the end, I found what I wanted and could afford at Lifestyles Honda in Burlington. WA.; a pre-owned 2018 Spyder RT Limited. I had a slight malfunction on the way home. I called Jake (my contact at Lifestyles) and he walked me through some basic troubleshooting. The following morning, they sent 'Super Rescue' Bruce with an enclosed trailer to pick up my Spyder. Note: I live far south of dealership in Monroe, WA. The shop found a weak battery, replaced it and updated the software. In the meantime, I had worked out a plan to pick up the vehicle on Friday morning. My partner is a bit ill but being a trooper, she would oblige the long trip to drop me off at the dealer. To my surprise and thankful glee, Bruce called me early this morning to say he was on the way to return the Spyder to our home. In my case, I must salute Jake, Bruce, Ron and the staff at Lifestyles Honda for their over-the-top service.

DO NOT fall into the marketing trap that just because something is a component set that it's some how inferior because you couldn't be more wrong. I'm a 5 handicap player and I can tell you that Tom's clubs are just as good at half the price or better. Not to mention the skill he has at fitting each individual based on skill level, stance, swing speed, height, various swing habits, etc I had been seeking out a new set of forged irons for some time and tested every club out there from Nike to Mizuno until I heard of a rather innovative design by Dynacraft with their Tour Prophet Irons. I've played my share of expensive brands over the years, but I also know that there are some component clubs out there which are fantastic. I did a little research on local Dynacraft dealers and Tom came up as a well reviewed club fitter. Within about 30 seconds of meeting him, I knew he was the guy and really knows his stuff. He went right to task on letting me test the Dynacraft there in the shop. I have been playing Cleveland forged clubs the last few years but the Dynacraft were like butter by comparison and felt amazing from the first swing. Tom analyzed my swing speed and quickly determined the appropriate shaft and suggested a great grip. By the end of the hour I was convinced and pulled out the credit card. In the end I paid half what I would have paid for a set of 3-PW Mizunos I had been considering, but with Tom, the price also included 3 wedges! I gave my old Clevelands to a buddy of mine and Tom fitted him too (He's 6'9"), extended the shafts, and threw on some grips at a great price. I have been so impressed with Toms overall service, selection, and knowledge that I just had my girlfriend fitted for a full set of woods and irons, and with the putter included, I spent a fraction on what I would have spent elsewhere. The bottom line here is that if you are considering a set of golf clubs, regardless of your skill level, you'd be a fool not to at least pay Tom a visit.
