We did so when the housing market in our area was…read moregoing absolutely ballistic, with houses going under contract within hours of going up on the market - we submitted multiple offers, all over asking price, that were rejected (not even countered). The entire process was incredibly stressful and nightmarish. The only thing that wasn't stressful, the only person who we felt was in "our corner" throughout this entire process was not our agent, not our loan officer, but our inspector, Marc. To put things in perspective, due to the nature of the housing market, we had inspections done on multiple houses, all with different inspectors, because we didn't find Marc until our last house we looked at. The other inspectors were random online finds, or suggestions from our broker, and not a single one of them seemed like they were looking out for me. But once Marc started looking through a house, it was like a huge burden had been lifted off our shoulders: we actually had someone who was making the process easier for us, rather than more difficult. And don't think it's because Marc just rubber-stamped the house and assured us nothing was wrong. On the contrary, Marc's inspection report was not only longer and more detailed than any of the other inspections we got on other houses, but it was three times the length of the second-longest inspection. We felt at-ease with Marc because of how insanely thorough he was. He also provided us recommendations for some of the work that we needed done, and we were extremely happy with those contractors as well, for what it's worth. Marc's inspections differed not only in size and level of detail, but in emphasis. While other inspectors we worked with focused on easy-to-spot cosmetic issues that could be fixed with some paint or a day's effort, Marc noticed things that nobody else noticed in any other houses that dealt with SAFETY. These were real issues that could put my family at risk, and Marc pointed out things that nobody else even thought to look at. Marc didn't just take a look and print up a document for us. He walked us through every step of the way, answering all of our questions and giving us an understanding of the issues and how to handle them. I didn't only learn about what to look for in this particular house, but I learned a great deal about home ownership and maintenance to boot. Like I said, we wound up buying the house that Marc inspected, and I'm sure that at least some part of that was due to how comfortable we felt with the level of scrutiny Marc brought to bear on the job. Since moving in, I've used the inspection report beyond the mere negotiating tactic that most inspection reports are (though it served that purpose well), I've actually used it as a honey-do checklist for fixing various things around the house. I feel like I've been able to use Marc's inspection report to turn my simple house purchase into a superhouse or something, like an impenetrable fortress of safety and equity. I liked my broker, I liked my loan agent, I liked the specialty inspectors (e.g. sewer scope), I liked the contractors we've had do work on the house. I liked all of these people, but I LOVED InspectAbility. I cannot possibly recommend them highly enough. After how difficult the home-buying process was for us as first-time home buyers, I hope I never, ever have to move and buy another house again. But if I do, Marc is the first person I'm calling, hands-down.

Oh My Goodness, where do I begin, with regard to Candice Oh! !…read more As anyone that knows me, I am not one for change, even if it's at a cost of a few Pennie's or more, I will deal with the hassle, lol. So when it came to us looking for a new house (new to us), we needed to find a realtor to buy and then sell our current home. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, we were unable to use our previous realtor. So, on the hunt we went for an honest, reliable, realtor, with a go getum attitude. We reached out to some good friends of ours that had recently bought and sold their house, and they turned us on to Candice Oh. Again, I was still a little stand offish, expecting the worst, and here walks in this little spunky lady, like she just drank a pot of coffee, with that go getum attitude, that she could conquer the world attitude . That changed my whole perspective, and gave me hope. Without making this a novel, I can honestly say. We started our journey in late October, and closed on both the new house and our house the beginning of January. Candice and her team went above and beyond, in every aspect of our journey. In this journey, my wife took the reins, and handled everything from providing the paper/documents, to setting up the appointments to see the house we were looking at, as well as the viewing of our house. If I was to tell you it was a perfect transaction on both ends I would be lying. However, it was smooth all the way around, and any road bumps we experienced, Candice made sure to express, that she would make that road as smooth as possible, and we wouldn't experience any discomfort along the way. My wife would agree with me, because she is a lot harder to please than me, and tends to get stressed out very easily, at the littlest of things. She would tell me every day, how pleased she was with Candice Oh, and her team. One more thing, without going into detail. There was one incident, that we needed to have someone go to our house for Xcell to get into the backyard, and neither of us were at the house. Candice was able to go to our house, put our two 90 pound dogs in the garage (without getting eaten alive), and let the Xcell guy in the back yard to look at the electrical box. She was able to do this with only five minutes notice. If you are looking for a realtor to give you that 120% effort, Candice Oh, is your woman. A lot of people will say they will go that extra mile, but will they actually do it. In this crazy housing market that we are in, you have a lot of realtors that are just in it to make a quick buck. Candice Oh is not like that, she enjoys what she does, and wants to make your dreams come true. Candice may be little, and wired on caffeine, some if not most of the time. However, she's like a Pit Bull in a Chihuahua body. She will find what you are looking for, and make you dreams come true, YOU ROCK ! ! ! Like the song from Hall and Oates "You make my/our dreams come true"! !

She tirelessly showed us every house we were interested in seeing (and there were a lot). She was always available and able to answer questions or address concerns. Recently we were offered a transfer and decided to sell. We called Beth Ann. She put our home on the market. Funny thing, the transfer fell though!!! It was very disappointing and upsetting and I wasn't looking forward to talking to a realtor who went to an extreme amount of work to put our home on the market. Beth Ann's response was amazing; "I always do what's in the best interest of my clients." And she did, without one ounce of added stress!!! David and his team did a wonderful job for my family after my aunt passed away and we had to clean,…read morerenovate and sell her condo. He and the team took the time to come over, give us an honest estimate of what the market was (selling around the holidays wasn't ideal) and we could expect. They even set us up with a staging company so that we could have great pictures to showcase the condo and it made a huge difference in the appearance and ultimately believe it assisted us with selling the condo.
