I chose NW Natural Lighting based upon their knowledge, their communication, a nicely detailed estimate, no hard sell or upsell to something unnecessary, and everyone I had contact with at the company was helpful, nice and courteous. NW Natural Lighting had installed ceramic frit glass rail before (usually on commercial projects) but for us were able to source Guardian Glass Bird 1st UV for the first time. Fair warning, the cost in money and time to source this glass is pretty dissuasive, but having not been an early adopter for any earth-friendly technologies in the past I decided this could be my one thing. NW Natural Lighting did a great job sourcing and installing the glass, and aside from cost and lead time, the product is absolutely incredible - the sample they got for their showroom really doesn't do it justice. Except when it fogs up at night and the moisture evaporates at different rates in the morning, none of us humans can see it at all. So far not a single bird strike, and we get to enjoy a stunning view. Very well done.

Her contractor (Serhat) was also extremely professional, skillful and courteous and it was a great experience working with both of them. Aysel sourced the parts from Europe. In one of the parts, there were some mechanical issues, and Aysel promptly offered full refund. Overall, I am highly impressed with Aysel's customer service, professionalism and creativity and definitely recommend her to others for projects related to home improvements.

It is simply impossible to get a response from this business no matter how you try to reach out. While we had a few different quotes from other businesses we could have gone with, following Daniel's in-person visit we figured we'd give Seattle Custom Blinds. Big. Mistake. From then on things quickly went downhill. It took several months before our simple project was finally completed and nearly 100 emails until I finally had my blinds installed. And that's not to mention the several incorrectly placed orders that continuously delayed things. We gave them as much slack as humanly possible the entire time but they took advantage of that and every day that went by it seemed like they were actively trying to find new ways to waste my time. When it was all said and done, I ended up being the one having to install the smart integration myself since Seattle Custom Blinds apparently couldn't quite figure out how to order the necessary parts (I had paid for) from whoever their supplier was. Mind you... them offering that as part of the package was one of the reasons why I chose to give them the business. It has been a few months since we FINALLY got our blinds installed but I'm leaving this review now because the remote that came with them broke and I wanted to grab a new one so I have been trying to get in touch with them and what do you know? Zero response! Our blinds had a lot of minor issues following the installation and I honestly didn't even bother trying to get a response from Daniel since I am convinced they will never respond to former customer emails after our experience with them. Seriously... there are many other blind installers in our area. Most are very professional. The majority will carry the exact same product or better. They will likely not mess up your order 100 times for no apparent reason. And I guarantee they will all be more responsive and easy to work with. So do yourself a favor and go with any other option out there.
