My family just opened a barbershop across the street so I stopped in to check out the shop and this place was calling my name -- finally stopped in for food and drinks, and so happy we did. First of all, the drinks -- so damn good! We tried four different ones and loved every single one. But what really sold us was the service. Our server was super personable, gave great recommendations, and took the time to chat whenever he could. It made the whole experience feel extra welcoming. The music was on point, and the Azores flag had my dad feeling his Portuguese pride - Everyone in the family gave this place a thumbs up. We haven't caught a comedy show yet, but we just bought tickets to one in November and can't wait to come back and experience the full vibe. Chris puts a lot of effort into getting great comedians from around the country to perform here. If you're a part of the local community you have to make sure you find ways to support! The club has great food, drinks, and comedy! It can easily fill up your weekend with fun things to do. They even have Kareoke after the show on Friday. As soon as I walked into the bar the atmosphere was extremely unwelcoming and hostile. The bartenders were incredibly rude, snarky, dismissive, and ignored me most of my time there. Making it unnecessarily difficult to even get a drink in my hand. On top of the awful service--the bathroom can be smelled all the way from the opposite side of the venue. That is definitely not something customers should have to deal with. Overall it was a huge disappointment and complete waste of time. If i could put less than 1 star I definitely would. I tried to reach out to the owner and the worker's expressed that he would "not care". From other customers I heard that he had made a derogatory statement on facebook to the owners of a small business who had an event there, saying, "your kind does not belong here." With the owners of said small business being of hispanic descent, I can't help but suspect it had a racist undertone. read more

Went here tonight for the 1st time with some friends. The place has a small bar when you enter. They also serve food. The menu is not huge but they have a few different selections and it looked like they offer daily specials. They had 2 showtimes and the doors open to the room where they do the comedy show about 45 minutes before showtime. The drinks were made pretty well and the food we tried was pretty good. I had their Cheeseburger which was well made and perfectly cooked and my friend had the Brisket with melted cheese sandwich that he said was really good also. The ladies had the BLT Sandwich and said they enjoyed it. The 3 comedians we saw were pretty good. Nice that Manteca has a Comedy Club. Always good to have a good laugh. read more

Upon seating we immediately met our server. They were very pleasant and helpful. The overall vibe is typical of any comedy club (we recently went to one in Vegas and this looked similar).
