Highly recommend this place over the other place across the street, the other place guy on the phone had too much ego and didn't answer my questions directly. This place is much nicer, Ryan teaching us how to use the snowmobile was very clear with his instructions and we felt confident as first time riders. He lead us to the trail head and showed us the route. We had a lot of fun and our snowmobiles did great! We got a room booked for the day to change gear after hiking in the snow with our dog and have a safe warm place for our dog to rest while we went out for a few hours on snowmobiles. Super grateful for that! We're so happy to have found such an awesome place with highly professional people working here! We'll be back for sure!!

I stopped by Crow Creek Fly Shop and had such a great experience that I wanted to share…read more I brought in my favorite rod and reel combo from when I first started fly fishing. It has a lot of miles on it, and the butt of the rod had loosened over time. J Michelle, the new owner, took the time to help me adjust and secure it so I could keep using the setup I love rather than replacing it right away. Since my reel still works great, she helped me choose the right fly line and backing and got everything properly set up so I'm ready for many more seasons on the water. Her knowledge of the local area was incredibly helpful too -- she walked me through which flies are currently working best around Roslyn and for the type of fishing I like to do. J Michelle was prompt, efficient, encouraging, and genuinely enthusiastic about helping me improve my setup and my fishing experience. It's clear she cares about both the craft of fly fishing and the people who walk through the door. If you're anywhere near Roslyn and enjoy fly fishing, I highly recommend stopping by. Great service, great knowledge, and a welcoming shop that really supports anglers.

We didn't notice any poop bags or trash- good job people with pack it in pack it out!!! Once we arrived at the lake there were only a few hikers relaxing and enjoying the view. The lake is so clear and was so tempting to jump in but waited for another trip. There were some stones and roots but most of it was quite pleasant and we found the hike back down to be way less brutal than most hikes with some kind of elevation. It was giving me Yosemite vibes with the large rocks and mostly dry path. There was a pit toilet at the parking lot but didn't use it. It states the Discover pass is not valid there- had the national parks pass posted. The noise of traffic could be heard off in the distance but by the time you're at the lake it's completely gone and you're just vibing with the sounds of nature.
