The bartenders were super nice and friendly (always a pleasant surprise) and were talking to the other regulars about what they did last night and what they plan to do after work. Super casual. It seemed like they were also very knowledgeable about beer so if you're not sure, you can consult with them to get recommendations. The beer was great and there were a lot of options. The location is near the park and also near a tram stop if you want to take public transport after your beers (or beer tour, in my case). I hope to do the beer tour again when I'm in Amsterdam and therefore come back to Craft & Draft.

Wooden tables and finishing, black chalkboard, 40 taps and a pleasant bar man who is knowledgable about beer. This is a good place for a pint and there will be options to fit whatever taste you have. I got a lovely IPA recommended to me and really enjoyed it. It's quite far out the centre, but that's actually a good thing and it's worth the walk. If you like craft beer and find yourself in Amsterdam you should make the effort to visit craft & draft.

The beers I tasted were without exception novelty beers, with overly fruity, herby or bitter tastes. Get your pilsener right and other basics right, first! The food however was excellent. Troost has gone full vegetarian on their burgers and this was the first time in my life I tasted that vegetarian burger replacements have a future. Texture and flavours were spot on. Wouldn't mind coming back for the burgers and will accept that the beers are not as I would like them.

There were a good variety on tap, except for one time they were literally out of everything but we found something else that we liked. I tried the IPA and the Honey beer and both were very crisp and fresh. They had a menu with little bites but we didn't try any. It's a nice spot to stop for a beer after a long day of walking and sightseeing, and I could see this as a nice spot to meet with friends after work if you're from the area.

The tasting room is well appointed and the outdoor patio area is pretty large. They primarily brew organic craft beers leaning towards Belgian influences. The beers we had were spectacular. Far superior than anything I've had in America and we've got some darn good breweries. My favorite is the Zatte Tripel. The food offerings were perfectly European. We shared a board of bread, sausages, cheese, olives, and nuts. Service was fast and friendly.

I was expecting it to be a little spicer than it was--so I added some of their hot sauce which is excellent. The one thing I didn't like about the sandwich is they use American cheese. There are SO many amazing cheeses out there--I'll never understand why any restaurant--aside from fast food ones--use American cheese. It would be a lot better with real cheese. The chicken pieces a la chef Paul were delicious. They're like chicken nuggets for adults, very flavorful. We also ordered a bowl of olives to snack on white we drank. It's a great way to spend an afternoon -- drinking a variety of beer and eating bar food. Awesome place. I highly recommend taking a 1/2 day from Amsterdam and coming here. I've enjoyed the new addition, Tempe Satay, which is served with fries, coleslaw, a few doritos and peanut sauce. Because if it's popularity it can get very crowded. There is good outside seating with heaters. The crowd is mostly the younger set and it can get loud sometimes breaking into song at the end of an evening.

I have never heard of such a place before, and I guess there might not be a lot in the world. We are lucky to have it within 30-minutes driving distance. That was a wise choice: my friend told me the place was completely overcrowded the first weekend. That made me happy because it is great that people are interested in this new concept. The next weekend we went. The place is located outside the city center, in a big industrial space. It is huge because the brewing proces and the pub are both located in the same big space, which is fun because if you come early, like we did, you can see the guys brew the beers. I loved it all. The beers were good (only had a few sips though because I needed to drive), the space was cool, the people were super friendly, the prices were decent and the food....was AWESOME! Very, very tasty and nice dishes. The burger was very good, and the potatoes that came with it were also awesome. The bite I tried from the tempeh skewers were also very good. The dessert was just okay, and a bit expensive, though this did not even matter to me so much anymore because everything else was just so nice. I will definitely be back!

My hubby said fish. I thought chips. So fish and chips it was. But where? I looked at google maps and found a Brewery nearby. Nothing screams fish and chips like a brewery combined with a restaurant right? Wrong. But in a lovely surprising way. Because Oproer doesn't like the old adagio that "beer and meat" are basically each others twins, like salt 'n pepper, They'd like to change that into beer and vegan meals. Quite cool! Next to beers, they have a big variety in biological fruit drinks. I ordered a lemon/ginger lemonade and it was great. My love tried their beer and loved it. Many IPA's on the menu by the way. It's a cool place in an old industrial hall. Very rock'n'roll & vegan. We had a great appetizer, warm fresh bread with a beet dip. We read that the bread was actually made from the left overs from the brewing process. Neat! Our main was the Burgerine: a aduki bean burger topped with aubergine and a vegan mayonaise, with garlic broiled taters on the side and some salad. It was really good, loved the flavors! The waitress tried to interest us in their new desert: tiramisu with cashew instead of mascarpone and tofu! Unfortunately, it had just a wee bit of alcohol in it and I didn't dare to do that to our baby. So. We must be back. And we will. Because this is a great place and it reminds us of our "youth" hanging around in rock bars. Just the thing we like!
