The food was good and the service was great. This is a nice little spot along a main street, but located right on a canal. It's a unique little building that is obviously very old. For anyone with disabilities I recommend entering around the back directly onto the patio for easy access. We ordered a savory pancake, hamburger with fries, and bitterballen (a fried meatball). The food was tasty, but not the best we tried. I would recommend stopping for a bite if you're hungry. read more

The food was terrible. We ordered a cheese pancake and the pancake was undercooked with a grotesque amount of cheese, and a bacon and apple pancake which was also undercooked and greasy.. The service was also terrible and waitress unfriendly. It was overpriced and a huge waste of money. read more

It was a cold day exploring and we needed a warm snack. Stopped by here and had some pumpkin soup, Dutch cheese (a must in Amsterdam) with some hot coffee and tea. The service is great with friendly staff and we were able to sit here a bit while husband caught the Penn State game! Place is casual pub feel but very family friendly. read more

We sat in the lower terrace. A wonderful treat to enjoy brunch overseeing the canal. With the sun out, there are large umbrellas for shade. Very friendly staff. All meals were served quickly. The Dutch pancakes covered the entire plate. The fruit drinks were a bit small but otherwise tasty. The coffee was wonderful. read more

A lovely situated bar/restaurant with a terrace that overlooked onto the canal. The weather was so hot when I visited and so sat inside for some shade which was lovely. I was served by a lovely woman who advised me on portion sizes and I'm glad I got two croquettes instead of three as I thought they would be like British sized croquettes but no they were much bigger. I went to the ladies toilets down some awkward steps and was surprised to see that I was water level and a duck swam past! But i would recommend this place for food and drinks and a relaxing atmosphere with friendly and helpful staff too! read more

I'm huge on breakfast, no matter the time. It happen to be about 2 P.M so naturally my friends wanted lunch. Lucky I stumbled upon this little corner spot and they served both! YUM.. Full bar with indoor/outdoor and bar seating. Breakfast was perfect. Just what I wanted, and the bottle of champagne (Because. Brunch) was reasonable. To top it off, the view was spectacular.
