When we determined that we'd be relocating out of state, I reached out to my trusted lender for a referral in our new state. Without hesitation, she referred us to Bryan Rankin of Highlands Residential Mortgage. Because our former lender has delivered for us in the past, I trusted her whole heartedly and called only Bryan. From day one, he was responsive to my every concern. And because things are never entirely easy, we had a unique need with our loan. Bryan worked through our scenario and got us pre-approved in short order. Once our offer got accepted, we started the full loan application online. I was pretty impressed with the website and the process with Bryan and with Highlands. The online form wasn't near as lengthy or painful as our past home loan applications had been. I've got to say, working with Bryan was an absolute breeze. He's a real person, focusing on his real people clients. He treats his clients like family vs. a business relationship. If I needed him, I could reach him anytime via email, phone or even text. He was with me every step of the way, including fast replies to my gazillions of onesie twosie questions. And to provide the superior experience that Highlands Residential Mortgage strives for, Bryan doesn't do all this alone. I only conversed with one other person besides Bryan, our loan processor, who was just as attentive, thorough and responsive as Bryan is. Additionally, I believe there were at least two others involved behind the scenes, including the underwriter. And hear me when I say the process was painless. From loan application, through closing, I've never had such a seamless process with a home loan. EVER. Even the underwriting process was fast and painless. Did you hear me? Fast and painless through underwriting? I know, wild right? Bryan showed up for closing with a smile and a hug. I'm so thankful we found him.
